i found a software publisher that offers a driver to make your regular display ready for 3D games. all you need is one of these old/cheap two colored 3d glasses and a rather good grapic card (since the games need a bit more performance then). I got to say its interesting. of course its not perfect since you need to wear those nasty colored glasses and, lets face it, you see that always a bit.everything that uses direct X8 or up is supported. bad thing: its just a 30 days trial version and i cant find the price of the full version(if its already available...its still at version 1.1) ...but its worth to test if you have one of those 3d glasses. but hey half life 2 in 3D is just ....BAAM! Title: Re: Gaming in 3D Post by: vonhorz on November 12, 2010, 07:48:42 pm if you start a game you can open the programm with a shortcut on your keyboard...hen you got to choose what kind of glasses you have...since a friend of mine works at a theater i had the chance to test it with polarizing ones and it was much better...but it works with the colored glasses as well and i guess its worth a try. I tried it at Company of Heroes , Half-life2 , Team Fortress and kane&lynch and it worked perfectly fine. the bad things are that you cant watch movies cause you need a 3d version of them (or i just havent found out how to do that) and that,if you played those games for years, it can be bit wierd cause like you said, its still colored glasses.

they've got a list of compatible cards on the site (http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html) Killing Floor, Split/Second and Metro 2033 look sweet with my anaglyph glasses. you get the 3D feel, but the colours are darker and stuff.
