Next time I get myself a heap-load of Microsoft Points**, I'm downloading Psychonauts. I would have bought it for the original Xbox had it not capped out on me.

Yep, you should. But don't go over board like me. I own the PS2 version, The Xbox version, I had the PC version for a while there,  and the Xbox Original's version. I love Psychonauts that freaking much.

Dude, Polly Points are serious business... Oh, Oz, yeah, "was". It could have gone so much farther! I know it WAS popular, but damn! It should be bigger than Pokemon! What other game has inanimate objects with cartoony eyes and a bird that poops out eggs to break cobwebs whilst hiding in the blue backpack of an upright humanized bear? It's the $#!t, man!

if thats your argument, i'd say oddworld is one of the most underrated game series of all time...

there are few under rated games i have, like titanic adventure out of time, forgotten1: it begins (it was supposed to have a sequel, but it was never made), and phantasmagoria, im practically the only person that owns "forgotten" and the titanic game

Mole Mania on Gameboy. (Miyamoto's most overlooked game. Even CLu CLu Land gets more recognition.)

Super Alfred Chicken on the SNES.

Wild 9 on PS1.

Beyond Good & Evil on Gamecube.

Magic Pengel on PS2.

Secret of Mana for the SNES wasn't that well known, considering it had to deal with FF V and FF VI.

And perhaps the lesser known game: 7th Saga. Something about it I just really liked.

i mean, sure, banjo kazooie might have a small chance of being seen as underrated. But OOT? the game that was just recntly kicked of the throne of "Best game ever" by GTA IV?
let me tell you what underrated means, it means that the game was better than people thought it would be/was and few people bought it for that reason (like psychonauts). A game that spent almost ten years being "no. 1 best game ever" is NOT underrated!

anyway, Turok (360 & ps3) is kind of underrated imo. sure, the little glitches can get you killed, but so can the ones in mirrors edge (awesome game).

though it's a dragonballz game, you can't do much. only a short story mode and it's finished, and as far as I know, you even can't reset the game.....

Here are a few racing games that got eclipsed by GT:

Enthusia: came out on the PS2 around the same time as GT4. after playing the two I think that Enthusia greatly surpasses GT4 (and this is coming from a die-hard GT fan) Enthusia had a clutch in the game and the physics as well as the graphics rival GT5 proluge (which i have and have to say it's not that great)

Tokyo Extreme racer Zero and drift 2: Both of these games came out on the PS2. Zero Deals with highway racing, and in actuallity is related to the oringinal MidNight Club (I'm talking about the real street racing team and not the game even though there is a relationship)
Drift 2 capitalizes on Drifting on japanese mountain passes (think Inital D). Both are great games if your looking for a good street racing game.

BTW: anyone remember Tomba on the PS1?

another underrated game is phantasmagoria2 puzzle of flesh (even though i never played it), i mean, what other game has an s&m club in it (other then duke nukem 3D)?

anyway, Wizardry 8 is a good game that not so many people have heard of, and few think it looks good by its cover art. it proves that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover :D

another under rated game is "bonk!" ("pc genjin" in japan), its a performer where u can destroy enemys with your head

I just played The Bards Tale (the 2004 one)
its fun with its humour and controls like a charm on the PC. it got a lot less recognition than it deserved.

GT has shipped nearly 11 million units since being released, was praised highly by video game reviewers, and started a successful racing game franchise. That's far from being underrated...

Sonic '06: Ignore the glitchs and its a very good game. i give it a 9.0 of 10.0

So.. ignore almost 95% of the game?

Here's the only glitches i found:

But its fun to see some of the funny glitches.
(don't trigger glitches unless you mean it)
(i was playing the xbox 360 version and tryed not to trigger them)

I think that's a major glitch for a Sonic game.

Played it too and they are the worst game's I have ever played.
Well I played the NES version on a emulator and I could only play 50 the other 2 carshed.
I also played cheetamen 2 on a emulator and it was BAAAD.

CoDMW, CoDMW2, CoDBlackOps, All of these games are overrated, sorry for being a bit off to topic, but i have to get that out of the way,
Here's a VERY underrated game, The Neverhood, Man, do i like this game, but Gamespot hates it, and alot of other gamer hate it too,

ANOTHER underrated game thats a Spin-off of the last two is... Boombots, a fighting game, its alot of fun, but a bit on the short side.
NOTE: Skullmonkeys\Neverhood 2 and Boombots are only for the PS1
