Edoropolis Emporium

>> It was a sweltering day in Little Tokyo... The sun poured it's rays down upon the students like an oven poured it's rays onto a pizza pie.

Luckily, for the students of Little Tokyo High, the building comes fully equiped with a state-of-the-art Air Conditioning system. It's guarunteed to keep the building at a constant and cool 70 Degrees Fahrenheit... or a 21.1 Degrees Celsius...

Tio: *Wipeing his brou while talking on the phone.* What do you mean replacement parts won't be avalible till 3pm today!? O_O

... That is when it is fully up and running...
Due to an incident with a cherry bomb, a water balloon, and a rock... the AC was in desparate need of repair... and the school was sweltering...

Not a good thing considering everyone has a dress code to follow...

Ms.Anari's home-room class was not fairing well either... considering their room was being toasted to perfection by the sun's blazing rays.
Most of the desks that had been in the sun's light were so hot that you could almost cook an egg...
The students sitting in those desks are standing in the back... trying to keep cool...

Sweat stains are beginning to form on their uniforms... and everyone is drinking a great deal of fluids... Thank goodness for chilled bottled water provided by the school!

Kyo: *Sprawled out on his desk.* @_@... Need... To... Find... Excuse... To... Leave...

TK: *Leaning on a wall. Drank his second cold water bottle since he was sweating profusely.* Whew. Man. It's hot in here. When are they gonna fix those darn ACs?

Desperate in trying to keep as cool as possible -- even though the temperature makes that impossible -- Makoto removes his helmet and waves a flat hand towards his head. Sweat is dripping from his dark hair, his face, and his chin.

Makoto: (This is crazy! Why is Ms. Anari keeping is in this inferno?!)

Ms.Anari: *Fanning herself... Very rapidly...* -=Why heck don't I just let these kids go!? =- Ok... Umm.... 2 Weeks off for the first student to come up with an feasable way to fix the air conditioning...

As he hears this, Mak instantly starts to ponder of a possible way to fix the A/C system, even though the heat and his thinking are bound to boil his brain to a puddle.

T.K.: *ponders himself, but couldn't think of one since he's not exactly a techno wiz.* =I wish I know something about air conditioners, but I'm not much into technology.= *then he glances over to Makoto and sees that he took his helmet off.* =What the....=

Dash: Man, its a good thing grandma got those cases of gatorade delivered from the states...(downs one in an effort to stay hydrated while changing the batteries in his fan). Hey Mak, wanna come over after school and play video games?

Naomi: *Head down on her desk, snoozing lightly* ........

Mak looked over to him, still panting for air. He wasn't certain about it at first, since he had never been to a friend's house before. But, to be polite, he responds, "Sure."

Ms.Anari: *Get's up, and looks outside... looking at the heat-waves...* Soo.... Hot.... *She looks at her students.. an angered look passes over her face... then leaves...* -=It's too hot to yell at them for not thinking of cool ideas....=- *As she turns around... she notices something.... something that solves her class's problem...* O_O Class!!!!! We're going to change our class to a different room... Meet me by the boys and girls locker rooms in like... 10 minutes!!!!

*She runs out the door... then peers back in.*

Ms.Anari: GET MOVING!!! RIGHT NOW!!!

TK: *starts to move to where the teacher said to get to.* =What's the deal? Why are we going to a boys and girls locker room?=

Makoto also stands up, and he looks quizzically at Dash.

Makoto: Why would we be moving our class near the lockers?

Frankly bud, who knows...if it means we don't all start to spontaneously combust Im all for it (downs another Gatorade), I gotta go to the bathroom anyway...

A few minutes later...
Everyone is standing outside the locker rooms... Ms.Anari is nowhere to be seen as of yet...

Kyo: *Sweating profusely...* Do... we know yet as to why we are here? @.@

TK: *looks around.* No idea. Maybe she found a way to cool down.

Makoto: *shakes his head* Me neither. If you ask me, Ms. Anari's acting stranger than usual.

Dash: I think her brain fried like an egg...(chuckles and heads off to use the bathroom)

Ms.Anari: *Comes walking up with 2 large boxes in her arms.* Ok students~! *Tosses the boxes down.* One of the boxes has new swimming suites for the girls, the other one has new swimming trunks for the guys. Get yer size, then get into the locker rooms and get changed!...

*She opens up the female box, and grabs a new swimming suit for herself, then dashes into the female locker rooms.*

Makoto: Swim...trunks? You can't be serious...*steps into the locker room, and tries to hide himself in the most secluded space possible so that he can get changed without being seen*

TK: *grabbed a certain swimtrunks his size. Confused on why she wants them to put them on, but shrugged it off and goes into the locker room to change.* Well......at least we are doing something.

Dash: *comes back and sees everybody grabbing swim suits* I think I know what this means...  :D maybe this time I can do a proper can opener...

Naomi: *Gets a nice two piece suit from the female box* -=Hmm, this should be good ^_^ =- *Heads out to go get changed*

*A few minutes later, Ms.Anari is standing outside in the hallway tapping her foot waiting for everyone to get finished...*

Ms.Anari: For crying out loud... -=What is taking these kids so long!?=- *Mumbles and grumbles...*

Kyo: *Finishes putting his swimming trunks on, and closes the locker he stored his stuff in.* Oye vaye... Either she's flipped or she's got a plan... *Begins walking out of the locker room.* I've got $10 bucks saying she's flipped~!

Makoto slowly steps out in his ocean blue trunks, wrapped in a large towel he found so that his chest is not exposed.

Makoto: (Oh, geez...I don't want anyone to see me like this...)

Naomi: *Steps outside after changing and stands by Ms. Anari* ... -=Quite a slow bunch we have here.=-

TK: *came out of the locker room in his fitting trunks and waits for the next move from Ms. Anari.* Okay then. *Heard Kyo's bet.* Heh. You're on.

Ms.Anari: *Looks over at Naomi... then back.* -=Hrmph... I should've made sure there was only one 2-piece in that box... the boys don't need to look at her!=- *Looks over at Kyo and TK.* What are you two talking about!?

Kyo: *Looks over at TK nodding.* Nothing Ms.Anari... We were just agreeing on a bet~ *His eyes glance at Naomi for a sec... then quickly go to something else.*

Naomi: *Leaning against the wall, towel slung over her right shoulder, waiting for the people to move out.* -=Heh, this will be an interesting event.=-

Makoto comes out, his towel draped over his fleshy chest. Unfortunately, he forgot to bring a spare shirt in case his sweat drenched his first one. So now, he has no choice but to cover his top, hiding it from anyone else's eyes, especially the girl students.

TK: *looks at Ms. Anari.* Yeah. Nothing big. Just between us guys. *then sees Kyo looking at Naomi. Looks and is just bewildered at what she's wearing.* whoa.

Dash: (walks over to Mak) Hey bud, you nervous they are going to find out something about you? Oh and I hope that visor of yours is waterproof (or at least has an option that allows you to swim in it)

Naomi: Are we movin' out or what? I wanna swim! ^__^

Ms.Anari: *Looks at Naomi.* O_o How'd you know that was my plan!?... Dohhh~ Never mind~ *Checks to make sure that everyone's there and accounted for.* Ok then~! *Quickly begins walking over to the door... then stops... and looks back at everyone...* Ok... once I open this door... you're all on your own till we get to the pool... Cause that cement out there is HOTTTT!!! O_O

*She opens the door, and begins madly dashing accrost the hot cement for the pool...*

Ms.Anari: MY FEET!!! OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH~~~~~~!!!! IT BURNS!!!! OH MY GAWD!!! AAHHHHHRRRRGGGG!!!!  AIIIIEEEEEEE!!!

Kyo: O_O.... *Begins running as well, biteing his lip, and bearing the burning pain.*

As Makoto marches with his classmates, the heat grows worse for him because of his towel. He walks across the cement with no problem, thanks to his sandals. Once he reaches the pool, he stands near the fence, hoping that he won't have to actually jump in the pool.

TK: *runs as fast as his wolf feet paws could carry him. But he still felt the extreme heat from the cement.* Oh, oh, oh. Ah, ah, ah. Hot, hot, hot. *finally reaches the pool area and went to where a shade should be.* Whew. Oh, man. I ain't doing that again.

Naomi: *Does a hop, a skip and a light jump and easily clears the distance from door to door* Ahhh, no problem. *Walks into the pool area.*

TK: *Saw Naomi did what she did. Is just bewildered at that.* Whao. How the heck did she do that?

*Both Ms.Anari and Kyo end up at the Pool... soaking their scorched feet...*

Ms.Anari: Ahhhhh~~~

Kyo: Oooohhhhh....

*Then... a young girl's head bobs up between Kyo's soaking feet...*

Kyo: O_O.....

Girl:.... *Screams.* EEEEKKKK~! YOU PERVERT! *Punches Kyo in the gut.*

Kyo: HUH!? *The wind is knocked out of him... and he falls into the pool.*

Ms.Berry: *Comes running up.* Say~! What's going on here?

Ms.Anari: May~!?

Ms.Berry: Anari? What are you doing here!?

Ms.Anari: I'm here to teach class~ What're you doing here!

Ms.Berry: *Sighs* I'm here teaching PE... You know... I'm the PE teacher~

Ms.Anari: Good~! Then you guys can go PE Over there, and we'll swim over here~!

Ms.Berry: *Shakes her head.* I'm sorry, but you're all gonna have to go inside. The other pool's being used by Coach Miniac~

Ms.Anari: WHAT!?

