Title: Quotes Game.
Post by: Mechadon on October 18, 2006, 09:55:36 pm
Find a quote from a movie, tv series, video game, or a book; and see if you can relate it to Pizza Cats. It can be a quote that you think an SPC character might say. Or maybe it can possible fit in a particular episode. Or you can pair the quote with a screenshot of SPC to make it funnier. You are allowed o modifiy the quote a bit, but in most cases I would prefer that you keep the quote as accurate as possible. Maybe in the future we can vote on what quotes we like best.

So here is my first entry.

"I mean, hey, I can't die. I'm the hero of this story." - Sounds like something Speedy might say. But can you guess where the quote is actually from?

By guess I mean use Google of course.

First thought was Tidus from FFX (Seemed like a Tidus'y thing to say), but further delving revealed it to be Shane Schofield in Ice Station.

Here's one:

Character 1: "Who blabbed?"

Character 2: "The narrator did!"

Character 3: "And he never lies, right?"

Narrator: "Right!"

Defiantly SPC-esque.

Correctamundo!(Pulp Fiction) Now for your quote. I can't believe it's NOT from SPC. I'll see if I can figure it out.
I'll be back. (Terminator)

I'm not suprised that you didn't find it (I'll assume that you didn't): the show I mentioned was basicly the precursor of SPC.  The whole thing was done in the 50s and 60s.  I'm talking about Rocky and Bullwinkle, of course!  It had refrences to itself, popular culture, the narrator, ect, just like SPC - it was animated, even.

Can't think of another quote, though.
