Title: What's it like having a sister? (If you do have one...)
Post by: ItsGotSugar on March 09, 2007, 09:43:33 pm
I've always kind of wondered about this, just because I grew up with two younger brothers and almost all of my cousins are male.

So what's it like for you guys? And are sisters preferable to brothers, or are they just as bad in different ways?

Mwahaha, no sister for me, I'm an only child.

Burkey

They can be a pain. Mine are brats most of the time.

FYI, I have 5 sisters. 1 full, 3 step and on half sister. Right now, I only live with one.

One younger sister. Half the time she gets on my nerves by bossing me around and acting like my mom, the other half she's pretty nice to me, going out of her way to help me or whatever. I dis/like brother and sister equally.  :/

I have two sisters who are 6 years younger than me, they are fraternal twins. And if you ever heard the expression "double trouble" well... it doesn't even compare to how my sisters were when they were younger. They used to team up and do evil things together, even had their own language for a long time that to this day I still have trouble making out. But now they're 19, one has moved out of the house, and the other is a bum. The one who moved out is what you would call a "cyber goth" where she goes and does the clubbing/candy trading/black-wearing/overuse-of-make-up thing. My other sister is completely obsessed with how she looks and is very materialistic....and she also thinks for some reason she is a psychic and has a rock that she thinks "opens her third eye". I could go on forever about the both of them, but I won't.

So...all I can say is... thank whoever you worship that you DON'T have any sisters.

Excellent > : D

No sister for me, but my older brother does have a disablity problem in which he cannot talk. Nevertheless he communicated with me and the family very well after all those years (he moved out to a new home 3 years ago, just 20 miles away from where I live). Severe autism. It's dreadful for my mother because of the sheer difficulty in raising both him and me, but we've all settled in now.

In fact, he visited us this weekend and he's in the house at this minute.  :)

Good to hear, man. No autism in my family, but I do have a great-aunt and uncle who are deaf.

OK, you convinced me. I have only one son, and  he will still be the only one. Otherwise, there would be 50% of probability to give him a sister.

Careful what you wish for, your only son might turn out to be like Burkey! ^_~*

What's it like to have a sister?

Take a badger.

Give it rabies.

Glue some angry bees to it's back.

Cuddle.

Wait... what the hell am I talking about?

Yep, that's pretty close.

And I have TWO.

My sister is adorable, I love her to bits. She´s six years and absolutely hilarious. We have a great bond, it´ll be interesting to watch her grow up over the years :)
