Title: KNT Anniversary Memorial
Post by: felineki on December 16, 2006, 05:21:32 pm
I recently won this doujinshi set on an auction, and thought I'd share some scans with everyone. ;)

Labels

When I opened the package, I noticed that not only did it contain the box with 5 books, but also a set of full-color audio cassette case labels (thanks, Violet  ;-) ) featuring art of the characters. Some of you might have seen these before (I know that at least one of them was included in one of Violet's newsletters). They're really cute, and easy to scan compared to book pages, so I scanned them first. I'm afraid my scans don't really do them justice, because my scanner is sort of old, and I don't use it very much, so I don't know many of the tricks for making scans turn out the best they can. Perhaps I'll do better scans of them eventually.

Back Covers

The back covers of the first four books combine together to form one VERY large illustration (the back cover of the fifth book is a table of contents). I made a lousy attempt at a compsite scan, certainly to be replaced by a better one some time in the future. This actually might be the sort of thing that woul be expressed better with a photograph than a scan...

Excellent! There all good.
I love the M1 Abrams in 500 foot Omitsu picture.

Polly's fish pajamas are awsome.

And the Strange Pururun... yah.

I'm assuming N-3 is supposed be an improvement. Personally, I don't think an improved armour system should have less armour. I can't possibly see how that thong will protect her lower torso.

Great acquisition, felineki! ;) I haven't seen all the pictures because I'm today at my home, where the Internet conection is very slow. Nevertheless I liked very much to see Otama in her sailor costumes. Very cute and lovely.

You're one lucky dude to grab that stuff!
Love the different hairstyles for Otama!

The "stationary" is actually a bunch of labels to go inside audio cassette cases (remember those?).

Ah, that makes sense. I thought I had seen labels like those somewhere before, I couldn't remember where. :P Now it's all coming back to me.

Nice job editting all that together.  I was thinking of doing that with my copy, but it seemed too difficult for me.

nice,

Though I didn't like all of it (didn't like the style, but it's a personal oppinion). Oh and Tsuneko, nice job. Really awesome.
Would love to see more of this.

thanks; the edited pic was done in photoshop CS2 student, with my Trust Graphics tablet, so i could 'fake' the draw lines of the original artist with my pen's pressure function to get the style of depth for a pencil drawing. took about 3 hours to get it right, but i'm really happy with the result, as it takes me some time to see where it has been edited.

Congrats for that really goodstuff; anyway I wonder why almost anybody likes to draw the por Sukashi

I think the N-3 if for Nyankee 3; after all she is Nyankee San Go or Nyankee number 3...
