What is wrong with the idea of a crazy principal  that talks nonsence?

Nothing is wrong with the idea. The problem ends up with the character you used for that idea.
The character Principal Tio is not meant to be an insane and crazy character.
He's meant to be more stable, sane, and on task to keep the high school running despite being in a city with as many problems as Little Tokyo.

Now... If you had perhaps, made an assistant principal who was crazy, or perhaps a principal from the rival school which you created in a previous Little Tokyo High RP, that may have gone by better.

Ok here some data to refresh everyone memory:

Random students: The most overused unimportant characters, used to advance the plot without introducing new characters, they are generic students that usually don’t have more than one of two lines. While everyone in the school knows they aren’t important, making fun of the fact that they are generic students is considered rude.

the Shadows High and the Banchou

*In the other side of Little Tokyo, lies the most infamous high ever, the Shadows High, due to some events that happened in Little Tokyo High, they became aware of the existence of that school. There is a gang there, formed by the last year students best fighters, is called the Banchou. Basically, if the students there don’t pay protection money to the Banchou, they get their limbs broken. Despite that fact, they sometimes do some good, even if because of territorial seasons, they destroyed most of what was left of the "Dusk Hare"(The team of ninja bunny girls) temporality weakling it, and forcing  the Dusk hare to hire not only bunny girls, but also others species.

*The “Dusk Hare”, a team mostly formed by ninja bunny girls, they used to be the recurrent villains, until the “Banchou”, whipped most of them. The most recurrent characters of the Dusk hare are: number 434 Hikari, the most lucky bunny ninja girl ever(She hardly suffers any damage in battle, because she usually gets lost and arrives late), the “Boss”,  know as bunny girl 34(Her real name is Rine); and the “Agent”, a mysterious Male hare that is dressed like a lawyer and uses glasses, he seems to be the real boss, or at least he is above Bunny girl 34 in leadership.

*Yuusuke the three head monkey: He is a nice guy, despite the fact of being a monkey that has three heads. No one knows what class he is in, he usually appears when someone says “Look behind you, a three head monkey!”. All his heads seem to think like one.

*The battle moderator: a penguin with dark glasses and a blue suit, he tries to direct battles that happen in the “out of continuity” LTH episodes, but he usually cant avoid the school being destroyed.

* FG the fox girl: She is a secret agent infiltrated in the school, she loves Dash, but secret agent stuff usually gets in the way.

Space monkeys: They appeared in continuity and out of continuity episodes, Jack ate the last one left, but that was in a out of continuity episode and mentioned by the out of continuity crazy principal Tio, so no one knows if it counts.

The doctor and the Nurse: Just try to avoid them, or you may be the subject of torture and strange experiments. They have more screen time in the out of continuity episodes.

the Auditórium: A mystery lies under the new auditorium, but we always get out of time to show it.

Suggestion on next episode:

Little Tokyo High: "IRON CHEF GAMBLE"

Story:
Some jerk from a fancy french-japanese themed resturant wishes to get Little Tokyo High, and turn it into a Cooking school, but because he could sop easily bride the princible, he instead decided to give the students and teachers a chance to see if there are any talented individual cooks worthy of keeping the school, and calls fourth the first ever "LITTLE TOKYO IRON CHEF HIGH CONTEST!!!!". I know, it's a long name, but it's better than nothing. And yes, it's suppose to be foods being cooked in the most comediac ways possible. So get your pots, pans, toge*, barf bags, and let the laughs begin! >=D

*Toge: Those hats chefs wear as a symble of being cooks.

For all this Mary Sue hatred going on... I'm kinda feeling like I should make my own Mary Sue character.
... In fact... Since I've got a few minutes... I may do just that. Prepare ye worlde... For KyoZaber is about to introduce you to... GEORGE SUE!
(For those of you whom think I'm bluffing... You'll have to look around. George is here... created... and here to stay.)

Well, a point for not Making mary sues, is giving flaws to the characters. Take the main SPC cast for example...

Guido has a very big Ego, and believes to be a ladies man, but the fact is that he is the show underdog....or undercat

Polly has a bad temper and tends to be agresive

Francine loves money a bit too much

Speedy is a goof!

and...

Lucille tends to shot out misilles out of her head just for about everything...

The Big Cheese is... well... a bit crazy.

Lets see (Again) a few the SPC fan made characters I have used so far...

Usagi: Made to be a villain, I made him quit LTH (As a student at least) because he didnt fit what Kyo wanted in the rp, Nowadays he apears as a Ejecutive of whats left of the Dusk hare, despite they arent the main villains anymore. His flaws? Well, he has no sence of honor, and does everything to reach his goal. He was suposed to develop compasion, love and all that junk later, but we never saw it. Usagi is more like a nickname, not his real name. PS: He is the “Agent”.

Jack Daniel Black the small black cat: He was made to fit what Kyo wanted in the rp back then, but since people tend to target him as a "princess" to kidnap, he develolped a "hulk" mode. He is not a hero, or a villain, and has failed at doing both things. He is just a cat boy with hopes and dreams that never became true, nowadays he is just filler.