Kyo: *Blub.... blub.... blub.......*

TK: *Gets to Kyo as he's underwater. Pulls him up.* Here we go. Ya gotta be careful, bud. Always look before you go in.

Naomi: The pool's already in use? Aww, dammit.. *Sulks away.*

Makoto: (I think I should get out of here...) *starts to sneak away from the pool, hoping nobody is looking*

Ms.Anari: *Pushes TK and Kyo away, sending Kyo tumbling back into the water.* *She then turns to those who begin to leave.* HOLD IT!!!

*She walks up to Ms.Berry...*

Ms.Anari: May... You're just worried that my students'll beat yours aren't you?

Ms.Berry: *Sighs* Anari... You can't be here because you're not schedueled to be here. Besides, your students are missing a valueable edu~

Ms.Anari: Ah~HAH! Chicken~ Chicken~ May is a chicken~!

Ms.Berry: *Sighs*... -=This is gonna be one of those days...=-

"Is there a problem Ms.Berry?"
*Coach Miniac comes up from behind... his students following him...*

Ms.Berry: Oh nothing Mr.Miniac. Ms.Anari's just prepareing to leave...

Miniac: Wait a minute... *Walks between the two...* How about this... we have a little compedition? *Looks to the students.* What do you think kids? Do you wanna compete in the pools~?

Mak looks at the teachers nervously, afraid that they will force him to remove his towel. He has shown himself as a human before, but since there are girls, he would feel embarrassed if any of them saw him shirtless. Now, he sits by the fence, looks down to the ground, and leans his head against that fence.

Naomi: Sounds fun, what are we doin'? I'm in!

TK: *been pushed aside and landed on the ground on his but.* Oof. *Gets up, but then he heard that there is going to be a competition.* Wait. What?

Dash sees Mak sitting on by the fence, gets out of the pool and walks over to him. "Hey Makoto, something the matter? you have been lookin awful nervous ever since we left the classroom." then he stoops down next to him and whispers, "Look if you are afraid that people are going to freak out because you think youare going to expose your identity, don't worry..." Dash ran back into the locker room and came back with a rolled up object. "here is a t-shirt, you can wear it while you swim. Your secret is safe with me. besides, we have been through some crazy adventures before. I feel like I owe ya one."  8)

*Most of the students are estatic about the idea, smiles and cheers can be heard all around...*

Ms.Berry: *Sighs, shakeing her head, and smiling.* Ok~ ok~ You win. We'll have a small swim-meet. Our 3 classes against eachother~ ^_^

Ms.Anari: *Smiles brightly, her eyes glistening with anticipation...* And the class that wins get's treated to a free taco dinner~! :D
EVERYONE INTO THE POOL~!

*As she shouts this, sides of the pool become filled with students from both classes... While Coach Miniac and Ms.Berry just stare at Anari with dumb looks on their faces.*

Miniac: O_o -=I don't have the cash to pay for a class's taco dinner!=-

Ms.Berry: *Places her hand to her head.* -=I should've known that Anari would try something like this...=-  U_U

Miniac: Ok then... *He blows his whistle at the students.* Listen up~! Keep the 3 center lanes fully clear! Anyone who enters into the lanes while a compedition is in progress will automatically forfeit his teams compeditor for that round! Are we clear on this~?!

*The students all nod and voice their agreements.*

Ms.Berry: *Turns to Miniac and Anari.* Ok then~ We'll start off from alphabetical order...

Ms.Anari: Ya ya ya~ sure~ sure~ sure~. ... Just give my students and myself some time to enjoy the water.... err... get used to the water...

Miniac: Doh~ suck it up Anari~!

*His words fell upon deaf ears... Ms.Anari was allready in the pool, splashing water around.*

Ms.Anari: YAY! WHOOO HOO! YIPPEEE! YAY!!!!

Ms.Berry: *She sighs.* Just humor her Bob. Let's get in there and start getting out line-ups set up~ ^_^

Miniac: *Smerks and nods.* You're just way to permissive with Anari~

*Both teachers get in and begin getting their swimming lineups ready.*

Makoto takes the shirt and quickly puts it on. He takes off his towel, and lets out a relieved sigh.

Makoto: Thanks, Dash, though I'm the one who should return the favor. Now, let's get in line before we get caught. *hurries back to the crowd of students*

Dash: HEY WAIT FOR ME!!! *hurries over and gets in a spot that will allow him and Mak to be on the same team*

Kyo: *Wading around in the water... enjoying the cool feeling.* Ahhhh~ Now this is the life...

Naomi: -=I could swim circles around anyone here! We're a shoo-in.. Unless I don't get picked to swim of course O_O=-

TK: *dunks his head in and gets out. Shakes his head as he felt the nice cool, refreshing water around him.* Ahhh. This is great. =Though I still can't believe that Ms. Anari got us into a water competition.=

*After a few minutes of swiming and dunking around, the teachers begin getting their students lined up...*

Ms.Anari: Ok kiddies~ The 2 fuddy-duddies over there have told me we're going to do this alphabeticaly... *She lists off the positions the students are in the compedition...*

*The current order is as follows...

Ms.Anari: *She looks at all her students with star-y eyes.* Are there any questions my dear class who's gonna help their teacher eat for free cause if they don't they'll get Extra Extra homework~? *Flutters her eyes.*

(I know we're missing some people. So I'm giving you guys till Sunday to say if you're in or out.)

(OOC: You KNOW I'M in bud. I was a swimmer in high school and you know Im going to translate my abilities to my character)

TK: *ponders on this decision.* =Hmm. If I do this and win, we'll get free tacos. But, if I don't, I'll get extra homework. Hmm. I would certainly like to eat free food and I defenetely wouldn't want any extra homework. Eh, what's to lose.= Okay. I'm in.

Naomi: Sure, sounds good, I'll just wait around until it's my turn.

Dash: I AM SO IN! *starts stretching* (Man let's hope I can still rip like I did in America)

Makoto: I guess you can count me in, too. *raises his hand to volunteer*

(^^; Tis good to know you're all in folks. Just to let you know, you didn't need to have your characters say they were in. The fact that they were in is non-negociable. However those who aren't here to control their characters have now defaulted controll over to me.)

Ms.Anari: *Gives her students a look... then laughs.* Oh~ you silly children~! You never had a choice of whether or not you were in~! The race is mandatory~! OOhhhh~ hoooh~ hoooh~ hoooh~

*Coach Miniac's whistle can be heard.*

"Clear the 3 middle lanes! Would the first 3 contestants show up over by Ms.Berry!"

*3 students from each class line up on the cement at the upper edge of the pool...*

"Come on people! Clear the lanes!"

Ms.Anari: *Looks at her students.* Ok folks, let's cheer on our student from the sidelines~!

*The students move out of the way... and the race begins...*

Makoto: *folds his arms and arches his eyebrow at Ms. Anari* (Why did I have to be stuck with a weird teacher like her?) *looks over to the first competitors while he waits for his turn*

*The race begins... At first, things appear to be going good for Anari's classmember.*

Anari: *Jumping up and down, shouting.* Whooo~! Yeah! Go Aida Ameko~! GOOO!!

*The crowds shouted, and cheered... that's when Ms.Berry's student kicked into high gear...*

Anari: What the!? O_O Hey! That's cheating!!!

*Unfortunately it wasn't cheating to have an otter in your class... who also happened to be part of the school's swim-team...  And as quickly as it had been shouted, the first race was allready in the bag....*

Miniac: And the winner of the first round in the relay is Ms.Berry's class by Tachi Ameriko~!

*Cheers could be heard from Ms.Berry's class... while Coach Miniac's class clapped and lightly cheered...*

Anari: *Grinding her teeth... a look of anger in her eyes...* No... good... mumble... *Grinding her fist into her palm...*

TK: *Saw the whole race. Starts to have second thoughts on this.* Whoa. Maybe this isn't a good idea. *at Kyo since both of them are next to each other in line in the race.* You up to this, man? Cause I'm not so sure.

Makoto, now with widened eyes, is surprised at the way the otter dominated the competition.

Makoto: *whispers to Dash* Are you sure you can beat him?

Kyo: *Turns to TK.* Better question... *Points to Ms.Anari whose back is turned.* Do we have a choice?

Yeah I can beat him. We I raced a few like him in the US. In fact, I had an otter as a teammate on my club team. We would draft off each other during workouts.

Makoto: [interested] Really? I never thought you were part of a swimming team back there.

Oh yeah...we were a pretty stout team. Consistently top 10 at meets. I was one of the fastest sprinters on the team (did swim distance a couple times but I prefer sprints)

*Coach Miniac's whistle can be heard.*

"Would the second 3 contestants show up over by Ms.Berry!"

Ms.Anari: *Gives her students a look...* Ok... ok... 1 down... we're not a lost cause yet... *Looks around.... panic starting to show on her face.* W....Where's Taki!? O_O

(2 day count starts now. If Leamur does not show up by Friday Morning, I'll take over Taki for the moment. KZ~)

*The next few races fly by... Taki does a decent job... but 2nd doesn't bring home the price money... or tacos in this case... Thankfully the next 2 students from Ms.Anari's class took care of putting the class in first. Next up was Jack... also who was missing.... for the moment...*

Coach Miniac: Black!? Jack Black!... Where are ya~!?

Then next few races move along quickly...
Jack maintains Anari's lead...

