As the title suggests, I wanted to comprise a list of random/lesser known facts about the main characters of SPC. Please add as you see fit, and make sure that the facts are fanon and not made-up. Gracias!  ;]

• His x-ray visor cost him 75 cents and three cereal box tops
• Is allergic to UFO's and aliens make him sneeze

• Is concerned about the environment (**actually, Polly and Guido alike have made quotes to suggest that all three of them are environmentally aware)

• Doesn't care if a robot has a prettier body then he does
• He somehow knows Dan Rather
• His superhero contract has been renewed for an additional five years (**along with Polly, Guido and Francine)

• She is not a pedigree (still, never call her a mixed-breed cat!)
• Thinks she's the next Sigourney Weaver
• Likes to gossip
• Doesn't want to die without winning an Emmy or a Golden Globe
• Speedy and Guido think she's fine just as she is, and one of the prettiest superheroes they know

Leader of the Nekonin clan, although Yattarou, Sukashii, and Pururun don't find this out until the end of the series.

Claims to be the Nekonin clan's number one genius scientist, but is really just a dirty old man. (According to the Narrator)

Well, in the one where they go back 15 years and Young Al tells them to confess, Polly mentions a brother, whom she used to throw mud at. I can't remember if Francine ever out and out mentions any brothers or sisters, but it is implied in the episode Shake Rattle & Roll, where she mentions giving the pop up book to her nephew.

That's right! I was trying to remember if Francine said she gave the book to her brother or her nephew. Thanks for the info! I shall update the list ... you can keep the KNT facts coming, too. I'm not familiar with KNT so I'll stick with maintaining the SPC stuff.

This joke was actually brought up in two different episodes. The second time being in episode 16, Big Cheese's IQ Corral.

I also want to know if Fran's age is mentioned to be 18 in one of the ep's? I seem to remember this from somewhere.

This was in the tournament episode "Kung Fu Kitty Contest". In the original KNT episode, Usahime's prize to the winner would actually be whatever they desired. And so Yattarou, being the goofball that he is, decides that he wants a harem. That thought ends up being his motivation during the last round. In fact, in the scene right before the round starts where he's standing completely still and sweating a bit, if you listen really closely, you can just barely hear him muttering "harem..." under his breath. :D At the end of the episode, he can't bring himself to say it, though. And then he ends up sneezing on Usahime, which of course makes her call for him to be banished. Yattarou then begs for her forgiveness, which ends up being his prize.
 
BTW, the "Guido tells Polly that Speedy and Bad Bird are brothers" gag is one of the few jokes that's completely the same in both SPC and KNT.

Good grief!! And people call Speedy a goofball?!  :huh: He's 10 times more moral than his Japanese counterpart!  He vvanted one of Vi's friends to have dinner vvith him and the Princess...not get a bonifide harem (as in prostitute, right?) . A date, not a night in bed! (that's against the Samurai code anyvvay!)
Though come to think of it. reading that plot vvould exlain vvhy Polly/Pururan and Lucielle/Omistu vvere in the contest, and also vvhy Polly/Puruan vvas shooting Yatarrou/Speedy dirty looks.

As I recall, the Cats' specific ages are never mentioned during the course of the series, so any number would be an estimate at best. Several people have posted their personal guesses before, which is probably where the idea of Francine being 18 comes from.

The only real hint as to how old they are comes from one of the art books which depicts Polly progressing through the stages of her life from child to adult and shows her graduating from college; this (presumably) places her somewhere in her twenties, with Speedy and Guido falling within that same range. Francine is a bit shorter than the others and presumably younger, and yet is still old enough to own/work at the Pizza Cat, which is probably where people get the figure of 18 for her.

Cool, vvhat art book is that from? Do you have it? Can you post some pictures from it?

The book in question is called "Teyandee '94". This probably isn't the official name; I imagine Vi knows more about it than I do.

I do like Fran, so I'm glad they never did this.

In 'Pizza Cats Are Only Human Part 2', the SPC were trying to persuade Guru Lou to tell them where the Supreme Catatonic is, but he wouldn't tell them. At one point, Polly decides to beat Guru up until he talks... Or something like that, can't remember it very well...

That one has always been my favourite. ^^ *points to the personal text beneath his avatar.*

Re-worded it, cheers. I misread your other point, I remember the N's remark about poor Guido's lack of talent ... 'course Guido didn't do himself any favours buying all his own CD's :)

I thought only Guido called her 'Old Halibut Breath' in 'Pizza Bird Delivers!' I don't think Speedy would ever do something like that! He knows it's signing a death certificate!  :D

 :cannonball: seems to be trying his hand at a wee bit of cross-dressing; albeit nothing as flamboyant as Koon no Kami. I forget the name of the episode ("Destructo Robots at Popular Prices," or something like that?), but the plot was as follows: The Rude Noise (or Dark Quartet, for KNT fans) were trying to prove their worth after Bad Bird/Karamaru was taken out of the game for a bit due to injuries suffered when Yattaro blew up the giant robot. As such, they were following the Pizza Cats/Nyanki to discover their weaknesses--during this time, Cannonball thought to himself, at some point: "I wonder if hair dye works with feathers? I found a great one today!"

That's how it went, pretty much. If you can find the episode and download it, you'll see what I mean. :)

That would actually be "I found a grey one today." as in, he's getting older.

So he aknovvledges the monstar looks better than him!

P.S.: I just revvatched the ep, and I can't find any difference (except obviously in height) betvveen Guido and Speedy! Both their chests look the same to me.

Try looking at their stomachs. Speedy is a bit on the tubbier side. But he makes up for it with a cuter face.  ;)

Okay I'll include it but I'm re-wording it. For the record that robot was not prettier in anyway compared to our beloved Speedy. Even if he has been eating too much pizza ...  ;-) (a heck of a fighter needs a heck of a lunch, everyone knows that by now)
