Title: Fullmetal Alchemist
Post by: Daisensei on October 01, 2007, 07:36:14 am
Recently a DVD rental shop near at my home bought disks 1 to 9 of Fullmetal Alchemist (Hagane no Renkinjutsushi),  containing until episode 36. I watched this series and instantly loved it, now I can't wait for the further episodes (I hope the shop will buy until de end of the series).
It's intended to more mature audience, and  differs from the old good vs evil formulae. It's hard to say that the bad guys really are really bad at all, because they are simply seeking for things that are most valuable for them.
Does anybody know Fullmetal Alchemist? What are your opinion?

I watched the whole series. If you like what you see so far, stick around; it gets better. I loved the ending of the series.

If I'm right, the show will start making new episodes this month, ofcourse that will be in japanese so I don't know how long it will take before the english episodes will show up. I hope the episodes will be as good as before or better, but I think it will be less interesting, though I also heard they would be back in the world with alchemy, not in the normal world.

I loved the first FMA anime and I have no interest in the new one, that guy from China or the freaking powerfull guy enemy, I have the felling the older anime was a lot more balanced.

I've heard from 2 asian friends of mine that it would be somewere in april, and reading on wikipedia it sais that the new release would start at 5 april (totday) and the english would be 5 days later.
so I guess the manga has already begun.

The manga has been going for years... where do you think they got the idea for the first anime?.

Well I still like it, and things seem to be picking up. Go check onemanga or some other online hosting site