The next race is lost... and goes to Berry's class....

After that... things seem to be going great for Anari's class with another win...
... Then... just as the team was about to win another victory... one of the classmembers was pushed out into the lanes...
The race was nullifyed... and loud protets echoed through the pool...

Especially from Anari...
(Get ready Am, you're up next. ^_^ )

Makoto stands between his two opponents, and he looks at each one before he prepares to dive.

Makoto: (Well...here goes nothing...) *bends over, standing attentively...*

Anari: *Screaming from the crowd.* You'd better win~! Or else it's extra homework~!

Some students moan and groan...

Anari:... For everyone!!!

All attention is now on Makoto... He stands next to a young panda guy, and a older wolf girl...

Miniac: Ok... On your marks... *Holds up a starter pistol...* Get set...
....
...
...
...

*BANG* GOOOOOO~!

Mak leaps into the pool and starts stroking. He tries not to stroke too fast, or else he'd use up his strength and exhaust himself. so, he takes some normal strokes, and he is kicking the water for propulsion. He doesn't bother to look at his opponents; he's just focusing on the goal ahead of him.

*The race continues... Makoto continues to blare on as quickly as he can... He's the first to reach the middle of the pool.*

Wolf Girl: *Splash* Give it up! *Splash* You two! *Splash*

TK: *looking on into the race.* Come on, Makoto! Come on! *sees the wolf girl racing beside him.* =Hmm. That wolf girl in there is not bad looking though.=

Dash sees how close the race is
Come on Mak! Pick up your stroke! You can win this one! You got a lot of people pulling for you!

As Dash says this Mak pulls out to a bit more of a lead

Makoto just keeps on stroking, not letting his rivals discourage him or break his fighting spirit. He just keeps reaching and swimming for the goal.

The race is in the favor of Makoto as he reaches the other side of the pool and turns around.
The croud continues to cheer... Ms.Anari is estatic....

As he nears the half-way point in the pool... the other swimmers begin to catch up... nearly at his heels...

Kyo: Come on Mak! They're right behind you! Hurry it up chief!

TK: *cheering his heart out as Makoto seems to be winning.* That's it! Come on! You can do it, Mak! Come on!

Dash: C'mon Mak, stroke all the way to the wall! You can do it!

Upon hearing encouraging words from Kyo, T.K., and Dash, Makoto is urged to keep on going. So, he starts kicking his legs more rapidly, and he fore-strokes faster, gritting his teeth along the way to the goal.

As they pass under the flags for the last time, Mak has about a body length lead on his two opponents. Ms Anari's class is going absolutely berserk! Dash is off in another lane swimming some warmup laps before his race, but he can see the race going on and cheers for Mak all the more.

Jack Daniel Black, a black cat boy, stands outside the building. His mind is a puzzle, his body is full of scars. The day is hot as hell, but he doesn’t notices it, is like he has suffered a great shook or something. He knows no one there knows him, he only was there for a few days. But still…he has to go in. It doesn’t matter ninjas had him kidnapped, it doesn’t mater he may be crazy because of the things they did to him. Why? why they just didn’t kill him? he doesn’t understand. Even the crazy things that happened while he was in Little Tokyo High where nothing compared to what the ninjas did to him. He tries to focus, what he was going to do? Oh yes. He has to go inside and talk to the one in charge, show him a letter from his dad.

-Maybe they didn’t even noticed I wasn’t. Like in all the other places I was, that’s something weird . My dad hires a double or something? Nah, that’s stupid- thinks Jack and enters the building. What? no one there? A janitor looks at him surprised..

Janitor: Hey kid, you already changed?, I thought the swimming competition was still on!.

-What?- he says confused-. A swimming competition?

PS: I know it doesn’t make any sense, but get over with it.

(Oh~ I'll get over it... In my own way of course. ;) )

Jack's letter turns into a used jar of peanuts...
The world swirrls around him... wierd distorted faces flickered around him...
As well as comments about "Wedgies... Peanut butter... and a fat guy named Fudgy Gwap Gwap."

Then total blackness envelops him...
With a burst Light, Lightning, and Flatulance... Jack finds himself in the pool with his fellow classmates watching Makoto race.

Anari: *Looks down at Jack who is in the pool with the students and with her at the present moment in time.* Hey! Keep cheering! I think that Macgyver kid can hear us! *Keeps cheering Makoto on.*

Within moments... the race is over...
Makoto has succeeded in keeping the lead for Anari's class.

Cheers and claps could be heard... as well as dissapointing moans from the other classes...

Kyo: Whoo! Good work!

Jack is confused, maybe he had food poisoning or something?. Wait...he doesn’t know how to swim!. But…the pool is not deep where he is, so he doesn’t drown.

-I guess I’m getting crazy…or this school is weirder than I thought- he thinks. He looks at his body, it has no scars, maybe he just need that two men  in white send him to a…

*He faints, maybe it was food poisoning after all…

GLU GLU GLU….

Mak let out a sigh of relief, glad that the race was over, and he felt good about himself and his victory.

Makoto: That panda didn't stand a chance...but, the wolf was a fast swimmer.

Strangely enough, no one has still noticed that Jack fainted and is swallowing water from the pool…

Dash had just finished another lap of the pool when he saw Jack. "OH MY GOSH!" He cried out as Jack passes out and ends up face down in the pool. Dash quickly swam over and grabbed him then took him to the side and began trying to revive him.

After hearing Dash's sudden shout, Mak immediately runs over to him.

Makoto: What's wrong -- *gasp* Is he alright?

Jack apparently passed out and was starting to take on water (gets a bit of a chuckle at likening him to a ship for a second), Im trying to get the water out of his system. We may need to do CPR...I know how to do it but I may need someone to help with rescue breathing...Mak ready for a crash course?

*Dash immediately takes over and sends students to get help*

As he watches Dash run off, Mak starts pressing his hands into Jack's chest and against his diaphragm, in attempt to force the water out from his lungs.

Jack throws a lot of water out of his system and coughs a little.

BUARGGG!!!!

-Uh, what happened to the thug?, is everyone out of the auditorium? And hat happened with the brainwashing thing?. And man that book tasted like…you know what.

Jack notices that everyone looks at him like he was crazy or something…

Dash comes running back and he sees that jack is conscious and alert. "Good stuff...thanks Mak. Might want to get him to a hospital just to be sure. *points to a student* Hey can you talk to the principal and see if someone could arrange a ride to the hospital for jack? We want to make sure that nothing was damaged from all teh water he took in."

(I'll post later-on tonight folks. :) I'm kinda buisy at the moment. Keep it going if you wish, an I'll take care of loose ends when I get back. KZ~ )

*Ms.Berry notices the ruckas over by Anari, and rushes over there.*

Ms.Berry: Out of the way... OUT OF THE WAY... *Waves over at Coach Miniac.* BOB! Get over here!

*The teachers look Jack over... Ms.Berry Keeps an eye on him.*

Ms.Berry: Bob, get the nurse's office over here. EVERYONE MOVE AWAY~

After a few minutes, Jack's taken away by the nursing staff and school physician.
Ms.Berry stands out in front of the pool... hands on her hips... and a stern look on her face.

Ms.Berry: OK~! Here's how it's gonna go. I want you all to have fun! But if 1 more student almost ends up like that one did, then this is all overwith! Comprende!?

Everyone nods and acknowledges...

Miniac: -=Can't figure out how the dang kid was drowning... he did good on his pass, and he was only in waist-deep water...=- =\

Next up was Kyo...
He dived into the water... and began paddling as fast as he could...

Kyo: *Comes up for air... and goes back under again...* -=Go~ Go~ Go~ Go~

Things are going great till the return lap... When Kyo began to cramp up.

Kyo: AACKK! *He stops, and turns around... floating on his back...* CRAMP! CRAMP!

Ms.Berry dived in and got Kyo out on time... And helped him to a shaded bench up on the ground...
And thus the race was over... and went to Ms.Berry's class.

Jack is in the nursery…

-So, any idea of what is wrong with me Doc?-

-Not yet- said the doctor-. We are going to make you some exams, now get naked!

TK: *Went over to Kyo.* Hey, man. You alright?

(Sorry. Didn't see that.)

Dash, having seen Kyo cramp up in his race, thought to himself "man, I hope that doesn't happen to me in my race. Hopefully I am woarmed up enough. I haven't done any competitive swimming in a good few months." Dash goes off to an area away from the pool and lies down to meditate and focus on the race ahead

(Nope! =D It's not over till I say it's over. Kyo's race is over, we're now up to the next participant in the race... Taka Koshiro!!!)

TK: *looks over to the pool and realized that it's his turn.* Oh great. Well, I guess it's time for me to get wet. *goes over to where the start of the lanes are and where the other participants are getting ready.*

Coach Miniac: Ok folks! Let's get this swimmin goin!

*He pulls out his starter pistol, and pulls the trigger...*


KAPOW!

*And the race begins.*

TK: *dive into the pool and swims as hard as he could in order to try to beat the other two students in the other classes.* =I can do this. I can do this.=

The swimmers swim kneck an kneck as they near the other end of the pool....
The students are feeling the burn... The cool/burning sensation of swimming in the pool...

Student1: Give up you two!

Student2: You both give up first!

*Both are splashing widly, trying to mess the others up.*

*In the nursery...*

Jack has been sitting on a table... naked... for the past 20 minutes...
The Nurse has told him to put cloaths on... the doc has told him to take his cloths off...
Needless to say, it's getting old.

