Title: GTA:SA back on shelves Post by: Atari on September 20, 2005, 11:51:11 pm Man, I guess I was glad to pull a 12 hour shift at work today to see this piece of history. Grand Theft Auto: San Adreas suddenly poped onto my counter with me all "what the heck" about it. Sure enough, they have finally finished the reprogramming of the Xbox version at least, so it's safe to say GTA:SA will be back on sale at your nearby store sometime soon.
And yes it is still rated Mature. Great, now I'm back to checking people under 25 for ID :/ It's bad enough my provice wants to make it so that "I" can be fined $1000 if I don't ask for ID if they look younger than 25 to see if they are older than 17. My god, these aren't cigarettes I'm selling. It's normally our store's policy as we get complaints from parents of children who get a hold of it by 'deliquent' employees behind the counter. But despite what the govenrment wants us to do... They'll still let us sell R rated movies to anyone that wants them. Uggg... they want The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl 3-D playing on the tv in front of me... SOMEONE KILL ME NOW!!! I've always wondered, what would happen if the ESRB went belly-up, and landed in the hands of say, Larry Flynt, who decides to give all games an "E" rating. The government would be in quite the mess then. -No more "free" press (you know, the whole SA thing) -No more miniguns and flamethrowers at home -Third amedment still ok (soldiers in people's houses) -Seach and seizure is still reasonable (warrents) except for school kids (probable cause) -fifth sill ok -and so on. anyway.... Hey, my copy of San Andreas is M rated, and I got it the day it came out for pc and xbox. It's a collectors item!
