Title: Sharing Doujin Scans
Post by: felineki on December 09, 2008, 09:22:14 pm
I've been building up a small collection of KNT related doujinshi, bought via auction. I've decided to start scanning them to share with other fans. Any adult material will be available at the Nihonbare board. Feel free to discuss or ask questions. I can read  a bit of Japanese, so if there's something you want help understanding, I might be able to help out.

First up is "Zoku Kyattou Ninden Teyandee" (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JL7CWNYD) ("Zoku" = Contuinuation"). A smaller book (dimension-wise) than most of the other doujins I have seen. Small enough to lay open on the scanner and have two pages scanned at once, which saved me a lot of time. :P The cover is a construction paper-like material. Consists mostly of comics, the plots of which include:
  • Okara and Otama as barbers, and Usahime as their customer.
  • Otama becomes Nyanki #0! Although she doesn't do a good job of it...
  • Pururun's older sister shows up with a surprise... apparently she's set Pururun up with a guy without her permission.
  • Nekki's lot in life is depressing. He gets so little screen time, and as a result, his pay is poor. But he soon finds someone esle who knows the pain of being a minor water ninja character...
  • Koon no Kami's latest silly scheme involves turning the Nyanki into children! But he ends up turning himself and Karamaru into children, too. Thus, Usahime finds some new playmates.

Wow!!! The scans are great!!! Is weird to see a doujinshi paying attention to Sukashii... Otama's armor looks great, a bit complex comparing the armors of the original Nyankees...

Thanks a lot Felineki!!

Right now I'm starting to scan the next book I'll be sharing. This one has to be scanned one page at a time, and it's ~90 or so pages, so it might be a few days depending on well the book and scanner want to cooperate.

Here's the next doujin, "Ball Up". (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HVUW3J6S) It's mostly centered around Otama, and consists of several comics and a few illustrations.

Thank you for sharing these, felineki. I actually have the Ball Up doujin, but it's cool to have a copy on my computer too. I should really scan some stuff to post here myself, but I hate my scanner. Maybe someday...

You're welcome, Tigriss. And I and many other fans would greatly appreciate any scans from you.

Next doujin I'll be scanning is Usatamamipple, which you can read about and see some samples of at Violet's site. (http://www.edoropolis.org/violet/library/mega/index.html)

Usatamamipple (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DF102M6Z) has finished being scanned and uploaded. I withheld one page due to some nudity. If you want that page, the whole book is available on the Nihonbare board.

Next up will be the Anniversary Memorial, which you can read a bit about here. (http://www.edoropolis.org/violet/library/sopc/index.html) It's a lot of material, so it might take some time to scan. I have one other KNT doujin, Yoki ni Hakarae 2, but I'm not going to be sharing it, because it's currently available for sale in digital form.

EDIT: I'm sorry, but I accidentally damaged one of the Anniversary Memorial books while attempting to scan it and now I'm too afraid to continue. So don't be looking forward to it anytime soon if ever.

The RAR files, you mean? WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm) should open them up. The individual files inside are JPEGs, which should open fine in any imaging program or even a web browser.

felineki, a digital camera with a good zoom of more than 3x could be a good alternative for images of your books. they might not be as crisp and bright as a scan would be, but probably less disastrous to the integrity of your doujin.

I was actually thinking about that yesterday. I think I might try that out soon and see how it turns out.

It's here on EE, but only visible to those who have joined it. If you're interested, you can send a PM to Violet (http://www.edoropolis.org/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=20) or Supersonic. (http://www.edoropolis.org/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=1)
