Edoropolis Emporium

Well, it's been a few years since we last played this kind of game.
How about we see what happens if we bring it off of the shelf for a little while.  ;)

For those of you whom are new here, this is a game we've played at Edoropolis Emporium called "They Said What!?"
Basically, we take screen shots from any Samurai Pizza Cats episodes that look half-way decent, and make lines that go along with it to make the screen shot as funny as possible.

Since it's been a while since we've done this, I'm going to post a re-fresher for the rules.

1) Every week after a successful poll, a new thread is gonna be started with a different image to work on.

2) Everyone (except the chooser of the screen cap) will have 4 days to come up with 1 funny line or excerpt they'd like to go with the image.
(The chooser may put a screen cap down, however it may not be included in the polling.)

3) KEEP THEM CLEAN. ANY AND ALL ENTRIES THAT ARE DIRTY, FOUL, or SUGGESTIVE will be deleted.

4a) Submissions can either be the image edited with the text inside.
OR
4b) Submissions can just be in your post.

5) All entries will be accepted as equals.

6) 1-Week from the start of the thread around 11:59pm Central Standard Time the submissions thread will be locked.

7) The entries will then be put into a Polling thread which will determine the winner.
1 Entry per User.

8 ) The Poll will be closed 1-Week from the start of the polling around 11:59 Central Standard Time.

9) The winner will be announced the following day, and be asked if they can provide a screen capture. If they cannot, I may be able to provide a capture.
*** The Bunny Princess still has the right to fill in and post the picture when the mods neglect to do it for a whole week! ***
All pics must be either SPC or KNT screen captures from the shows. NO FAN ART.

10) In an effort to keep bandwidth usage on the forums as low as possible, let's try to keep the images below 50 Kb if possible. Some JPEG images don't look too bad around those settings from what I've seen.

These guidelines are subject to change at my or the other moderators discretion.

Well... I was going to try to bring the thread back. However, it appears that this type of thread has run it's course.  :O
I'll go ahead and leave this one open for one more week. We'll see if anyone else wants to join in.

If not, you win by Default. However, it's hard to have this happen without multiple users commenting.
Perhaps I should just remove the voting aspect of it & post a "screen shot of the month" for users to post comments to.

Oh well, whatever works best for everyone I suppose.  It was worth a try.  ;)

Please, no. :) 1 month is too long to wait for a new picture. Let it be 1 week, of course if there will be more comments.
And voting is needed too - we must determine who will post the next picture.

I hope some other people contribute, I always liked this thread  :)

The reason i didn't post in this thread was because i had nothing to say. as soon as i read Kyo's "Well excuuuuuuuuuse me PRINCESS!!!" I couldn't think of anything else that could go with the picture.
I guess it just fit so well. for all it's worth: My vote goes to Kyo.

Gabya's got a point. Sometimes I won't post because I can't think of anything, or someone else's post is better than anything I can think of. I'm usually just waiting for the next image. I like the one a week idea. Or sometimes the image just doesn't inspire anything. Get a clue, and get a new image instead of waiting for comments.

Woah woah woah there super dude. To start off, this thread has been dead for the better part of 2 years.
I didn't know what to expect.

Yes, I could move on & post a different image, but I wanted to hear thoughts from everyone.
I only had 1 reply over the span of 7 days to go off of feedback-wise.
While I did see tons of views, I didn't have a bead on what everyone wanted.

I processed that feedback into multiple scenarios...
- Either no one wants to do this.
- Everyone's busy.
- I need to do something different.

I needed feedback. Thankfully, I'm getting that now.
Perhaps I should've probably wrote my previous post a little better. It sounded too whiny.

In any case, here's what we'll do. I'll lock the thread Tomorrow Afternoon around 6:00 pm CST.
We'll perform Polling between Wednesday and Saturday.

Winner will be decided on Sunday, and hopefully we'll begin 4-2 quickly after that.

S'okay! BTW, I like the image you chose. I don't think there are any 'bad' images anyway, it all depends on how creative you are.
