Title: Lunar Eclipse
Post by: SteC on March 03, 2007, 04:55:26 pm
Between 10:20pm and 12am, there will be the lunar eclipse in the UK.

Has it happened anywhere else in the world?

I thought it looked impressive through a binoculars, although it's rubbish trying to film it on a digital camera. As soon as the whole moon was covered it, it disappeared from my cam.  8O

I saw a perfect solar eclipse more than 10 years ago here, in Brazil. Never saw a lunar eclipse though.

I wasn't able to see it. We don't have any moons up here in Canada.  :P

I did get to see a copper-colored moon. Didn't know it was the result of an eclipse though.

Lunar eclipses are pretty neat, especially if you have a telescope. I've seen a few in my time *cougholdagecough*, but I can only ever remember seeing one solar eclipse when I was in junior high school. now THAT was freaky..

It was supposed to happen around here, but there were too many clouds out.

I remember that solar eclipse though. I think I was a sophomore in high school.