So, the nurse and doctor have begun to run tests... they've taken blood, hair, skin, and finger nail samples from him...
They've also begun testing various compounds on him...

TK: =Why don't they both just be quiet.= *starts to swim faster and pushes himself more in the lead as the other two argue. But he's starting to feel tired.* =Can't give up now. Too much is at stake here.=

They all make it to the other side, and begin swimming back towards the other....
The race is kneck - n - kneck...

When... one of the swimmers began to leap ahead...

Jack is getting really nervous, well at least they haven’t make him sign a strange contract, at which point he would surely run away scared, naked or not…

TK: *spots one of the swimmer beginning to pull ahead. It's a young deer. He begins to swim very hard to prevent that.* =Oh no you don't. Not this time.=

Dash: does not notice any of the action because he is off meditating. praying and reading his Bible before his race

TK makes a valiant effort, splashing forward with all his might...
Unfortunately... the other racer was too fast...

The race ended... Ms.Berry's team was now tied with Anari's...
The pool was bubbling with rivarly... well... mainly it was Ms.Anari doing the bubbling...

Anari:*Her head half-outa the water... blowing bubbles in anger...* Mmmmsbbbrrbblll

Kyo: *Gives TK a thumbs up.* Oy chief... ya did good... *Winces at his cramped up leg.*

Makoto: Are you alright? *he asks, looks at Kyo, then down at his injured leg* I think we should take him to the hospital room.

(Umm, TK's leg isn't cramped. Kyo's is. TK is totally fine. ^_^)


The next race was quick... Needless to say, Coach Miniac was getting rather upset that his class hadn't won at least once.... Not to mention the fact that there was an error on the score board...
So... with the sweetest of words, and the most gentle of harsh encouragement... his class sped ahead, and won the 12'th race.

... And now... came the 13'th race...

Coach Miniac: *Growling.* OK~ Racer's up to their starting points! *Eyes his class.*

(my bad ^^; i just corrected my last post)

TK: *At Kyo. (swims up to him.)* Yeah, but I still lost. Hope Ms. Anari won't punish me for this. *At Makoto.* He's fine. Just a little cramp. I still can't believe I lost. I thought I had it. Dang it.

Dash (finishes reading and meditating) well, looks like my number's up. (runs into bathroom and changes into his old racing suit and puts his trunks on over it).

Ms Anari: I will defend the class honor as best I can! (Goes through final stretching amd warmup)

Anari: *Stops stretching.* ... What am I talking about! O_O *Jumps back into the pool, and waits around...*

Miniac: Ok folks! Get ready!

Dash: *takes off his trunks and steps up to the start*

Mak watches Dash step up to his position, and nods to him.

Makoto: (Don't lose your confidence.)

Coach Miniac looks at Dash...

Miniac: -=Wow... never saw one of them before...=- On yer marks... Get set... GO!!! *He shoots off his starter pistol, signaling the start of the race.*

Everyone in Anari's class began cheering... "Go Dash! Gooo!"

Ms.Anari: *Shakes her head.* Woah... wierd dream... O_o

(Dash, I never thought you were a perv~ Just thought you were tryin to do somethin different, and I just didn't read. My appologies.  :-*)

Dash moves quickly through the water, his arms moving rhythmically one...two...three...four...breathe...two...three...four...breathe...

He has pulled out to about a body length lead as the rest of the class cheers him on

Makoto crosses his fingers, and tightens them.

"Come on, Dash...come on..."

Dash keeps right on stroking one...two...three...four...breathe...two...three...four...he deftly somersaults in the water and pushes off the wall at the end of the pool and begins his rhythm again one...two...three...four...breathe...two...three...four He has about a two length lead as the other swimmers make the turn

TK: Come on, Dash. You can do this. Don't screw this up.

Dash can hear the cheers every time he breathes and his heart began to beat faster, his arms stroked more rapidly, his feet kicked faster and he did not stop until his hands touched the wall where he started. He looked up and saw that he had won and he just laid back in the pool. He was excited, but he wanted to save his excitement for after he had gotten out of the pool.

As well as Dash had done when he swam back in the states, he knew that this was a different feeling. You see, Dash was on a fast team, but he had never actually won a race of his own. He had come close a few times. but never been able to get that last bit of speed to win. As he was laying back in the pool, a huge smile came over his face , and as the emotion of the situation finally started to kick in, Dash let out a loud...




WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!

Coach Miniac growled and grumbled...

Miniac: Winner.. Anari.... *Another mark is put on the board.* Ok... Next...

*The school bell rings... indicating it's lunch time.*

Berry: The Next race 30 minutes after lunch. You all go ahead and get some grub.

Anari: What!? Noooo~ way. I'm sitting right here in this pool! *She starts splashing around the water.*

Dash: Man, what  way to go into lunch. Grams is definitely gonna want to hear about this. Hey Makoto, you think we got time to run over to the Pzza Cat and avoid the potentially hazardous material they serve in the cafeteria?

*Jack appears behind Dash

-Hey that’s a great idea, can I join?- asks Jack

TK: *goes off on his own to the cafeteria, since he brought his own lunch.* =Finally. A break from all this competition.=

AHHH!!!! (grabs chest) dude jack you scared me. But sure, you can come too

Jack: Great, I hope they have pizza with catnip there.

They can make just about any kind of pizza you can imagine. Frankly anyhting is an improvement over cafeteria food (chuckles) Hey Mak, let's go!

He nods quickly as he goes with Dash to the cafeteria.

Cool, Im sure SPeedy and the others wouldn't mind hearing about how we did in our races (grabs Jack who grabs Mokoto and they all slip out a side door in the hallway and head over to the Pizza Cat Pizza Emporium)

-Who is this Speedy dude?- asks Jack-. One of the samurai pizza cats?, just joking, no way you can know one of those feline heroes^_-.

Dash: there are so many things you don't know about Makoto and myself...(explains story of how he met the Pizza Cats) Im feeling partial to a pizza with lots of meat. How bout yourself Mak?

Makoto: I haven't tasted so much meat in my life! I've had fish, ramen, and shrimp before, but not beef or chicken!

Jack: Then I guess you want to try so you know how its tastes, right?. I want a Pizza with lots of catnip!.

As the 3 friends venture past the cafeteria nearing the exit from the building, they find Principle Tio standing in the doorway watching some gentlemen climb up on the roof.

Tio: *Looking upwards.* So~ *Wipes his brou* How long is it gonna take to get that AC installed!?

Worker: Err... I'd say about another 4 hours.

Tio: O_o... *Wipes his brou again.* Son of a... *He turns around, and notices the 3 students still in swim-wear.* Oh... Hello there gentlemen. What can I help you three with?

-There is a wild male monkey inside the girls bathroom, you better call the police or something- said Jack, took his “friends” hands and ran towards the pizzacat emporium taking them with him.

Meanwhile inside the girls bathroom:

Monkey: OOOKKK~! OKKKK~! Oooookkk! (Dam bustards!, the returned home and leaved me trapped in this primitive planet)

It is unkown how... but Principal Tio is waiting for them as they enter the Parlor...
Francine Manx is there with an upset look as well...

Tio: *Clears his throat.* Now... I'm sure you gentlemen weren't thinking about eating anywhere else but the school... *His gaze narrows down on all three of them.* You need to be in a higher-class in order to eat out. And I know none of you have reached that level...

Francine: *Tapping her foot, looking at Dash and Makoto.*

***Back at the School***

Loud noises come from the girls bathroom... in the forms of "Oook's, Ahks" and screams.
... Followed by loud crashing sounds...

Kyo: *Walks into the cafeteria on crutches... and sits down by TK.* Say~ Where's *Grunts* Mak an everyone else. I thought you guys usually sat together. ^_^

The lunchroom is surpriseingly cool... as is most of the food...
In the center of the table lay mellon slices, as well as ice-cold pitchers of water.

Kyo: Wow! *He takes a mellon slice, and begins munching on it.* What's with all the good grub?

***In the pool***

Anari: *Floating around by herself... listening to her tummy rumble...* Damn it... I'm so hungry... But I must... be strong. I'm not going in that damn school!!! >.<

Dash: Uh oh...grams is not gonna be happy about this one...

Makoto: Your grandmother's not the only one...*looking at Fran quite uneasily*

Tio: *Clears his throat again.* However... Since you came all the way here and the lunch hour is nearly over... I suppose you gentlemen can eat here for the rest of the lunch hour.

Fran: And after you're all done, you get the FUN way back to school... ^_^ *Points to Dash and Mak* Not to mention after school I've got lots of FUN work for you both to do! ^_____^

Tio: *Nods, smiling.* Yes, yes... Fun. ^_^ Now~ Ms.Manx. I'm hungry. Some pizza if you'd please~

Fran: *Nods.* Say no more~ I'll go hit the floor~  ;] *Walks back to the counter, and punches up their order.*

Aww man...Not gonna look forward to the end of school today  :-[

The...(gulp) "fun" way?  :O

Makoto: *puts a hand on his forehead and shakes his head, imagining how embarrassing this could be*

-Fun way?- thinks Jack-. I don’t like how this is sounding, well, as long it doesn’t involve ninjas or water…man this pizza with catnip tastes great!.

