Title: Question for the old-school gamers Post by: LadyFlame on February 25, 2009, 06:48:10 pm Hope some of my fellow EE'ers can help me with a question that's been bugging me for years! I got the Mega Drive Ultimate Collection for my Xbox 360 last week and I've been getting back into Streets of Rage, an old favourite of mine. Just been wondering: how do you access the "bad" ending? Even when I had my Mega Drive years ago, I could never get to it. I tried saying that I'd join up with Mr X at the end but I got sent back to an earlier stage and then had to fight him when I got back. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

When he asks you to join, have one player say yes, and the other say no. The two will then have to fight each other. If the winner is the one who agreed to join Mr X, he will then fight the one who said 'yes'. Have this character beat Mr X, and you get the bad ending.

What Truro said is right though. If you don't have a second player to do it with, use another controller to start the second character on stage 7 and do your best to pull/defend them until the end of the game. The only reason you can't do this on stage 8, unless they changed it, is because a second player isn't allowed to start on stage 8 if I'm recalling this right. Good luck! ~Teh_FlaH Title: Re: Question for the old-school gamers Post by: LadyFlame on February 26, 2009, 02:55:15 pm Thanks very much, guys; that's a huge help! I'm taking my game up to my mate's house at the weekend, so I'll see about trying it out then.
