Now, just a pre-word... I'm not trying to start a fight here or anything~
I'm just saying a few things about KNT that kinda... well... wierd me out~  :O

1st- The Intro~
- The part of the intro that kinda creeps me out is when the cats wiggle their tails at... well... the audience... then dance off screen.

- When Princess Vi... well... looks like she's flirting with Speedy and Guido... and... well... then they fight over her...

Umm... that's it right now~ ^^;

Now don't get me wrong, I'm sure some people get a kick outa it~
It just kinda... well... it's just hinky for me~

Am I the only one that's a little wierded out by some of KNT?

Did you see in the one ep where Speedy (edit: I meant Yattaro oops) is imagining what the aliens are doing to Usa Hime? :O That's just wrong.
And the tail shaking is supposed to be cheerful I guess.

Yeah the UFO ep. Yattaro imagines the aliens are squidlike things and, well, you can figure it out from there. I think Pururun whacked him on the head for it. I'll have to watch the ep again, it's been awhile since I last saw it.

Hmmm... I gotta see that KNT ep... *goes to track it down*

I heard that there was a scene in KNT where Guru Lou grabbed Pururun's you-know-whats (a terrible mistake!)
(Sorry I can't remember his KNT name, so I used his SPC one.)

Yeah, it's in SPC Are Only Human Part II (KNT version of course, dunno the name)

I got a music video which has that scene in it, quite funny.

In the right way? ... That's debateable...

1. Japanese: "Shippo no haeta metaru ninja dayou"
My translation:  "They' re metalic ninja with tail"
I see no obscenity here; its seem that one wishes to show that the animaroids have tail like animals.

2. Japanese:  "Hora kawaii hime ga yondeiru"
                      "'Oo kurushunai' to iwasumade".
                      "Kokowa hitotsu maketya narumaizo"
My translation: "Look, a cute princess are calling to you"
                           "She is saying 'Oo kurushunai'"
                           "Here I can't be defeated"
Note: in the Japan one must  treat its superior with great formality. "Kurushuunai" was employed during the feudal period by noblemen to say  to get more relaxed, less formal.
Here thing looks rather odd. I should expect Speedy and Guido fighting for Lucille, and not for Vi. It seems that one wishes to show the cuteness of the princess, and in the same time the rivalry of the two cats. I see a bit of nonsense here.

IMHO there are nothing creepy about KNT intro.

Those are good points, but they don't change the fact that both those things still kinda creep me out~

I'm in no way trying to bash KNT, the main point of this thread was to point out some things about it that just seem a little qwerky to some of us.

Even though the opening sequence has meaning & purpose as you've pointed out, it still doesn't change the fact that I think it's really... ackward~
(I can see their tails without them having to wiggle them in front of me~ ^^;;; )

For those who don't know, the KNT opening (and closing) theme song has been translated for a while now (must put that up soon when I work on my page again..), and you can see the opening subtitled at Nyanki Fanatics (http://www.nyanki-fanatics.com).

KNT really needs to be translated. SPC is great, but too many good things were left out (even if a few good things were added too). I've attempted to translate myself, but it's a bit hard since I'm not very skilled in Japanese. (All I know I learned from watching fansubs, and from Princess Vi's lessons  ;)) Here's an example, Otama's announcement:

Fuuryoku, kazemuki, kakuto, kore de yooshito! Maido osou ga seshite orimasu. Tadaima yori oishi takuhai piza no mise, Piza Kyatto meibutsu! Tokukyuubin ga hatsu sasaremasu! Minnasama, hakusenmade osagari kudasai! Ikimasu!

My attempt at translating:

Wind-force, wind direction, angle, this should be OK! Thanks for putting up with this slight noise. From the store of delicious home delivery Pizza, comes a Pizza Cat speciality! Special Express Flight is discharged! Everyone, please gather behind the white line! Here goes!

Er... Does that make sense?  :O

EDIT: I don't mind not being able to write 's***', but it's a bit annoying when Japanese words containing those letters get messed up...

Oh, sorry, I forgot that something that don't shock me can bother someone else. I din't mean to make flames, so  :-X

Your attempt is very good indeed, but I have few corrections. The only KNT espisode I have is "Hore hore ana hore, motto hore!" downloaded from Nyanki Fanatics (thanks Tigriss  ;-)), where Pizzacat are launched without the Otama's announcement. Therefore I haven't listened her  :francine: words in Japanese version (I'll be grateful if someone kindly supply me another KNT episode  :-*).

- 'Angle' in japanese is kakudo, not kakuto.

- 'Maido osou ga seshite orimasu.' makes no sense, it may be 'Maido osawagase shite orimasu.' . Osawagase  is polite expression of the verb 'sawagu' that means to make a loud noise, to shout. In this phrase it seems to mean something like 'We are always annoying you'. On the second tought, it may be also 'Maido ôsôdô (oosoodoo) ga sarete orimasu'. I really must  listen Otama's speech to verify the correct expression.

Thank you very much! I went back and listened and 'osawagase' is definitely what she says. I don't know how I managed to mess that one up. Hope that I one day can be half as good as you are.  ;)

I have a whole bunch of KNT episodes, but I don't know which is the best way to get them to you. Does this work for you?

I could upload some too if it would help. I haven't tried sending to someone that way yet. My method before was to make a winrar archive split into many pieces and mail like 30 emails to someone with all the little pieces. This seems much better. Going out today though, so can't until later.

Yes, Puutaro-kun, I downloaded the episonde no. 1 of KNT successfully, thank you very much. Thanks to adam808 and all people that kindly are offering me the episodes. A good way to send (and share) big size files is Bittorrent, have all of you tried it?

I thought The Pizza Cats was creepy enough. I seem to remember a scene where Speedy got handsy with Bad Bird when he thought he was alone with Polly. Probably in cold and crabby in little tokyo, but I could be wrong.  Not to mention the cross dresser Cheese, how Cheese and Jerry met........
