Title: Where to read manga.
Post by: Someone who does Something on March 01, 2011, 01:50:56 pm
Ugh...
I've been trying to find a safe website to read some manga, but, nothing is safe to go on.
So, aside form the local libabry, i need to find a way to read some manga, here they are:
Cardcaptor Sakura (Must be in english)
Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle (Must be in english)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not taking recommendations.
Thank you.

Try the US Publisher's website.
http://www.tokyopop.com/ (http://www.tokyopop.com/)

Once the freebies are gone I'd recommend purchasing it.
Remember, support what you like by rewarding those whom made it with payment.

Remind me to tell my dad to get a mac or a gateway, because my old gateway has been around
for 11 years, and it works like new.
I'm not sure what i can do about Cardcaptor Sakura because, my mom won't let me buy a book\manga\comic book,
So i am pretty much done for, and the library, maybe, if i get a card for KRL, witch is the library that is nearest to us, then yes.
CRUSE YOU VIRUSES AND YOU CRUEL SICK WAYS! PREVENTING ME FORM READING MANGA :/ (>:() >:(

When my dad comes home with the ipod , i will see if it has tsubasa, if it does, then you don't have to upload it harmon, if it doesn't,
then harmon can decide if he wants to upload it.

Okay, so I totally woke up late for school and didn't grab my flash drive.

HOWEVER.  http://domdomsoft.com/home/

It's a program that has no viruses or spyware (as far as I can tell, been using it for almost a year), that let's you link into manga-reading sites and directly download the images.  The program is mostly self-explanatory.  You select the site you want from a list, scroll to the series you want, click on it, then check off the chapters you want.

Then you can either use the slide-show feature that's built into most Windows machines, or use a third party program (I prefer CDisplay http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/CDisplay-Comic-Reader/1034322713/1 which has a lot of neat features including being able to read through rar/zip files) to read them.
Thanks Harmon, it worked! I am now very happy!
Now to read!
I just have to wait...
No big deal!
Never mind...
I got a blue scren when i booted it up :'(
to the ipod...