Yeah...the pizza is good at least...Hey Fran, Im surprised Polly hasn't found out about this and whacked Mak and myself with the ol frying pan (as he chomps down on another slice of pizza)

Fran: *Just stares blankly at them.* What do you mean? *She points at an adjacent wall... a table is jutting out partially... it appears the table was forcefully thrown into the wall.*  She's as happy about this as I am. She's workin on her own list of FUN stuff for you two.

Principal Tio listens to Jacks comment about the cat-nip... he sniffs the pizza, and tastes it more throughly...

Tio: Actually... I think this is just parmesan cheese.  ;)

Dash: *gulp* I am really scared now... :O

His eyebrows are raised high, and he freezes.

Makoto: (I have a very bad feeling about this...)

Taiki probed his lunch, after all that had happened recently he was taking no chances.  The guys next to him had no such reservations and tucked in, eager to get something cool inside them.

"You going to eat that?" Omuru the alsation asked eagerly. 

"Yeah, share it if you're not."  Shun the aspiring sumo hare added.

"Of course I am!" Taiki replied.  "You can have my chillied eels if you want."

They all screwed their faces up at his offer.  "If there's anything dangerous there, its those eels!" Yamoto the hawk exclaimed.  "Masahiro took one bite at the beginning of lunch, ran to the bathroom and hasn't come back yet!"  The others sniggered and Taiki warily pushed it to before he finally began to eat. 

The conversation turned to the swimming competion and jokes about how badly Miniac's team were loosing.  As they chatted Sayuri the female wolf sat down right next to Taiki, her feline friends sat down with her.  She give Taiki a discreet smile before taking a mouthful of melon. 

"Hey Sayuri, who do who think is going to win?" Yamoto asked before she could finish chewing her food.

"Aawwarrii..."

"Huh?"

"Anari's class! As long as she doesn't drown herself in excitment.  What do you think Taiki?"

"Hmmm, Ms Berry's class could make a come back.  Or Miniac could just alter the scores or find some way to make his team win!"

.-Whatever, it still tastes great...-  said Jack-. I wonder if that crazy monkey is still inside the girls bathroom…

Meanwhile inside the girls bathroom:

Janitor:  This is the girl bathroom!, now go out!

Monkey: OKKKKK!!!!

Janitor: Hey!, put that toilet down!

*The janitor head is hit by a toilet and he faints. The monkey exits the bathroom and wanders the school…

Sayuri's feline friends were twins, Miharu and Michiyo.  They did not dress the same or do the same things but they talked as one when they were together, which was quite amusing especially when they argued!

"Oh My God!" Miharu began.

"I almost forgot!" Michiyo chimed in.

"There's still one of those space monkeys in the girl's room!" Miharu continued.

Michiyo suddenly turned to her sister, with a surprised look on her face.  "There's a what in the girl's room?"

The others leaned in to see what would happen and Sayuri took a deep breath, readying herself for the mediation she would have to do.

"You know...those creatures that terrorised the school?"

"Wha...Ohhh I remember you saying."

"Yeah you were ill."

"And you were telling me about it."

"And mom was all like..."

"What are you talking about!"

They giggled.  The others leaned back disappointed and Sayuri breathed a sigh of relief.  Some other students had joined the group and after being warned not to eat the eels (which none of them had planned to do in the first place), the usual converstion/arguement began as to who the SPC really were.  Taiki nodded along but was really paying more attention to the two guys at the other end of the table on their own.  One he knew to be Kyo and the other was the American kid, who he wasn't too sure about. 

"Hey where are you going?" Shun yelled over his arguing classmates.  "We need some of your practical theories...the girls are kicking our tails here!"

"Yeah...well, I'm just going down to those guys over there to see if they want to join in."  As one the whole group turned to see who he was talking about.

"Ahh, don't bother with the American kid" Yamoto said. "He's a bit of a loner and a troublemaker at that too!"

"Well you've got to give him a chance."  Taiki exclaimed as he walked to the end of the table.  The others turned back and looked at each other in silence for a few minutes, knowing what he meant by that.  The silence was broken when one of the students asked who was going to win the swimming competition.

"Hey Kyo how's the foot?" Taiki asked as he sat down.  "Do you guys want to come and join us?"

Meanwhile back at the Emporium...


Dash: Well, looks like lunch is about over...time to get what's coming Mak...(slowly heads for one of the ovens)

Makoto: *uneasily climbs into his oven* (I hope we don't crash right into Ms. Anari's classroom. She'll freak out if she finds a hole in her ceiling!)

-Uh, you two are going to be today special or what?- said Jack confused

Dadh: (shouting out of the oven) no...Mak and I will explain back at the school.

***At the Emporium***
Fran: Ohh~ I'm not that mean. ^___^ *She takes Jack, and tosses him into an oven as well.* I am this mean however!

*The oven system locks and loads everyone in place...*

Fran: Now... how should they arrive at school?

Tio: *Looks on the screen with her.* Hmm... *He points towards a bill-board that is beside the pool.* That looks good!

Fran: But... but... what about...

Tio: I need 'em back to school. ^_~

Fran: Ok... But what about~

Tio: JacK? I've got work for him to do at the school.

Fran: *Nods* Ok~

*The cannon whirrs to life... and blasts the three students off... They fly through the air... smack into a billboard, and crash into the school's pool...*

Anari: *Looking wide-eyed at the splashed students.* What the heck!? O_O

*** In the school...***

The space monkey continues walking around... going around a corner...
It feels a tight pair of hands wrap around it's kneck... then it sees a pair of red... searing eyes... and sharp... gritting... teeth...

Miniac: *Growling...* I... don't.... like.... space... MONKIES!!!!

*He takes the monkey to the front door, lightly tosses it into the air... and kicks it in the butt very hard... It can be seen flying high into the air...*

Miniac: AND STAY OUT YOU DANG DIRTY SPACE FREAK!!!

***In the Caffeteria***

Kyo: *Smiles, looking over at Taiki.* The cool ice cream and other foods are sweet! *Nods* Sure, I don't see a problem with that. Do you Tk? ^_^

Makoto climbs out of the pool, and as he does he feels dizzy from their unpleasant trip.

[dazed] "Ooh...my head's spinning..."

Anari: *Looking at the boys... a sheepish grin on her face.* Ohh~ hoh hoh hoh~! What do we have here? You young boys weren't trying to see if your teacher was skinny dipping in the pool now were you?

-Water, lots of water...I’m surrounded by lots of water! - said Jack and...fainted!

GLU GLU GLU!

PS: How many times can this kid get drowned in the same day?

(While in the air)

Dash: Ya know this feels pretty cool...I've always wanted to fly...

Mak: (sees they are about to hit a billboard) although I wouldn't of wanted to land like this...

All 3:  AAAAAHHHHHH!!! 


WHAM!!!

Dash: Now I know how the others feel about Fran's aim...(sees Jack passed out) Not again...(pulls him out of the water and begins CPR) What is with him and water anyway...

Dash: (to Mak) Hey Mak, get the nurse again, Jack passed out in the water and Im tryin to revive him

*Just as Dash finishes speaking those words... the Doctor and the nurses come walking into the pool area.*

Doc: Principal Tio called saying something about injured students? *He looks down at Jack.* Ahhhh~ Mr.Black! He left before we did the laxitive test! Nurses, pick him up and lets go pick up where we left off!

Nurses: Yay!

*The Doc and the nurses pick up Jack, and haul him back to the nurses office, and begin working on reviving him.*

Taiki saw that TK was more interested in his food and he didn't blame him on such a hot day.  "If you guys want to come over the feel free to do so.  Catch you later."  As he got up he ran into his sister, Kazuko.

"Hey Taiki, well done in your race.  I heard you came second!" She beamed.

"Yeah well...I was surprised to get that high with these horns!" He replied modestly.

"I wish we were in the pool!  Old-Leatherback is keeping us in despite it being hotter than the sun in there...he won't even let us take our jackets off!" She took his hand and placed on her back, which was slick with sweat.  "Poor Gakuto passed out!"

"Whoah!"

"I wish had my missiles then I'd blow that darn teacher up!  But Mom says I'm still too young...I'm almost sixteen!"

Taiki rolled his eyes and gave his usual reply of "you'll get them when your ready."

"That's too long though!"  She looked down, miserable at the idea.  After a short pause she added " Mom text me and said we should get something to eat on the way back after school.  You want to go to the Pizza Cats?"

"Yeah sure."

"Ok then, I'll see you after school!" She said with a smile and she went off to join her friends.


(NB.  I know its not good etiquette not waiting for TK, but I wanted to move my char on.  I mean no offence by it and like my char said, you're welcome to join in!)

 

Dash: (sees Jack being carried off) Oh man, I hope he knows what he's got coming...(slips over to the cafeteria and snags a few of the leftovers from lunch) Good thing my locker is so cold so maybe I can keep this stuff til I can get it into the fridge at home before work

-Jack throws a lot of water out of his system

BUARGGG! BUARGGG! BUARGGG!

Then he runs away of the nurse office coughing…again!

Makoto: (That poor cat must be having one unlucky day.) *shakes his head after he watched the medics take Jack into the hospital*

Well he is a black cat...(chuckles as he sees Jack being dragged off by the nurses in a straightjacket)

(Mak didn't say anything, he was just thinking that to himself.)

(I’m not crazy, I’m just afraid of water...) thinks Jack then he remembers…

“Miniac: -=Can't figure out how the dang kid was drowning... he did good on his pass, and he was only in waist-deep water...=- =\”

(I was able to swim? But I don’t know how to swim!. And the scars thing, and …yes maybe I’m crazy).

