Title: General Gaming Discussion Post by: Mechadon on December 15, 2006, 02:14:49 am Here at the GGND, you can discuss anything new about the world of gaming. I actually created this thread because I have no clue where to put this news.
So has anyone heard of the latest news in the world of Sega? http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/750/750667p1.html Pretty cool huh? In Greenhill Zone no one can hear you scream. (http://img274.imageshack.us/img274/8868/xenovc5.jpg) (http://imageshack.us) Just so you know. I made this a year ago using a Sonic Character Creater. I didn't draw him by hand. Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: robinoz on December 15, 2006, 06:21:12 pm crazy dude :)

Who you gonna call? http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/755/755532p1.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etGWugTbGwk Words cannot discribe. I hope this happens. Wait! I know one word that can. Radical 8) Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: Takila on January 17, 2007, 06:29:10 pm I hope they take out those god-awful text-to-speech warning sounds before the final release.
If not, this could end up as the biggest thing since "Hey! Listen!". Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: AsterCrow on January 17, 2007, 09:34:25 pm Words cannot discribe. I hope this happens. Wait! I know one word that can. Radical 8) Bringin' it back. Ohhh yeaaah. Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: Matt on January 18, 2007, 03:14:30 pm Ghostbusters game?
This is the news of 07. Bigger than MGS4, plz. Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: Valkyrie on January 18, 2007, 08:27:30 pm They gotta have the original voices to any of the original ghost busters, or it won't be the same at all.
And yeah, woo! Ghostbusters! Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: SteC on January 19, 2007, 09:08:11 am Please let it be in multiformat!
Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: Helios on January 19, 2007, 10:57:18 am For any fans of The Elder Scrolls series (it is more to do with TES4: Oblivion), this was just announced yesterday - http://www.elderscrolls.com/games/shiveringisles_overview.htm (http://www.elderscrolls.com/games/shiveringisles_overview.htm). I'm very excited about this, though I'm gonna need to get Xbox Live.
Summed up, the features will be - retail version for PC. Xbox 360 available to download via Live. PS3 release date to be set. - Shivering Isles is about 1/4 size of Cyrodiil game world - 30 hours of additional gameplay, including a new main quest, miscellaneous quests, dungeons, landscape, etc - new enemies, items, ingredients, spells, etc - access to craftsmen in order to have new armour and weapons made for you. Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: Threaux on January 19, 2007, 03:09:04 pm This is going to be the first of a few expansions, much like Bloodmoon or Tribunal for TES III, and I am looking forward to it. I play on PC though, so I will probably end up trying before buying. Hopefully It will add a substantially large land area and many new items and such (like Bloodmoon did for Morrowind), and not just a few hours worth of quests and few dozen more weapons/armor like the Nights of the Nine pack did.
Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: Valkyrie on February 09, 2007, 04:46:40 pm Heres something you RTS lovers may enjoy...
SUPREME COMMANDER: the demo is out now. (over a gig, pretty big for a demo I must say) http://www.supremecommander.com/ (http://www.supremecommander.com/) Remember Total Annihilation, well its pretty much the same people, but now a glorious and profound new version of the game! But instead of robots fighting for the heck of it, it's for the survival and domination of the galaxy! The release date is sometime later this year, I'm not sure when though. This demo though is taking over my life! Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: Mechadon on February 15, 2008, 01:51:18 am Just thought I'd help Harmonex revive another topic.
It's official; Red Alert 3 is a reality. Looks like Japan is the new super-power in this one. All hail Emperor Fred! http://pc.ign.com/articles/852/852227p1.html Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: Guido64380 on February 17, 2008, 04:23:52 pm Well of course Japan is the new power. They have all the insane technology.
Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: Mechadon on April 29, 2008, 11:41:40 am This is the best article I've read in a long long time.

She mentioned World of Warcraft! Seriously, though, that made me laugh many times through it. Glad you liked the article too. The article was written by a dude. That's a picture of Tanya Byron; the one who lead that report on media effects. Don't you just hate it when it seems as though the outcome of a report or study is determined before it's even started? Politics and science are a very bad mix. Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: Mechadon on April 29, 2008, 11:04:37 pm I actually find it very amusing, though I enjoy general disorder in whatever form it takes. That's odd coming from someone named Harmonex. Harmonex ---> Harmony (Dur, Alex Trebek, I'd like to buy a clue. ?:|) Title: Re: General Gaming News Discussion Post by: Guido64380 on May 06, 2008, 02:54:55 pm I guess you can't spell Harmonex without harm
Title: Re: General Gaming Discussion Post by: Mechadon on January 11, 2009, 01:15:23 pm I just found an amazing article pertaining to my favourite movie. I agree whole-heartedly with it. Give it a read.
