Yeah, I was stuck with a Master System with only seven games for nine years, thats the reason I have so many games and consoles.

They have GH3 at least for the PC. I'd immagine it'd be the easiest for custom songs too

I once had a famicom computer and my first 2 games were... One with 8 games in one (4 of them were SMB1) and Kyatto Ninden teyandee!!! I didn'y own so many catridges for that console (In fact I just had Captain Tsubasa 2 after lose my KNT game :'()... ANyway I exchanged a LOT  of game catridges so I really enjoyed my Famicom

When the PSX was kicking asses in my town I got a SNES with a 6 in 1 catridge... I was older so I could get some catridges by my own like Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past, Dragon Ball Z 2, SailorMoon (A Street Fighter stule) and s Super Game Boy where I also got like 3 very goodcatridges ... The fucking games are reallty expensive in my country...

Like 5 years ago I finally got my PS2 but all my games are copies cause they still being TOO exoensive here...

I got my PSP the last year and I just have bought megaman Powered Up and Silent Hill Origins... I've been all the year playing tbhe PSP games plus the emulators...

I was planning to buy a NDS but my job has had problems and I have more important duties at home...ALso Nintendo released a new version of DS so I think I'll wait until the DSi read copies for buy it (Unless Nintendo make ANOTHER DS by that time)

While I agree that it is pricey, what new game system wasn't when first released? I remember being pissed as hell when I shelled out $400 for a 360, but I didn't care, it was worth it.

I actually sold my PS3 and used it to buy a region free Blu-ray player, Purrcat.  Taking away Linux support after giving it to us (and selling Yellow Dog, an official distro no less!) the PSN hacking, and the data they are collecting has turned me off to Sony.  If you have a solid tower, Steam is working really great on Linux now (and obviously for Windows) and I rely on that for gaming these days.  The Final Fantasy games were my favorite series, but I can't say that I've truly liked one enough to replay it since FF VIII.  I plan on buying a WiiU eventually, but I just wish there were a console that could hold its own against Sony and Microsoft in terms of technology (Sega, where are you? :-[)

Ok, had fun with that ;) Not really a gamer myself, and as such I never owned a console before the PlayStation. I like the FFs that have been released on the PS1, but everything on the PS2 and now PS3 have been letdowns. Grandia II on the PS2 was OK though. I don't think I'll be buying a PS4 unless I know for sure I'm going to like FF15, if that ever gets released
I agree that the current market, with its two pillars of high performance consoles and a lesser one "for the common folk" so to speak ;) , is not working at all.

The age of console gaming, as already said, is ending. Now, PC's have became almos on-pair with consoles in terms of graphic processing. So, the power of consoles rest only in it's exlcusives. I, myself, have bought my PSP just to play Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, and I don't intend to buy any console anytime soon. Even the next Metal Gear Solid will be released to PC now, why should I buy ANOTHER eletronic, if I can play almost anything that I'd like to in my PC?

Heh, I actually forgot the topic at hand, thanks for reminding me Matt.  I don't have as much time/interest for gaming these days, so I have the following: Sega Master System, Sega Genesis/Megadrive, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast.  NES, SNES, N64 and PSX.  It's been so long since I replayed a lot of my old games that they're new to me again, honestly.  If only more of those Sega Saturn RPGs had been brought over and translated into English...

I own Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance SP, PS2, PS3 and PSP. I can say I've been lucky (well, whoever has a console is already lucky)

I own an FC Twin (piece of crap), Genesis, Dreamcast, PS2, and a GameCube which I never use. I'll hold on to them forever. Console gaming will never end for me. :D

Hey... I just wanted to share that I finally got a real NES console after SO many years... It seems pointless but I'm really happy because I never had one before (I just had a clone Family console)

The NES is in a real good shape and I got it with two controllers (Working 98% perfect), a zapper (I just love the trigger sound), original cables and Super Mario Brothers 3, 2 and 1 (The one with Duck Hunt) and Punch Out (The Mike Tyson version)... I'm trying to find the 2 golden Zelda catridges, and this would make me really happy...

If everything goes well this year I'll try to get a N64 and a GC, in this way I)'ll have all the damn Nintendo TV consoles (Except for Wii U); would be great to find another copy of Teyandee (Even the pirated one) and an adaptor and play it on my "new" NES!!
