Title: Portal 2 Post by: Someone who does Something on April 21, 2011, 07:38:52 pm Has anyone else bought this game?
I have and it's awesome! I enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed the first one, maybe more. We bought the Xbox 360 version just so me and my brother could play split screen Co-Op. My brother accidently said "****ey Acid" instead of "Funkey Acid" I laughed so hard when he did that. This is undiniebly one of the best games I've ever played. Can't wait to finish it. [UPDATE (Spoilers ahead)] Story: You wake up in a room and it breaks, and we meet the first "new" character, wheatly, a blue core how looks almost like the blue core form portal 1, you break back in to the test chambers, where you replay a few of the original test chambers form portal 1, you grab the portal gun, go through a few new tests, before we meet up with glados, she seperates you form wheatly, and later we find out wheatlys is the cause of GLAdos being so crazy, you put wheatly in the core, and he goes power mad and turns glados into a patato battery, you have these to people called Cave Jhonson and caroline, you later GLAdos reunite and put the GLAdos patato on you're portal gun, and find wheatly, and finsh it, and it turns out caroline, is actually GLados, she was put in there to live forever. You later thrown out with *drum roll* COMPANIUON CUBE! :) Gameplay: Very much like the first portal, we have the standered stuff and the new stuff gels!: Repulsion Gel: Allows you to bounce very high, and depending how much momentum you have, or how big of a fall you took, is how high you'll get, Good for getting to hard to reach distances, jump faster by using speed gel. Speed Gel: Allows you to gain more speed, usful for speeding through an area, although this is the second most common gel, so you won't need it very often. Portal Gel: Like the title says, makes anything it touches portalable, serioulsy helpful, but it's the least common of the 3 so you wont need it much. The portal gun makes a return, functioning like the one in the first game, orange and blue, and, like the first, you get the blue only version, then later the blue and orange version, so if you played portal 1 you should know how it works. There's now a briged thing that allows you to get to areas you couldn't get to before, pretty nice. There's also lasers and a companioun ball, witch I HATE the lasers, they are anoyying, yet awesome... Music: It's great, it's my one of my favorites. I have to mention the co-op mode, it's pretty much single player, just with two people (Robots), and much more complex puzzles. Graphics: Stander fare for vaule games, looks nice and detailed Overall: Portal 2 is a great game, for the laughs, the fun, and how unqice it is, 10\10 Note: Sorry for any spelling errors. Title: Re: Portal 2 Post by: Someone who does Something on April 29, 2011, 09:42:58 am I used split screen for co-op.
I never play online. What new memes are there? I usually ignore memes, it's easy. Title: Re: Portal 2 Post by: Mr.NoName on April 29, 2011, 07:51:27 pm *Clears throat*

(Wikipedia redirects to the page about the founder of valve, if that's what you found, then that's awesome) Title: Portal 2 Post by: Gabya on April 30, 2011, 07:38:10 am I finished the game in one sitting.

They'd make you play co-op with Rob The Robot. ~~~ Forget the damn gyro! Make the other portal, now!