Roma: A strange catgirl with horns from another world, she is suposed to search for Dash, since she belives that he is the hero from the legend, but she havent had much luck so far.

Seia: She tried to be part of the main cast, but the readers didnt like her... so back she went to the Shadows High. We may seee her back if Kyo does a sports even that involves others schools.

Janitor: He is just a Janitor, nothing more, nothing less

Farah Gail: Aka FG the Fox girl, having a secret agent can be a good idea, but she got sick... ahhh... poor foxie!. We may see her back someday.

Ok enough selft gloathing for now.... my point is, none of those characters is a Mary sue...

Musashisuya, I'm not sure that your storyline would work well for me as a main story arc. It's a decent idea, however, my Principal Tio character is designed around high standards of integrity. Chances of him being bought off are slim to none. I could see this chef pull some strings with the local school board to get Principal Tio out and himself put in though.

If we'd do anything with this plot, I'd say we'd have to create another "Offbeat" RP for you folks to govern yourselves. Since we already have one Offbeat RP going, we really should finish that one first before starting another one.
----------------------

I'll post up thoughts on Mary Sue characters sometime this week if I get around to it.
I started typing up a response, however none of my thoughts were coherent. Since this is an important topic for me, I'm going to make sure that my response has everything I want it to say.

*Slowly disappears off the bottom of everyone's moniters* NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! *insert japanese letters saying "Owned" here*

With all melodrama aside, are there any ideas to make my idea of an RP main arc worthy? Seriously, I haven't gotten the chance to introduce Tetsuya Hanamura yet.

That depends of what you want, if you arent going to play the hero/villain game, your character could join in any LTH rp... there is also a few times in the rp where the characters are out of school, there is more freedoom to do hero/villain stuff there. as long as it happens "OUT of school" it seems Kyo is fine with that.

So Kyo, do you want that assistant principal who is a crazy character? I  love the idea of a character that keeps talking to students about stuff they should and shouldnt do, but then starts to wander off and talk nonsence until the students are almost death of "boredoom". But you could just make out that the principal does this, not because he is crazy, but because he just know the right strings to pull in every student. When it comes to Jack, it seems it has worked, he is not that crazy hulk kid anymore...

In fact he has become so boring... I dont know what to do with it anymore... WAIT! I GOT IT!

He will become some kind of teen version of JJJ!

http://spiderman.wikia.com/wiki/J._Jonah_Jameson

Yeah, he could publish a newspaper focusing of how bad heroes are...and he could target Dash!

Yeah... it could work...

Actually... You are getting a few ideas moving in my head.
Great potential for a new character, and something I could include in the new main story whenever it gets off the ground.

With all due respect, no Blackcat. I do not want a crazy vice principal character.  :(
With the faculty, we've already got the ability do tell students what they can do, and can't do. We've also got enough nuts in the bunch that adding another will not do much for us.
As for making your Jack more like Jonah Jameson from Spider Man, feel free to do so.

(Warning :: Brick of Text Ahead)
On the topic of Mary Sues I'm going to start off with this premise, no one is perfect.

Everyone has their character flaws, no matter how small. I always write with the main premise, that good will triumph over evil. While there are those whom argue that this is never always the case, I argue this one fact...
We are writing fiction, not fact.

A “Mary Sue” character, a character that can do no wrong, and always find a way out of a situation. I can see where this angers many people. Many of us strive every day to be that kind of person whom can do no wrong. It also drives us nuts when anything we do does go wrong. This is where the fantasy of our writing comes into play. It helps us break out of the dull, deafening constraints of reality, and be a part of a place where anything can happen. You can be the perfect do-gooder or no-fail evil-doer as much as you want, and everything will turn out the way you want it!

This changes slightly however when multiple people join in the writing process. ;)
There are many ways to turn the tides on a character. While a character may be set up to be trusted by everyone in the beginning of an RP, things can happen over the course of a few posts to cast plausible doubt towards anything that character does in the future. This is where paying close attention to facts, detail, and the chain of events come in very handy, and are needed when RPs begin to get long.

I can't speak for everyone. Myself, I want to see the hero win every time. I want to see the villain get sent packing with his tail between his legs. Mostly, I want justice to be served to those whom would dare harm another in any way just for their own gain.

Now... As for our RP situation with “Mary Sue” characters. The following is my final say on the situation. (This will be added to our Rules Page after this post.)

1) Students are not allowed to have powers which can destroy the world any number of times.
2) I will not interfere with student character creation unless this character becomes a disruptive force ruining the fun for everyone else. (Majority Rules)
3) If you think your character is perfect, please think again. If I have to, I'll find ways to cast doubt, suspicion, and any other plot devices your character's way. (Don't worry, it'll be funny. I promise!)

With these said... I consider the subject closed.
I don't want to hear any more about it. Future posts with the word “Mary Sue” or any likeness in it will be deleted, or digitally vandalized by yours truly. I also want to point out “Rule 3”...

Rule 3:Respect other Characters/Players.
-You're sharing High School. Play nice.
-If you've got a serious thing you've got to talk to another player about, use the PM system. Only OOC when needed.

I suggest we try a soft reset so people can join this rp again, what do you think?
