=========================================================

Here are some Do's & Don'ts for the Anime & Cartoon sub-forum.

-- Do feel free to start a new thread discussing a series or genre of Anime, Manga, Comic Book, or Cartoon Series.

-- Do feel free to post fan-related content to the series you are discussing, in extremely limited quantities, and only as long as it's relevant to the current discussion.

These guidelines are subject to being changed depending on how the forum grows.
Thank you for your cooperation , and happy posting.  ;)

These guidelines are subject to being changed depending on how the forum grows.
Will it grow though?
From my years here I can say that the number of active members has mostly been a constant number.
People leave and people join, never actually raising the number of active members.

The number of posts is bound to grow though ;)

And the number of posts will grow by... you restricting them?

Yep!
With the hard hand of my senseless censorship this sub-forum will flourish.  ::)

Seriously though, all I am asking is that everyone keep the discussions about the shows.
Some fan-content is fine. It's even better when one of our own members has made it, and is showing us his or her achievement.

What I am getting tired of is posts that relate to non-member fan content.
If the content is related to say, an active gaming mod, or a fan comic that is also active, it's fine.

I still don't see how the forum will grow from this.

You were the first to make this subforum grow after KyoZaber's post. In fact, you made it grow as a direct result of KyoZaber's post.
There is your proof. You made it so.

You do understand the difference between Anime & Cartoons discussion and the rules discussion? Both make more forum posts but only 1 of them makes the sub-forum actually evolve and attract users.

That I do. I'm not doing anything to prevent discussion of any series on this sub-forum.
As I've said, over, and over again. I'll say it once more.

-- Do feel free to start a new thread discussing a series or genre of Anime, Manga, Comic Book, or Cartoon Series.

-- Do feel free to post fan-related content to the series you are discussing, in extremely limited quantities, and only as long as it's relevant to the current discussion.

The only thing I am asking be limited is fan content. That's fan art, fan fiction, fan media, ect.
You can post it, but tell us why you posted it. Make the discussion of how it relates to the series. Give it more depth than "It made me LAWL."

There is an exception to this, and that is all of you, the members of our forum. I want to see the creations of our forum members.
That is how this sub-forum, and even the forum as a whole will grow.

If you have content you made for a certain series, I want you to always feel free to show it here.
You may discuss it with other forum goers as much as you want. Tell us what you want to see in the series you so love.
If you don't want to, that's fine. It's your creation, you can do as you wish.
