Wow, I haven't created a thread in such a long time...

After finally watching all the Teyandee subbed episodes I really felt that our loved  ;) x >:[ relationship isn't reciprocal, while we saw Pururun having a soft side about Yattaro in a couple of times we never saw the same from Yattaro's side, he always had Omitsu in his mind, even in the last episode... So; what do you think? Is the most popular Teyandee couple just a case of unrequited love? Or maybe I missed or forgot Yattaro's love signals fr our loved Nyankee #3?

I was taken by surprise by that as well. But no worries; that what fan-fics are for.

I do love the idea of this couple, so I'm intrigued to seek out those specific episodes.

When are the times in which she shows a soft side for him?

There are lots of little things here and there. She shows concern for him when he's in danger, after her idol career goes down in flames she's happy that Yattarou tells her to cheer up, she buys him some clothes to make him feel better after his "date" with Omitsu goes badly. But it's all subtle enough that it's up to the viewer to decide whether it's really romantic interest or just being a good friend. That is, until we get to the finale. There they obviously play up the seeds of a romantic interest but it's all done with specifically with the intent of setting up that big "can I borrow some money?" punchline, so it's debatable how seriously it's meant to be taken.

I did see the last two episodes, and despite the punchline, I still think the seeds were handled well. It's, like you said, up to the fans whether or not they take it seriously, and I think that's the best way to go.

She even has tears when Yattaro seems to be dead after defeating the copy of Masamasa...

I'll be sure to watch these episodes during my semester break.

I'd always heard it was less ambiguous than SPC that there was a love triangle going on with Yattarou/Omitsu/Pururun, but as I haven't watched all of KNT yet, and taking the finale into consideration, it seems like they left it up to the fans to decide. I personally like Yattarou/Pururun (Speedy/Polly), but whatever floats your boat.


Did you ever get around to this? Can't remember the number, but the episode was "Pinch! The Masamasa is Stolen" (KNT) or "Gone with the Ginzu" (SPC).

I do like that they left it up to the fan's to decide, you know, because it kept the conversation going YEARS after the show ended.

I never got around to that. I ended up getting sidetracked and was focusing on other things. I do need to watch KNT on YouTube, after all they have the episodes with subtitles.

I've only seen The Big Comet Caper (KNT) and I liked it a lot.
