Title: What must I do with my 1000th post? Post by: Daisensei on December 16, 2007, 10:22:41 pm Once upon a time, there was a guy that reached the rank of 1000 posts. The time has passed, the guy vanished from the board, and eventually only the elder board members remembered about him.
This tale is only to notice all that I'm not the first member to reach 1k posts mark. :D Anyway, let me know: in what topic should I make my 1000th post? About what would it be? I'm waiting opinions from everybody. Title: Re: What must I do with my 1000th post? Post by: Crow on December 16, 2007, 11:01:02 pm Go outside in the sun and enjoy life.

Post by: Daisensei on December 22, 2007, 09:06:14 pm I already have decided to make my 1000th post in this thread, so here is it. Anyway thanks for everybody for their suggestion or humorous remark.
I remember when I knew about Kyattou Ninden Teyandee from a pirate NES game cartridge. The plot and the characters was very appealing for me, and impelled me to seek more about. It didn't take much time to find Edoropolis Emporium, a friendly space to talk about Samurai Pizza Cat. The board members welcomed me, and most of them have been quite kind. Well, of course it hasn't been always peaceful, some stressing episodes have happened, but nothing too much bad, I think. After all, the members have behaved in a very mature way to make things settled. Many things have happened since I joined in. Newcomers appeared and made their contributions, old members who still have been hanging around, some persons who showed some sign of their existence in the board, and some others that vanished completely. I changed my username many times, but my avatar has been always :gurulou: (I feel part of myself is like him: older, but not wiser). I helped few, and was helped a lot. Despite a great number of posts of mine, I shouldn't claim of being more active or more engaged among KNT/SPC fan (perhaps only Violet would deserve such title). Anyway, being natively a bilingual speaker (Portuguese and Japanese), and having some knowledge in English, it has been possible to make contributions for translating and bringing information formerly unavailable for western public. Project Dream is one of the work I'm engaged in (a big thanks for Tigriss), other is the manga scanlation projects (hi, ElonNarai and Violet). Therefore I have posted many times only as a consequence of many projects where I have taken part. KNT/SPC was a great TV show, I reckon, but that isn't the only reason to dedicate my scarce spare time. The main motivation is YOU, who loves the show, and likes to learn more and to talk about it. I'm thanking you, the loyal KNT/SPC fans, and I dedicate my 1000th post for all board members. I'm glad to be part of this community, and I hope am going to make another thousand of posts. ;) Title: Re: What must I do with my 1000th post? Title: Re: What must I do with my 1000th post? Post by: TGLucario475 on December 24, 2007, 10:22:37 am When I saw your post count at 999, I thought that this forum had a cap. Well now I know better. that would be kinda stupid then, if a forum had a cap of 999 posts O_O even tho i know a forum provider, a topic can go up to 500 relpys, then the thread is auto-locked & no-1 can post in it O.O as a prize, Daisensei, can ya choose something from my sig (from "the future" part) & i'll send him/her over to celebrate with a ^_^ |
