Title: Do you hate Meg Griffin? Post by: KageReneko on January 09, 2010, 07:17:19 pm Everybody seems to hate Meg, but few people can give an answer different to "Because she sucks"... Anyway I just wanted to know what do you think about her and the poor development that she has received in the show... She isn't the best character but her episodes are usually the most interesting in every season...

Family Guy has Meg same that The Simpsons have a Milhouse (Although in the beggining the punchbag was Homer, in the good times when Bart was the main character), Futurama has Zoidberg, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy has Erwin, etc...
The fact that really annoys me is that the "Fandom" hates Meg just cause everybody in the show hate her, the people say "Meg sucks" or "Meg is stupid" without a real reason... I know that Meg's character isn't really interesting but this is the fault of the writers, they say that Meg doesn't have deep roles cause they can't to figure how to write for a teenager girl (Anyway they can write for an old pedophile, a sexual obsessed and a gay baby so this really shows a lot about them)... I really hate when the popularity of a character makes the other characters get ignored (Anybody said Sukashii??) but is a lot worse when the writers just are lazy and turn a character in the easy joke instead to forve themselves to be creative... I am really tired of Stewie and Brian (Peter is just too funny so I can't get enough of him) and I'd like to see more episodes about Meg and Chris (Since their few episodes are really good)...
