Edoropolis Emporium

Since there's a large amount of quality titles about to be released or in the late stages of development at the moment, I was wondering what everyone here is looking forward too.

I just preordered my copy of The Force Unleashed today, which is looking pretty epic, based on the demo I've been playing. There was an awesome move where I managed to grab an Imperial fighter out of the air and then hurl it into a bunch of Wookies - now that's what I call a Force Power!

I'm also looking forward to Fable 2, Gears Of War 2, Rock Band (when the bloody thing finally gets released over here) and Guitar Hero: World Tour (although the set-list seems a little weak to me).

Fable 2 is my most anticipated. I never read up on all the hype for the first game, so I wasn't disappointed with it. My only complaint with Fable was there needed to be MORE of what there was. Looks like Fable 2 is delivering that at the very least. A lot of people don't like Peter Molyneux for the ideas or "promises" he makes about gameplay features. I couldn't care less whether or not his ideas make it into the current game he's working on. I'm happy his ideas exist because they are the best ideas I've ever heard for games, especially RPGs. I've always been turned off by traditional RPGs and I agree with Molyneux on what an RPG should be.

The next Halo. Or whatever. I'm kind of disappointed in games as of late.

Command&Conquer RedAlert3 :D Oh and that Spore game looks fun I think I'l get that as well.

So I'll just restate my previous fact: Halo (and all it's runty children) sucks.

Sure, Sonic Adventure 2 wasnt that bad, but Sonic Adventure was better, Sonic and the secret rings was good but it was a racing game and Sonic Rush adventure was just too short.

i re-arranged my trip to the denist just to buy it ... but it wasnt in stock

and you cant play as Coco Bandicoot on the PS2 version

Hmm, I was just on Gamespot, and it appears that they are making a game for the DS based on Dragon Ball.  I hope it's decent, because I just started watching the original series and that would be a cool game to play.

Otherwise, I'm looking forward to Smackdown vs Raw 2008 and I'm looking for recommendations for other games. 

Well, Fable 2 was a huge disappointment. I will never buy anything with the words 'Peter Molyneux' on it again - that man is a goddamn liar. Among other problems, it has the worst ending to a game I have ever seen.  >:[

*sigh* Let's hope GOW2 lives up to the hype.
