Title: 1st Edition What Is That!!? Post by: Mechadon on July 10, 2011, 05:27:54 pm New game to play. Inpired by the Totally Rad Show.
http://revision3.com/trs/whatisthat_6-22 Using the Cutout filter in Photoshop, I've taken screenshots from Tsuneko's wonderfully qualitied episodes and reduced their quality. You have to guess what the original screenshot is. Every day I decrease the simplicity closer to the orignal image. (By which I mean ever day I'm capable to visit EE) The answers I'm looking for are first, Which episode it is. Later, what the subjects of the image are, and thirdly what the situation is. The first 2 paramaters are a must, the third is totally up to my discretion. Now forum goers of Edoropolis Emporium, you tell me: What is that? --- Image 2: (http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/375/wit2.png) Title: Re: 1st Edition What Is That!!? Post by: Mechadon on July 10, 2011, 05:49:40 pm Dude, this is brilliant. Will you be like Teyandee and answer yes/no as they get asked? I'll try. Again I can't be here all day. I won't be giving hints. My first priority coming to EE will be getting the next image ready after checking for correct answers. If none of the answers are correct, you'll know it cause there will be new iteration of the image up. So maybe i don't have to answer yes/no for every post. I award the winner to who ever has the best detailed description posted first. Title: Re: 1st Edition What Is That!!? Post by: Mechadon on July 11, 2011, 09:47:57 am I assume that you're avoiding the use of stock footage like the opening, or the transformation/blast-off/introduction scenes. Or anything that has a tendency to pop up in multiple episodes. Is this in "Kind of a Drag"? I was thinking the same thing. I would try to choose images that are unique. I used an online dice roller to determine from which episode i choose from. If six is the first number, then it represents a 0. So a roll of 6:4 would be episode 4. Also, when the new image is up, it replaces the old one, so check the original post. Title: Re: 1st Edition What Is That!!? Post by: Teyandee on July 11, 2011, 02:17:06 pm A Prisoner Island?

I'll give it a shot. 1) "Those Transforming Felines" 2) The Big Cheese is in a weird green outfit, with weird glasses, standing on top of a small building in some trees in a park. -- Approximate timing is 9min 35sec. 3) He is trying to convince everyone that he's a hero due to a staged attack by the Rude Noise. It's not for lack of trying. But yes, this is an interesting topic, I'm just bad at games like this. Title: Re: 1st Edition What Is That!!? Post by: Mechadon on September 15, 2011, 01:22:53 pm Okay, you know what would really help me here. If some of you can PM me high quality screen caps of SPC. I'd like some fresh ones too, not ones that have been circulating for centuries, interesting ones too. My roadblock to motivation on this project has been finding the episodes that are of the highest quality. I basically use a dice-roller to choose which episode I download, (OMG MECHADON DOESN"T HAVE EVERY EPISODE DOWNLOADED!!!?) and if the video is too fuzzy, I don't want use it for screen caps, so I just give up and dick-around elswhere on the internet.
Thing is, if you suspect the image I use is one you've submited, then kindly refrain from submiting the answer. |
