Title: Where to see the show Post by: adam808 on January 12, 2007, 02:50:46 am Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL16AF241BCBF7767E
MugenX is working on subtitling Eto Rangers for English audiences. http://mugenx.livejournal.com/ Episode 1-16 completed. An Important Note: To the owners and creators of the show, I would still say I hope to see a DVD release. The distribution of the episodes online is not intended to replace a future possibility of DVD sets. I know there are others in several countries who would love to see DVDs of the localizations for where they lived, and even more versions in areas were it never aired. If a DVD release occurred, I would ask fans to please buy it to show support in numbers. Besides, a DVD set with extra features or special items would make a great collectible. There was indeed an official release for SPC/KNT, so why not Eto Rangers? I can wish. Title: Re: Where to see the show Post by: Mechadon on January 28, 2007, 10:05:12 pm Same here. Only the audio plays. Is there any way for me to watch these on Windows Media or Real Player.
Title: Re: Where to see the show Post by: Threaux on January 28, 2007, 11:15:52 pm Sounds like a codec problem. The file is encoded as an xvid .avi so you need to find a codec pack/media player that will support the files, thus enabling playback. k-lite (MP classic and VLC included) should have any and all codecs that you will ever need.
Title: Re: Where to see the show Post by: vvthedemon on January 30, 2007, 08:54:49 pm yeah well how do you get it to work with that
Title: Re: Where to see the show Post by: kiwisrgreen on January 30, 2007, 09:21:03 pm you install it and then the video should play in windows media player.
Title: Re: Where to see the show Post by: vvthedemon on January 30, 2007, 09:53:21 pm oh ok but how do you instal
Title: Re: Where to see the show Post by: kiwisrgreen on January 31, 2007, 06:50:08 pm oh ok but how do you instal whoops sorry, no wonder you didn't get it. I have no clue what the link I put up above before is for but here's the link to download xvid codec (http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/). You download it, open it, install it, and the video should play on windows media player. Title: Re: Where to see the show Post by: vvthedemon on February 04, 2007, 07:07:01 pm ok

Title: Re: Where to see the show Post by: Blackcat on January 27, 2008, 07:42:38 pm VLC media player is good for watching lots of videos without downloading a lot of spacewaster codecs...
VLC media player is a free software media player by the VideoLAN project. It is a highly portable multimedia player, encoder, and streamer supporting many audio and video codecs and file formats as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. It is able to stream over networks and to transcode multimedia files and save them into various different formats. VLC used to stand for "VideoLAN Client", but that meaning is deprecated. It is one of the most platform-independent players available, with versions for BeOS, BSD, Linux, Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, Solaris and Windows CE, and is widely used with over 50 million downloads for version 0.8.6. VLC uses a large number of free decoding and encoding libraries. Many of its codecs are provided by the libavcodec codec library from the FFmpeg project, but it uses mainly its own muxer and demuxers. It also gained distinction as the first player to support playback of encrypted DVDs on Linux by using the libdvdcss DVD decryption library. Version 0.8.6, which adds support for WMV version 9 and enhances support for H.264, was released on 10 December 2006. http://www.videolan.org/ Title: Re: Where to see the show Post by: BLADEDGE on February 19, 2009, 10:14:32 am i have som raw episodes if anyone wants them
Title: Re: Where to see the show Post by: adam808 on January 05, 2010, 04:21:58 am Also, I can turn on my Frostwire (free/open source Gnutella client, if you already have Limewire you can use that too) and share my set of Eto Rangers episodes sometime if needed.
Nobody ever connects, and I end up shutting that machine off. Maybe the search doesn't find me. Or, nobody wants to download that slowly directly from my home connection. Actually, I have an idea. There is a modified torrent client based on Azureus called OneSwarm where friends can exchange our own torrents without a tracker privately. Maybe we should start a swarm for Eto Rangers material so if any one person goes down we can keep it circulating. I am seriously thinking about it. Check it out and let me know what you think: http://oneswarm.cs.washington.edu/ Title: Re: Where to see the show Post by: Someone who does Something on January 17, 2011, 08:26:19 pm First 15 Episodes of Eto Rangers Sub'ed:
