Edoropolis Emporium

A collection of every single script booklet for the entire KNT series has shown up for auction on Yahoo Japan. (http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/171917820) It's pretty expensive at 40,000 yen, but it's one of those opportunities that doesn't come around very often. These would come in handy for a potential resubbing effort, and might offer glimpses into material that was changed or cut from the finished episodes.  Apparently there are only 51 scripts total due to 3 of the recap episodes not having them.

Wow, that is cool but expensive... Maybe all the forum members can contribute with something in roder to raise the money??

If we did manage to get the money together, obtain the scripts, and get them all scanned and shared on the web, it really would be a great resource for all fans and a way to preserve part of the show's history. According to the book that came out last year, the voice actors ad-libbed their lines a lot, so even just comparing what was in the script to what they actually said could be interesting. Unfortunately I don't have very much I could contribute right at this moment, but if the model sheet collection that was up for auction some years ago is any indication, these could stay up for a while before someone ends bidding on them. But no guarantee of that, of course.

Looks like the auction's ended and the scripts have been sold.
