TGL:Radio Ga Ga -

TGL is the short form of, TheGreatLeungdski, Leungd is a mix & match of my full name, Daley Leungsangnam, i used "The Great" as part as "Leungd" & add the "ski" part, to sound more posh xD

Radio Ga Ga, is a QUEEN Song, TGL:Radio Ga Ga i use on only 1 forum

Mine's really simple. It's a condensed form of my real name, taking the first three letters from my first name and the first one from my surname: STEC
In some other forums I added hyphons or dashes between parts of my username (i.e. 'Ste~C'). It had quite a history, too; I used the username since I joined the GameFAQs message boards five years ago!

First username I had was when I  started playing C&C online in 1998. I played as Nod all the time, so I started using the name Scorpion. Since then, I used Scorpion for lazer tag and later for Counter Strike and Day of Defeat in 2000.

I remember, In 1999, I joined a small Pokemon message board. For that I used the name PimpMasterChu. I made one post and then the website closed a week later. That was the first time I tried to make a name for myself on an online community.


In 2001, I started watching a show called BattleBots. One of the robots was called Mechadon. The robot lost its battle and I never saw it again. But the name stuck with me and I used it for Halo and Alien vs. Predator. I joined BattleGroundHalo (PlanetHalo) forums in 2003 and used the name there. After 3 years I got tired of talking with those obnoxious racist fools. I then saw a friend's list of top Cartoons of All Time. SPC was on that list. And now here I am!  :)

I got my name in the porn star name thread of this forum.
Now I use it pretty much everywhere.

The original place in which my user name was fathomed was from a power session of Starcraft:Broodwar, back when it was cool. The coolest unit in the game, other than the siege tank, was the Valkyrie, the anti-air frigate.

Plus it just sounds cool. Valkyrie...

I gained Purrcat when I unimaginatively thought of it when I joined the SPC mailing list of yore. Then I started edoropolis.org with my purrcat@edoropolis.org address. Then everyone I knew started calling me Purr, which is somewhat on par with my personality.

QdK is a lot more interesting, having a history back through my high school era. It came from the fictional word 'qdonk', which should be some kind of exclamation comic book expression like 'POW!'. I guess it should be the sound of some metal hitting another metal object and then hitting the floor. qdonk Expanded into quickdecay, hence quickdekay, and then compressed into QdK as my IRC nickname. I figured if I we weren't speaking anyway, why have a pronouncable name.

Whatever..

Believe it or not, I didn't know that a Tequila was when I came up with my username.  Alas, poor me.

I came up with it at some point during grade 10, after reading To Kill a Mockingbird.  Though it's embarrassing now, the book spoke rather powerfully to me about discrimination, I needed a tag for Warcraft: The Frozen Throne, and felt that I should incorporate the book into it.  The full username was supposed to be Takila_Mokenbyrd, but I shortened it to Takila_Mokenbyr due to length issues.  Eventually, It shortened to what I use now.

I may be looking at a new one soon.  Too many women use it.

My username came from a Ralph Bakshi cartoon.

He's the guy that did the original Lord of The Rings and Hobbit cartoons in the 70's in case you've never heard of him.

The movie that my name came from is called Wizards. The character was this very odd assassin. Watch the movie some time if you can find it.

My username is based from the original computer game called "The Sims" and "SimCity 3000". Anyone remember those games? Well, I once remember reading something on the Maxis - Sims website called "Ksim Radio". So, alas, I added "3000" and I had a name!

Pretty nifty, eh? I feel so proud of myself.  :D

A couple of years ago i was in an anime group where each one of us had his emblem anime serie and a nickname about that serie, obviuly my anime was SPC and my nick was Speedy Cebiche, anyway a couple of days ago I though about think an original name... to make short a long and annoying story I created Reneko cause my real name is Rene and neko is cat in japanese so I just mixed the 2 words and liked the result... I've had some hard periods in my life and cause this I developed a dark side (Like a lot of people), I used to name him doubt but I finally named him Kage (Shadow in japanese)... Now I'0ve grown so much and I've learned to mix my 2 sides so cause this I'm KageReneko...

Hmm... kageReneko also is the name of my animaroid cat counterpart who is in my avatar...

In the Ganbare Goemon fandom, there's a few well-known people with usernames that are basically their real names smooshed with that of a character's. I decided to jump on the bandwagon and got this unique name as a result. Accept no imitations! ;)

Street Slyde? I dunno, was bored so I just picked two random words together. One word doesn't even exsist, I'm THAT cool.

Mine's not very creative, just Adam (first name) plus 808 which is a KNT reference since it was in the extended Ottodokkoi Nihonbare lyrics.

A few years ago, my mates and I wanted to give our profile names in Halo a bit of a Greek feel - so we all named our players after the Greek Gods. I picked Helios (God of The Sun) and I've stuck with it since. Nerdy, but cool to us.

Apollo was the Roman God of the Sun. Zeus was the King of the Gods in Greece, while Jupiter was his Roman version. The Romans pretty much took the Greek Gods, renamed them and made them their own.

My last name mixed with the world I created and live within. Simple enough.

BTW, if you couldn't guess Street Slyde was me, then you're quite oblivious to your forum surroundings and people-identifying.

When I started doing Flash Animation, I gave myself the noobish username of Flash Kid. It's easy to remember so I kept with it.

Mine comes from the combination of the name of the ace pilot squadron that you command in the PS2 game Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, and my age when I joined this forum.
