Title: windows media encoder Post by: sjonnoh on June 22, 2010, 05:54:09 pm Because movie maker only accepts 640 by 480 or 320 by 240 ect. I need an encoder to make some bleach episodes from 848 by 480 to 848 by 636. since WME is the only free encoder with no watermark I tried to use that one but I really don't know how to make a video from 848 by 480 to 848 by 636 correct...
this is the input screen: (http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb146/silver_rasengan/Nieuwebitmapafbeelding-19.jpg) and this is what I try to make: (http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb146/silver_rasengan/Nieuwebitmapafbeelding-kopie-2.jpg) but it mostly ends with.....: (http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb146/silver_rasengan/Nieuwebitmapafbeelding-kopie3.jpg) or (http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb146/silver_rasengan/Nieuwebitmapafbeelding-kopie2.jpg) or a combination of these 2..... does someone know what to use and how?? (like cropping or re-sizing and how much) Title: Re: windows media encoder Post by: Teyandee on June 22, 2010, 11:38:53 pm Try VirtualDub (http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/) - it can resize the video files:
Video -> Filters - resize: (http://ipicture.ru/uploads/100623/thumbs/VyJ02NBLW2.jpg) (http://ipicture.ru/Gallery/Viewfull/491361.html) It is free Title: Re: windows media encoder Post by: sjonnoh on June 23, 2010, 04:01:11 pm just downloaded it but it only can open videos with 640 by 480 ect, not those from 848 by 480 :-\
Title: Re: windows media encoder Post by: Teyandee on June 23, 2010, 04:09:35 pm Sorry then :( I though it will help
Title: Re: windows media encoder Post by: sjonnoh on June 25, 2010, 09:03:06 am well at least it was a suggestion, guess I just have to play a bit more with WME X3
Title: Re: windows media encoder Post by: Teyandee on June 25, 2010, 02:42:26 pm Try again :)
I just managed to open an 720x384 video and save is as 1024 * 768. The problem is: the programm fail to save in DivX codec giving me a The source image format is not acceptable. (error code -2) message. But it works good for XViD. Title: Re: windows media encoder Post by: sjonnoh on June 27, 2010, 02:58:14 pm oh but I got the problem that it won't open files that ain't 320 by 240 or any other combination of that. I even tried to download a few codecs but still it doesn't work :(
Title: Re: windows media encoder Post by: Teyandee on June 27, 2010, 03:34:17 pm That is strange. A 1.9.9 version has now opened 512*277 and 720*384 or 504*288
Try instaling K-Lite Codec Pack http://www.codecguide.com/about_kl.htm (Mega version). Title: Re: windows media encoder Post by: sjonnoh on June 27, 2010, 04:59:27 pm just installed that codec, I actually wanted to download that codec before but downloaded the wrong one by accident X3
now there's a new problem, when I go to video -> filters, I get this (see picture below)....do I have an other version of virtualdub? (mine sais VirtualDub-1.9.9) Title: Re: windows media encoder Post by: Teyandee on June 28, 2010, 04:39:38 pm It is not a problem ;]
To use the filter you must add it first. Now press the "add" button, choose resize and click "OK". Specify the size you need and press Ok. The filter will now be used when you save the video. Go Video->Compression to choose the video codec you need. Don`t forget to set Video = Full processing mode for the codec to be applied. Title: Re: windows media encoder Post by: sjonnoh on June 28, 2010, 05:03:00 pm it finally worked! also the souds doesn't get any worse, which did happend with WME, thanks a bunch teyandee, like I said before: umai wa saiko da!
Title: Re: windows media encoder Post by: Teyandee on June 29, 2010, 02:41:44 pm That`s good! Glad I could help you ;]
