Edoropolis Emporium

It has come to my attention that there are certain people who worship the ground Speedy and Polly walk on, and loudly profess their undying love for this pairing. Fine. That's all well and good. As a matter of fact, I myself think they make a cute couple. HOWEVER...

I will not sit idly by and watch an outbreak of flaming arguments crop up on EE about why one pairing is superior to another. I've visted other fan communities and seen them plagued by this disease known as "shipping wars", i.e. groups of people who have ENTIRELY too much time on their hands to waste debating which fictional characters should be locking lips, and attacking anyone who disagrees with their point of view.

That said, KNOCK IT OFF. The Pizza Cat community as a whole has been free of this nonsense for years now, let's keep it that way. Aside from the occasional controversy over "unconventional" pairings, usually no one gives the subject much thought or debate. This is SPC/KNT, for crying out loud, not some teen romance drama fest. If someone disagrees with you, just shrug your shoulders and move on. It's a subject no one should be fighting over. This show has some romance in it, yes, but mostly it's a silly action/comedy about cats in colorful armor who fight giant robots while making wisecracks, puns, and working undercover in a pizza emporium. SPC shipping is not Serious Business. Stop trying to make it that way. =\_/=

PS: Obey and respect the Admin. Reading the Forum Rules (http://www.edoropolis.org/forums/index.php?topic=14.0) couldn't hurt either.

Talking about pairings was cool back in the ol' 'Couples Thread'. There was no drama or debate, it was just 'hey, I like this couple! Here's why ... ' and that was it. If we're going to talk about pairings, that's the way it should be. 

 

I like  :-* ;) pairing (partly because in the KNT :polly: really likes :speedy:), but this doesn't mean other pairing isn't interesting too. Nevertheless Tigriss stated very sharply and correctly, this isn't a place to make immature flame war. We are here because we like the show, not for show off ourself.

Changing the subject, I'm glad to see Tigriss here again (and also in the post about Tigress  :D). I hope she will visit us more frequently.  ;)

As much as I enjoy drama and other such related things, I do also find it rather sad that "Ship Wars" have been the major issues here for the past months.
