Okay, this (http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b91847357) just showed up on Yahoo Japan Auctions. Abput 120 pages of KNT model sheets. 8O The price is high, though. 80,000 yen, or about $740 US.

I wish I had the money. I'd buy it and scan them all. :'(

I'm not sure, but the bigger issue is that they won't ship outside Japan. However, you could bid through a proxy service that will send you the item afterward for an additional fee.

There are several companies on the web devoted specifically to such things. Rinkya (http://www.rinkya.com/), Celga (http://www.celga.com/), Shopping Mall Japan (http://www.shoppingmalljapan.com/) to name just a few. You sign up for an account with them, then you can bid on auctions through their website. If you win, they'll send you the item. You'll end up paying a bit extra because you pay for shipping twice (from the seller to the proxy, then from the proxy to you), as well as a service fee for the proxy's work.

I've used Shopping Mall Japan a couple times, and overall it's worked quite well. There might be differences in the specifics between the various companies, but at SMJ at least, you have to give them a deposit which you use for bidding. If they don't get your deposit in time, you can't bid (which I found out the hard way on a big auction of about a dozen or so KNT doujins about a year or so ago :'().

Seems the seller has now decided to include a bonus with this auction. Whoever wins will also get 40 pages of Arslan Senki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Heroic_Legend_of_Arslan) production drawings.

I have a set of these already.  Not sure if there are 120 pages in mine, but I do have a real studio used set of model sheets in my collection.  Most of the good ones have already been scanned and put online.

I'd rather have a lower price for the actual KNT drawings than pay that much and get stuck with something I have no interest in. I don't know what these sellers are thinking half the time. It's like the ones who've listed the entire set of tapes for an insane amount of money. I used to shell out lots of cash for KNT merchandise, but I've got my limits too.

Well some of these sellers do a LOT of auctions, and in order to save time and effort, I suppose they combine things when possible. The more individual auctions they start, the more transactions they have to handle, the more shipments they have to make, etc.

I think I have all the ones that are already online, but it wouldn't hurt to show anyone else who might be interested. A lot of them were originally scanned by Violet and posted on her Samurai Saving Time page.

Yes, posting ANYTHING regarding KNT or it's artform is completely against the rules! We're gonna string ya up by your thumbs..!

This set is still available, and apparently the price has been dropped another 20,000 yen: It's now going for 50,000.

That's got some nice stuff. You get a decent full body reference for The Pointless Sisters in their cute/sexy attire! As well as that "Wet and Wild Weekend" Collection of the Good Guys in the robes. Incidentally, it also has some pieces from Digimon Season 1, with Sora and Mimi in their underwear.

Price on this has dropped yet again. Minimum bid is now 30,000 yen. Even though that's still expensive, it's less than half of what it started at.

Price has dropped again: now 20,000 yen.

It's like seller gradually regains his sanity.
