Edoropolis Emporium

It used to be nearly impossible to find any Pizza Cats stuff on eBay, now there's a lot of items, including many animation cels.  Of course a cel with its original background is worth more than a cel without one, so sometimes dealers pair their extra backgrounds with cels to try and get more for them.

The background is from a totally different show, it sort of changes the whole context from Vi flying around dodging missiles to Vi coming outside to find the garbage can smells really bad.

Nothing wrong with these cels, but I take the backgrounds out when they don't match.

As an artist, a part of me feels insulted that dealers would do that..

Also as a fan of the show... Did they really think someone who was hardcore up for a show like SPC wouldn't notice? :P

But, a cel is a cel... Have you ever contacted the dealer to request it without the background for a cheaper price?

Personally I have 3 books full of cels already, so it would take something pretty special to get me to buy another.

But when I was buying them, if I got one like this I'd look at it as "I got a cel, and I got a background as a bonus.  They just don't go together."

I posted this one because I thought it was kinda funny to have Vi reacting to smelly garbage.

Does that background even belong to Teyandee? It doesn't look very Edoropolishish...

No, it's some completely random background.
