There was definatly more action in the first season: both rookies being tricked by their teams (Donut going to "the store") (Caboose waiting for "the general") , the reds actually using their Puma and firing the gun, and caboose driving sheila. Now all they ever do is just stand there and talk.
I started watching Red vs Blue because it reminded me of Beast Wars. Two armies stuck in the same place, people shooting at each other and nobody dieing. They've been less clear on that subject. Since the series is called 'The Blood Gulch Chronicles' (and since Halo 3 doesn't have a Blood Gulch equivalent), they may be continuing the series on in Halo 3 in a different aspect.