*Somehow while he was thinking all this, he escaped. The straitjacket is turned to shreds, the doctor and the nurse are fainted, they suffered a severe beat up!.

-I…I did this?- said Jack confused

(OOC: Sorry haven't been there. Other stuff outside with work and what not.)

TK: *notices Kyo sat down next to him at the table. He chews his sandwhich.* Nope. Um....we haven't been hanging out much lately. He never invited me to go anywhere. How's the foot by they way?

TK: *still eating his sandwhich.* Hmm.....not really.

Dash: *sees the aftermath* Whoa...I think Jack needs to go somewhere and channel that anger of his...he lit those folks up like Christmas

(Leamur: Don't sweat it buddy. ^_^ Sometimes ya gotta keep goin no matter what. ;) )
(Andy: Don't sweat it either. Stuff happens, and we can't be here all the time.)


Kyo: *Walks up beside Taki, watching as Taki's sister walks off.* Say... who's that gal?

-So, what’s our next class about?- said Jack-

"That's my sister" Taiki replied with a smile.

Kyo: Really? Cool~

Over-head... the PA clicks online...

"Attention... Students from the following classes will please report back to the pool in 15 minutes... Anari... Mayberry... Miniac...
I repeat... Will the students from Anari... Mayberry... and Miniac please report to the pool in 15 minutes... that is all."

Kyo: O_o... Wow... lunch went by too dang quick!

Anari: *Shrugs at what Jack has just done, and just continues wadeing in the pool...* Ahh~ The easy life~ ^_^

"Yeah, she is!" Taiki answered.  As the announcement was read over the tannoy he cast a bemused glance at Kyo.  "I wonder if they realised what will happen when a load of students who've just eaten try to swim?"  Noticing that the rest of his friends had got up and begun to leave he added, "c'mon lets catch up with the others."

-Why they want us in the pool if we have just eaten?, I don’t think they want more people to get drown today…-

TK: *Overheard the annoucement.* Oh great. *finishes his sandwich and heads off to the pool with Kyo and Taki.*

Makoto: *nods, agreeing with him* He could get in trouble, venting his anger with the wrong people. I guess we should go back to the pool...though we can't jump in too soon.

Ms.Berry: *Standing at the enterance... greeting all students as they come in.* Kids... no swimming. You can wade in the pool, but NO SWIMMING!!!

Coach Miniac stands guard at the edge of the pool... an angered look on his face...

Miniac: I see anyone swimming, or hanging out in the deep end till we say so and I'll make sure you don't swim in this pool till your 50th class reunion!!!

The doctors and the nurses re-group and leave the pool area...
Then go and hide in a near-by set of bushes... keeping an eye on Jack...

Nurses: Doctor... When are we gonna get to keep playing with him?

Doc: As soon as he freaks out again. Now hush! *His glasses gleam in the bushes...*

-Uh...ok, I can’t swim anyway, can I ? - said Jack

Makoto nervously looks towards the coach, then back to Dash.

Makoto: Um...maybe we should step as far away from the pool as we can...

yeah...that would be good...hey I got some comics in my locker. I'll run and get em and we can read while we wait (runs into the school)

Makoto: Sure. What kinds do you have?

He goes along with him to the locker room, just hoping to get as far away from the ticked coach as possible.

Jack follows him and remembers, today the new issue of Swat cats comic is out!.

PS: It would be funny if Swat cats was a TV series and a comic in this RP, right >^_-<?.

Dash: (opens locker) Here we are...(pulls out X-Men, Spiderman, Fantastic Four comics) Yeah I have a whole collection back at my house...and actually I do have a couple issues of SWAT Kats. I have a couple manga as well but I don't have them here with me. (hands Jack and Makoto each a comic book)

*Kage sat out fron enjoying his luch of Beef Rammin until he heard the anouncment on the PA. He lept off the roack he sat on, and threw away his lunch bag as he enterd the school, heading towards the pool. as he walked the halls, Principle Tio walked past him, saying without looking.* No sun glasses indoors, Kage.

*Kage stopped, sighed, and responed.*Yes, Tio-Sensie. *he removed his glasse, revealing his red eye, and pocketed the glasses in his brest pocket, He then continued on to the locker room, where he changed into his pool atire. He came to the pool, seeing the rest of the class was alreay in the water. He approched Ms.Berry and Coach Maniac. apoligizing for being late, and then entered the water with the rest of the class. He saw some students looking at him from across the pol, wispering to eachother, one even doing a quick point at him. He sighed, and wadded by himself in the water.*

He looks at a SWAT Kats comic with interest.

Makoto: [interested] I don't think I've ever seen these before. But, I'm starting to like them already.

*Kage decided he was done, and that he wanted to get away from the stares and wispers for now. He silently sliped out of the pool, the coache's not noticing, and heading back to the locker room, where he came apone Dash and Makoto looking over the collection of comics from Dash's locker.*

Taiki bobbed at the edge of the pool, glad to be back in the cool water.  He half-listened to the chatter of his class-mates around him, some of them where making a fuss of something but all he could see was a guy get out of the pool at the other end.  As he strained to see who it was he felt something wrap around his ankles and pull.  The world suddenly vanished in a blur of bubbles, he thrashed about wildly and quickly got back to the surface.  Coughing up water and gasping for air he heard a familiar laugh and turned to face the culprit.

"YAMOTO!" Taiki yelled

"Hey you snooze you loose! Anyway we're even now." Yamoto smiled.

"I guess so."

"Hey are you ok Taiki?" Sayuri asked with an air of concern in her voice, placing her hand on the small oh his back as she moved up alongside him.

"Yeah I'm ok, we were only play..." Taiki stopped short as he looked at Sayuri, who's two piece swimming costume was a little revealing.  Blushing a little he managed to finish his scentence. "Er...yes we were just playing about, nothing serious!"

"I'll leave you two to it" Yamoto said, winking at Taiki as he swam away.

 

-Its interesting, is about two cats who worked for the military as pilots. But got fired from the active force because of an accident and where forced to work in a junkyard to pay the damages. Then they built a airplane and weapons from some junk and started to fight crime using disguises and calling themselves the Swat cats- said Jack

*Kage listened to the otheres talk comics as he dressed back into his uniform. He wante dto join in, due to th e fact he enjoyed SWAT KATs as well. However, that would only cause some sort of troubel down the road. He threw his jacket over his shoulders, and headed to the halls. He made a turn down the hall that lead outside, his eyes closeds as he thought to himself. There was a loud thump and crash as he bumped into someone heading the other way.*

((who wants to bump into Kage? And if that's not an option, who should Kage bump into?))

Jack Black sometimes has the bad habit of walking while he is reading, he is so focused reading The Swat cats comic that he accidentally bumps into Kage.

BUMP!!!

-Ouch!, sorry, are you ok?-

*Kage looked at him, his red eye seeming to glare at Jack.* Fine. You? *he responded as he stratened his coat.*

Dash: *looks up and sees Kage and Jack* oh hey there. Im Dash. I see you met Jack already. That over there is Makoto. Hey wanna get together and hang out sometime? Id hang with ya today but Mak, Jack and I got into a bit of trouble for skipping out of school during lunch. Whaddaya say? (extends hand for handshake)

*Kage looked at the hand that was extened to him, and took it up in his.* Yes. I would like. Another time, perhaps.

***Back at the pool... ***

Coach Miniac stood by the pool.... watching the students... and his watch...
*Beep beep~*

Coach: OK~ 30 minutes is up! EVERYONE CLEAR THE RACING LANES!

The students clear the lanes... and the 14'th race begins...
The students cheered... yelled... and screamed...

Kyo: *In the pool by Taki.* It's close! I don't think our class-mate's gonna make this one!

Anari: *Cheering and screaming by Naomi.* COMEON! GO GO GO~~~! *Looks over at Naomi.* You'd better win the next race~ I want that free meal! I neeeeeeed~ that free meal~ *Begins begging Naomi.* Pllllleeeeeeaaaaassssseee win the next race so I can get that free meal~

(Naomi'll be next after this race. Right now is a different race.)

Makoto: Um, do you think we should get back to the pool, before we get caught again?

-No, the race thing is stupid, is has lasted all day, besides I don’t like water. But do what you want...I’m going to see if I can find the current evil plot somewhere, bye!-said Jack and disappeared running before one of the teachers could catch him

Dash: C'mon Mak let's go. We got involved in enough craziness today. Let Jack go and get in even more trouble. (grabs a few comics and a magazine or two and heads for the pool)

Makoto: *sighs a bit at what Jack said as he runs along with Dash*

*Kage watched the others take off, and shruged to himself. He then headed out into the school hall, and headed towards his locker. As he put in his combo, he heard a young girl's laugh that made his knees go weak. He stayed perfetly still as a group of girls walked pass him, talking and laughing with eachother, but only one girl in the group caught his attention. As the group turned the conner of the hall, he looked after them, his cheeks a bright red.*

Kazuko...... :-* *he stated dreamly.*

"I guess your right" Taiki groaned. "I just hope Naomi wins the next one, I just don't want to be doing homework for the rest of High School!"

"Don't worry, I think she'll win" Sayuri reassured him.  "I doubt she wants to do that either!"

Taiki smiled and turned back to the race;  it was close but Kyo was right there was no way they were going to win. 


Meanwhile....

"Did you see that guy looking at you Kazuko?" Aki the fox said excitiedly as they rounded the corner and headed towards class.

