Edoropolis Emporium

Just a quick announcement to let people know the Nihonbare board has moved due to the fact that our old host wanted to stop hosting private boards.  The new board uses pretty much the same system as EE, so it's a big improvement.  Members will have to register again at the new board.  http://64.72.124.71/nihonbare/index.php  Sign up is automatic this time, but I still have to approve the membership  before you'll be allowed to post (this is for spam prevention).

For those of you unfamiliar with Nihonbare: Edoropolis is an "all ages" board and everyone pretty much gets along here.  We don't allow "Hentai", we don't talk about yaoi/yuri stuff, we don't discuss the characters' sex lives or other things that might offend people.  And that's the way it should be, because EE is one of the few internet message boards I've seen that doesn't have a bunch of people flaming and insulting each other, and fighting over stupid topics.  People might disagree on certian topics, but in the end we all get along here as fellow SPC/KNT fans.

However, I also support letting people talk about what they want, so I modified my old message board that wasn't being used into a place where people who want to post those topics can do so without bothering the people who don't.  That keeps everyone happy.

Now I'd like to join, but I'm not 18 years old.  I really don't want to lie about my age, but I also don't want to miss out on the topics there.

I can't really help you there.  Personally, I wouldn't care, but that's a legal matter and I don't want to take chances.  Just wait.  All the old posts should still be around in November.  Currently, there's nothing "adult" there anyway.  The old Nihonbare board averaged 1 or 2 posts a week.


Anyone who signs up should get an email once you've been approved, but it might end up in your spam folder, or maybe it just doesn't always work.  But I have been approving people and I've been checking for new members twice a day.  So if you haven't got the email and it's been a while, just go and try and sign in.

Sounds interesting, maybe that would be a place where I could use the extreme violent characters I can’t use in normal roleplay...

Well, it would be allowed, but Nihonbare doesn't have any RP boards right now, so you'd need to find someone else interested to get a group started there.

Sorry for procastrinating, but I guess I could sign in and see what happens.

I have also signed up but as of yet, still waiting for Vi to accept me into the fold. It's a good idea though, I mean Edoropolis is pretty innocent in regards to more "adult" nature but sometimes, it can be good just to unwind.

This forum will primarily be an SPC/KNT forum, right? Or is it generally for anything?

You should have been approved already.  It usually doesn't take long.  If you don't get an email saying your account was set up, the spam filter probably got it, so just go try and sign in.

Yes, Nihonbare is a KNT/SPC board, and I suppose Eto Rangers topics would be fine too.
