Title: Marco's works Post by: Pizzacat on May 03, 2007, 08:51:56 pm As you have laready guessed this will be an area here to house and showcase my SPC related works, whenever they may come along. Well enjoy your stay :3
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Here I did a redesign one this ol Samurai Pizza Cat fan character of mine http://ic3.deviantart.com/fs9/i/2006/069/d/9/Wingz_Unleashed_by_pizzacat.jpg For those who somehow haven’t noticed he’s a beetle, either an atlas or hercules beetle. He hasn’t got much in the way of flashy super moves and special attacks, all he’s got going for him is freakishly horrible strength and dexterity meaning he’s very, very hard to even knock down. His weapon there is club that when the handles buttons are pressed the weapons detaches by a length of chain to become a deadly 500kg flail, which can also be used for ranged attacks. He has no wings though they were destroyed many years ago in battle so instead under his shell is a concealed weapon rack, this club being one of the many. XP yes he is a villain. Title: Re: Marco's works Post by: Pizzacat on June 20, 2007, 05:11:50 am A talented artists on DA, 14-Bis recently asked me to participate in his volley ball art challenge, mostly dedicated to famous toon girls and such, he asked that I do Polly Ester for it which I did.
I kept her helmet cause I said part of the requirments were that on their clothing should be something to tell the viewer what show the character is from, also a vollety ball and beach scenery had to be included. I also keep her helmet on because all though we SPC fans know all the characters off by heart for people who just barely rember SPC the thing that tells them the most that its a SPC character that I have discovered is that it the helmets they wear that reminds people of who and what it is. So for Polly and the other SPC the helmet is kinda part of their identity. Also I threew in her sword sorta for indentity purposes as well and also seeing as how there's gonna be a collection of villians on the other team things are gonna get out of hand very quickly like the SPC ep "Wet and WIld Kitties" so the swords also for precautionary measures. Finally with this picture I took a softer approach with the linework and coloring, also I stayed strictly on model with Polly besides maybe with the length of her legs and the size of her pair of...things....but thats debatable among the fandom XD Title: Re: Marco's works Post by: TGLucario475 on June 20, 2007, 02:50:53 pm oooh nice *drools*

It's quite similar to the concept art for another one of those X-Treme beach volleyball video games. You know they're outrageous because they purposefully misspell extreme. Keep up the good work, though. Right on dude. But seriously thanks for that, lol Ive been wanting to get into concept work for awhile, never considered this to look the part till you mentioned it :) Title: Re: Marco's works Post by: Pizzacat on June 21, 2007, 10:54:11 pm A talented artists on DA, 14-Bis recently asked me to participate in his volley ball art challenge, mostly dedicated to famous toon girls and such, he asked that I do Polly Ester for it which I did. So here we see a redesigned all new Excelsior taking out the trash. Also I included the imperial family's crest and such now and put a lot more samurai influence into him.
Still just a very rough sketch at the moment, also we see the return of the 4 eyes design. Title: Re: Marco's works Post by: TGLucario475 on June 15, 2008, 12:17:33 pm looks brilliant

Title: Re: Marco's works Post by: Pizzacat on May 12, 2009, 03:07:00 am Thought Id put my latest WIP of my character Proxy here.
BTW I have entered her into a contest that if she is one of the winners viynl figurines of her will be made, which would be a dream come true for me. And the site rules say once you submit a character let as many people as possible know about it so they can vote. So please I ask that if you could just take a minute of your time to vote on this: http://www.patchtogether.com/?Designs_Details&Id=1240 You will need to sign up but signing up is instant and they send no spam so there's no harm from it, and it'll be helping me out a lot. I don't ask for much ever, and give a lot to the fandom. So I ask could you please help me out here. Title: Re: Marco's works Post by: felineki on May 12, 2009, 11:20:04 pm I see you've done some shading work on that pic since I saw it last. Very nice work. And good luck with the voting. I'd love to see how a Proxy figurine would turn out. :)