"Huh..."

"The one by the lockers?"

"Really?  He must have been looking at you or Fujiko or Okimi..."

"You got a boyfriend Kazuko? What's his name? Where did you meet him? What's he like?" Okimi asked in one breath.

"And you didn't tell us?!" Fujiko said in mock surprise.

"Tell you what?  I haven't got a boyfriend!"  Kazuko protested.

"Well he was cute"  Aki added.

Kazuko blushed, she hated talking about boys because she always clammed up which made her seem suspiciously in love.  She tried to protest further but all she could manage was a little whimper.

"Don't worry" Fujiko smiled.  "We won't let those boys get you!"

"Yeah, friends forever!" Aki exclaimed. 

They all laughed as they went into class.

*Reterving the books he needed, Kage decied to finish his homework outside before the next class started. A few turns and two flights of stairs, he was on the roof of the school. He seteled down on the side of the rail fence overlooking the pool, and started to finish his english work.*

Meanwhile Jack was in the auditorium…or what was left of it. The whole place was destroyed, like a fight had took place there.

-Somehow…this is familiar- said Jack

(Don’t worry, is just a reference to a older story, like the space monkey thing, maybe there was some brain washing after all, maybe not, let Kyo fix it. Now, is  great time to make someone get into Jack way, otherwise he will just stay in the auditorium all day).

Dash, has now fallen asleep by the pool and has one of his magazines covering his face. He has no idea what is going on in the pool...not that it mattered much to him anyway, he had already run his race and just wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather. Mak is reading his comics and occasionally snickering.

(Ladies and Gentlemen, things have been very hectic as of late. That's why things have not been moving along in here. I might have some time this weekend to get things rolling again, however till then (And after) you've got 3 choices...

*Kage had finished what he needed to do, and put his homework away. Then, he took a quick glance around the roof, making sure no one else could possibly be there. Once he was sure, he pulled out a sketch pad, and flips throuh the drawings to the one he was curently working on. It was a portart of  Kazuko, surounded by cherry blosums in the wind. Smiling to himself, he pulled out his penceil and begain to draw on it again.*

And so...
The races continued on durring the rest of the day as the sun streamed down upon the students and the professors...
After the final lap had been completed... A winner had been declaired...

... At least that is what would have happened ...

Principal Tio: *Standing at the gate.* Hey!? What the heck is going on here!? O_O

It turns out, that there IS a clause under the school charter... Only PE classes may be in the pool at designated times...
Despite the protests from everyone... especially Ms.Anari... the Taco Cup Relay was through... and no prizes were given out.
Everyone was forced back into the school, where the new AC Units had been cranked to full, and the halls filled with icy-cold air.

The rest of the day ended, and everyone went home... with horrible sun-burns all over their persons...
Oh well... At least they got a day of swimming out of it. :)

*In the Nurse's office.*

Doctor: *Staring at a computer screen.* So... This young gentlemen indeed has what we are looking for?

Nurse: Yes Doctor... He is indeed afraid of the water for some reason...

Doctor: *His glasses glint.* Excelent... Soon my dear Black... Soon you will be my key to fame and fortune!!

Evil laughter filled the hallway... followed by the words "SHUT UP!!!" from Buffy... the Janitor...

*Jack woke up, he had a nightmare about ninja bunnies beating the crap out him over and over again. Then Jack saw he was in the ruins of what once has been an auditorium, something was familiar about it, but he couldn’t remember, so he decided to ditch it and went home. How he got outside with the place closed, was a mystery even for him. Or it would have been a mistery if he had noticed the place was closed, one minute he was in the school and several minutes later he was at home, having dinner alone, with no memories of what happened In between.

Blair: *walked out of the school building, very bored and hungry* Finally I can go home, I couldn't take much more of the swimming. *she strolls home slowly, raining all over her* Grrrr...  Just my lucky day, never!!

(after school.)

Kage exited the school building, and breathed in the fresh air outside. He smiled to himself, but lost the smile when he noticed some students watching him. He pulled his sun galsses from his left brest pocket, and put them over his eyes, starting his journy home. As usual, he walked alone.

Dash saw Kage on his way and ran after him

"Hey Kage!" After he caught up with him, he said, "I see you walk home alone every day. Your house actually is right on the way to where mine is. Need a walking buddy?"

Blair: *walking alone, completely soaked form the rain* S-s-so c-cold...  Almost half way home, hope I don't get sick.

Dash's call as well as his words suprised KAge, and he looked at his fellow classmate for a time, silent. But then, he nodded. "Sure. If it's no bother to you, that is."

Blair: *the rain passes and a rainbow appears in the sky*  This rainbow is sooooo beutiful. *she smiles widely, walking home marrily, no longer cold and wet*

Dash: "Hey, not a problem at all man. Besides, I need to get to knwo more people anyway. So what's your story?" and Dash and Kage headed down the road as Kage began...

"My story? What do you mean?" KAge asked as they walked along.

Blair: *finally home, she tries to open the door, but no one is answering*  Family's out on another tour again, I really hate my life... *she walks aorund the streets aimlessly*

*as he tried to figure out what Dash ment, Kage saw Blair walking the streets. He raies an eyebrow, and stated oddly.* She's alone.

Blair: *bumps into Kage by acident* Oh, so sorry. *she looks up and notices them* Wait, I've seen you guys in school.  *looking at Dash* Your kinda cute. *winks*

Meanwhile, Jack was sleeping peacifully at home, but that wasnt going to last long...

(Andy, words cant describe your “brilliant” mind)

*TK didn't go back to the pool since he decides to skip out on it since he thinks it's stupid. He did returned to classes on the other hand and when the day had finished, he walks out of the school and heads home. But, his home is just almost 6 miles from the school. So, he has a long way to go. As he walks down the sidewalk, he continues to think.*

=(sighs) What a day? The heatwave, the competition, and the tacos. That we never got. Why does everytime we come back here, it seems to get weirder and weirder. I hate my life.=

(OOC: What do you mean by that, BC? I thought you were someone else. Are you?)

Blair: *looking depressed* Brfore you ask why I look so horrible, it's simple.  May family is away on a tour...  You know how rockers can be. *she looks down* Tis horrible I tell ya.

Dash: What's your story? How'd you get to Little Tokyo? Whatever your comfortable telling

Dash blushed..."uhh...thanks...no one has ever said that about me before..." :-[

Blair: *to Dash, with a smile* Well I did.

Dash: Well Blair, your more than welcome to joine Kage and myself. Kage's house is right on the way to where my grandmother lives

Blair: Sure. *smiles* I don't like to be alone much, so I will come with.

Kage silently watched the othet two inteact. As they set off once again, he remembered why he came to Little Tokyo. He hadn't thought about that in a long time.

Blair: My grandparents, they live all the way back in NYC.  I'm also from there, we moved to get away from the city for a while.  but I'm staying here, I love this place.

"I agree with you, Blair." said Kage as he ajusted his sun glasses. "It's an intresting place to be. Espcially with the Ninden Team."

Blair: Yeah. *smiles, then turns to Dash* So what do you like about Little Tokyo?

Dash looked at Blair with some interest. "Well that's interesting. I live here with my grandma and two younger sisters. Our parents died when we were still living in Quebec. We moved out to CA to live with Grams and she thought that we needed a change of scenery. She had a friend that visited Little Tokyo and liked what she heard about it so we moved there. *Dash didn't want to tell Blair about his powers or the fact that he was one of the SPC because he wasn't totally sure how she would react.*

Blair: I came here for another reason also. *giggles* I also came to this land to master the sword gauntlets...  And I have, but not for show, for battle...  So far no luck. *sticks tounge out*  You guys probubly think I'm crazy. *giggles again*

Dash: WOW! I tried those once actually...but I prefer the katana. *goes into a meditative state while they walk and we hear him telepathically communicating with one of the Solaarian elders*

Dash: Should I tell her? Can she be trusted?
Elder: That is up to you Dash. You are at a point in your development that you need to make decisions for yourself
Dash: Well, I do want to tell her, but Im not totally sure what she would think
Elder: Im sure she can be trusted. If you want her to know, then go ahead.
Dash: thank you

*snaps out of meditation just in time to avoid walking into a tree*

Whew. that was close. yeah I learned the katana once I got here. But I did learn something else too...*pulls out umbrella and extends it* (Well here we go)

BY THE POWER OF LIGHT!
Dash is surrounded by a plume of light and soon is covered in his battle armor.

"Kage isn't the only one with secrets you know...and I don't think you're crazy by the way."

Blair: *looks at Dash, likeing how he looked in the armor* A knight in shining armor?  How romantic. *she searches through her bag, she pulls out the pair of sword gauntlets and armor peices, all golden and egyptian style*  Isn't this armor, cute?

Naiye stood at the entrance to the Samurai Pizza Cats palour after once again having his application rejected. He sighed to himself, and turned the music in his earphone up and walked off, brushing his hand through his hair as he looked around Little Tokyo. A small pout appeared on his lips as he began to think about England. Ahh England, home sweet home he thought. Nevermind, he carryed on walking and listening to the latest release from the red hot chili crows.

Dash *sweat drop on his face since he's a bit embarrassed* "Thanks, never been called that before (referring to the knight in shining armor) but yeah yours looks pretty good too." Dash and Blair continued talking while Kage trailed behind a couple steps

Blair: Oh thank you. *she was now outfited with her armor, gleeming like the moon*  So, what are we gonna do since ther eis no more class today?  Wanna hang out?

