Title: ~In Search of the Ginzu~ Post by: KyoZaber on February 24, 2007, 07:39:01 pm This is the thread I'm going to use to post up my Samurai Pizza Cat story series...
"In Search of the Ginzu" I'll give you a quick low-down of the basic plot... The stories take place a ways before the Samurai Pizza Cats get the Supreme Catatonic. The main focus is Speedy, and the Ginzu Sword. I should warn anyone that while there are light-hearted moments & some good humor, the stories are geared up in a more serious manner. There is no blood and guts or slashing or anything, but it's no cake walk either. Don't get me wrong, I'd love for these to be turned into an actual set of SPC episodes! (Name a fan fiction writer who wouldn't want their story turned into an actual production. =] ) That being said, feel free to add any comments you wish about either of the stories. P.S: Here's a web link to where I pulled my first story from. I unfortunately mis-placed my file. ^^; http://www.freewebs.com/burkeworld/fictioncontest.htm (http://www.freewebs.com/burkeworld/fictioncontest.htm) Title: Re: ~In Search of the Ginzu~ Post by: KyoZaber on February 24, 2007, 07:40:54 pm Story 1

Story 3 is a work in progress. As soon as I finish it, this post'll be updated. Till then... Umm... Sorry. ^^; Title: Re: ~In Search of the Ginzu~ Post by: Violet on February 26, 2007, 03:46:54 am I've enjoyed it so far. Except that Francine is not "Francine Manx" (pet peev of mine).

What is Francine? Francine Smith? Cool! Burkey Title: Re: ~In Search of the Ginzu~ Post by: KyoZaber on February 26, 2007, 08:26:05 pm I've enjoyed it so far. Except that Francine is not "Francine Manx" (pet peev of mine). She isn't!? :O >_< Raggle fraggle... May I ask what her last name is? I can't remember where I picked up Manx... However if there is a proper last name for her I would greatly appreciate to know it. And I'll make the edit to the story as soon as I can. Edit: I'm glad you're enjoying it so far Princess Vi. ^_^ As well as the rest of you who've already downloaded it & are reading, or in the process of reading. And if you're not enjoying it, my apologies for waisting your time. Title: Re: ~In Search of the Ginzu~ Post by: Violet on February 27, 2007, 04:23:55 am Francine doesn't have a last name, at least it's not ever used on the show or any offical source (Meowsma O'Tool's full name was never used on the show, but did show up on the box for his action figure). "Manx" was a name made up by White Cat to use as Fran's last name on his SPC page, since the other cats all had known last names. Even though he admitted he only made up the name, people saw the web page and thought it was her real name, and so it spread to other web pages. A manx cat has a short tail or no tail, and as anyone who's watched the show knows, Fran has a tail just as long as the other cats.
Manx trivia: Manx cats originate from the Isle of Man. Local mythology explains their short tails and long rear legs are due to them being the result of cross breeding with rabbits. The term "Cabbit" originates from this myth. No more Manx for Francine, thank you for the info, I never realized any of that. ^^; I just assumed, and... well... there is a saying about assumption.