Because he was awaken by the sound of a giant robot destroying the city, he lived far away from the place that was being trashed, but the sound was loud enough to reach him anyway.

-Great, where are those famous cats in their shining armors that they cant take care of this?-

(REMEMBER!, ONLY THE SAMURAI PIZZA CATS BEAT GIANT ROBOTS, IS DA RULES! AND IM TALKING ABOUT THE REAL ONES, NOT PRETENDERS, SO LETS JUST RUN AWAY UNTIL KYO FINDS THIS, OK?)

If youre askin me out...(which I thought for sure the guy was supposed to do anyway) sure. You like Chinese?

Blair: Yes I do. *she smiles, pictureing how romantic thier date would go* We could go to...  Oh whats the name of that place, Maji-something.

Kage watched the two armored students converse, and with a sigh, fell further behind. It was the same as before. There was always something else.

"Your friends look ready for battle, don't they?"

The voice pulled him from his thoughts. To his left, in a darkened alley, stood a robed figure, who’s face was hidden from sight.

"Perhaps, but that's there own business, not mine." Kage said, and was ready to go off.

"Tis a good thing too, as the battle is coming to them." Kage returned his gaze to the figure.

"Are you treating them?" he asked, slightly changing his footing into a attack postion. The hooded figure chuckled.

"No. I dare not challenge them. They have power they don't even understand. But then again, so do you.* The figure stepped aside, revealing what looked like a set of Ninden armor. "If you only had a way to harness it."

Kage looked at the armor that now stood before him in the shadows. It's primary color was black, with grey grafting here and there. The most noticeable features was the red scarf that was draped around the shoulders, and the forehead protector that beared four crimson eyes. He had never seen this armor before. And yet, he felt like it was made for him.

"The choice is yours, Kage Shinjo." said the hooded figure, pulling Kage from his thoughts. " Will you become the Avatar of Shadow, just as Dash has become the Avatar of Light? Will you take up your destiny?"

Kage was still for a moment, and then, ever so silently, he reached out to the armor. "I choose this path. I choose the shadows."

At that, the armor seemed to mealt into a puddle of darkness, that jumped and slammed int to Kage, covering him from head to toe. Then, the darkness solidified to it original form, and Kage now wore the armor that had been waiting for him for so long. When he turned to the hooded figure, he saw he was alone int the dark alley.

Dash: yeah, the name escapes me at the moment...ah well I'll know it when I see it. By the way...have you seen Kage? He might like to come along too...

Just as Dash mentioned him, Kage appears from a dark alley behind them, but dash for a moment does not recognize him. He strikes a fighting position but when Kage begins talking he recognizes him. "Hey Kage, I didn't know you had armor too...looks pretty stout."

Kage exited the alley, and saw Dash and Blair waiting for them. As he caught up, DAsh looked like he was read for a fight. Kage relized he didn't recognize him, wicth was understandabel due to unlike the other normal Ninden helms, his had a face gaurd.

"Dash, it's me." He spoke as he came to a stop a few feet away, holding his hand out in a stop motion. "It's Kage."

"Hey Kage, I didn't know you had armor too...looks pretty stout."

He looked at his armored hand. "I didn't before just now. Yet, it feels like I was born with it..... Like It's a part of me I lost." He looked to Dash and Blair again. "Tell me...How did you two recive your armor?"

Dash: Its a pretty complex story. I was walking through the woods near my house one day and came across this strange looking thing.  I walked up to it and turns out it was a portal. I stepped in and next thing you know Im on another planet. I met some really nice aliens that were living there and they had called me their "chosen one" so I stayed there for a while and helped them fight other aliens. TO help they gave me this armor. They said its the "armor of light" or something. I did get this other armor in a cave on the planet, but I only use that as a last resort. I got my sword in that cave too." (Dash powers down and rolls his umbrella in his hand before sticking it in a holder on his back)

Kage listened to Dash's story, mulling it over in his head. "Intresting. Well, at least you know how to remove yours." he then proceded to look over for any kind of latch or release switch. "I'm not even sure how I got mine on."

Meanwhile the giant robot (A Duck waitress) keeps destroying the city with no sign of the pizza cats…

-Well, at least Im going to tape this,now... where I left my camera?-

Dash: Hmm...hey Kage, wanna try your new armor out? (whips out umbrella) BY THE POWER OF LIGHT! (Dash transforms into his battle armor) Hey Blair, think that date could wait a few minutes?

Kage looked a bit puzzeled, but then, he heard the sound of screams and destruction, fallowed by the alarm and BAng of the Gun Launcher of the Ninden Team's base. Droping his bag, he turned to the direction of the crashing and yells.

"Lets."

Dash: Hey Blair, you in?

Dash and Kage quickly went over to where the robot was and prepared to fight it alongside the Ninden (SPC). Dash had his sword drawn and ready to attack

The duck waitress unleashes her “No tip attack”

You greedy!, leave no tip? TAKE THIS!!!

*The cats get hit by lots of flying forks

The forks were giant pitchforks compared to the Ninden, so they were now pined to the wall behind them, the duck closing in on them.

"Had I know a tip would had fixed this," said Guido, trying to get free. "I would have gone 20%!"

The duck fired it's Plate Special, a gaint spinning plate shaped razor shot for it's gut. It was hlaf way to the pined cats when it shattered upward, Kage shooting out of the ground below it, his fist pointed towards the sky. "KYA!!!!!"

He landed, standing up straght and crossing his arms, his long red scarf blowing in the wind as he faced the duck waitress. "Dash! Blind it now!"

Dash quickly cartwheels away to avoid the flying forks.

"This thing could be a pretty tough battle"

Dash heard Kage calling to him. "All over it." Dash then fired at the robots eyes

SOLAR FLARE!

The beam hit right in the middle of the robot's face, immobilizing it.

"Hey Kage, wanna do a 2 for 1? If we combine our super moves we should be able to beat it.

Naiye stood on the corner watching the two people fight and laughed himself silly. "What kinda fighters are ya anyway... this is nothing compared to the rough streets of England... hooligans galore... and i was stuck in the middle"

Kage looked to Dash, and nodded. "Light from above, Shadow from below. Lets do this!"

He reached to the back od his shoulders, and found what he was looking for, drawing forth his twin swords that had been in his pack before his Shadow Armor had melded with him. "You take the top, I'll take the bottom." he said, both rushing the blinded duck mech.

Speedy: Its party time!

*Speedy used his cat eye slash and destroyed the robot

(Remeber kids, only the real pizza cats or Lucille can beat giant robots!)

The Akimoto's had headed straight from school to the Emporium, eager to get something to eat after a hard day.  Kazuko was slumped on the Pizza Cat counter and looked thoroughly fed up.  Taichi on the other hand was trying to get Francine's attention!  "Excuse me miss" he began but she seemed preoccupied with something else.  "Come on..." Kazuko mumbled from the counter.  "Mom's probably only going to be worried about us, we better head home."  She slid off the counter and straightened herself, then turned to head out.  As she passed her brother she hooked her arm in his and tugged him along.

No way was he going to pass up on a pizza, especially after his aunt had said what a good eat it was!  He stopped and his sister jerked to a halt, she looked round to see what the problem was and saw her brother's determination.  "Come on brother, lets go somewhere we can actually get served!"  she protested as she began to tug on his arm again.  He slid out of her of her grip and headed back to the counter, she crossed her arms and humpfed loudly.  He took no notice and tried again.  "Excuse me, we've been waiting for our pizza for almost half an hour!  Is it ready yet?"  He prayed it had not fallen on deaf ears.

Kage leapt from roof top to roof top, his new armor seemed as light as a feather. He had left among the confusion as Speedy unlished his attack, and sperated from from Dash. Blair and the others. He was late geeting back home as it was.

"He's gonna kill me." He said to himself, leaping to the Emporium's roof. He would have leapt onward had he not lost his footing. Instead, he sliped, and with a loud crash fallowed by kicking up dust, landed infront of the pizza shop.

(Not if I have anything to say about itm but that's for another story)

Dash powers down as Speedy destroys the giant duck robot. "Well, looks like I didn't have to use my super this time. Oh well" With that Dash found Blair and they continued walking and talking

Kazuko and Taichi, along with everyone else in the shop looked towards the sound then turned back to what they were doing.  Kazuko used this distraction to take her brother by the arm again and pull back towards the door, he did not resist as he could see they would not be getting their pizza (well at least not until the cats got back!).  The cashier had said she was busy and disappeared into the kitchen!  An old guy queuing behind them, assured them that they just had to be patient and then they'd get their pizza.  When Kazuko began to make a fuss, he muttered something about kids being too impatient these days!  They passed the upended Kage and righted him before carrying on to find a noodle stand or other retailer of savoury vestibles.

With a loud crash, a white flash soared through the sky... it was a bolt of lightning...
It slammed against the giant robot... electricity was flying everywhere...

The entire town lit up in a giant blue light as the monster exploded...
As the light faded away... all the destruction was gone... as was the rampageing waitress and her forks...

The students stood there stunned... All their respective armor and weaponry had mysteriously vanished along with the destruction... and everything else that had gone so wrong...

No one around them seemed to notice anything had changed... but they were completely aware...
What happened to their items? Why does no one remember anything? What was that flash of light?

No one knows... but sure enough... we'll find out sooner or later in the next... or possibly next after that... installment of
