Title: Did SPC Re-Air? Post by: rcom88 on July 15, 2021, 01:27:37 am Hello to all. Before I get to the "meat" of the topic itself, I'd like to share a story as to why this show is so special to me. I remember watching this show back in the summer of 1997, and I instantly fell in love with the fun, random insanity that this show provided. Over the next number of weeks, I recorded the show each and every morning and would watch it whenever I woke up.
Fast-forward and now we're getting close to the beginning of 4th grade for me. I remember that week pretty well (Tuesday was Field of Screwballs, Wednesday was Speedy's Double Time Trick, and Thursday was Samurai Charm School); Samurai Charm School was a good episode by itself, but it's special in that it was the last episode that aired before this show just mysteriously disappeared. I want to do a video on the SPC from the perspective of my past self and also the perspective of a man that's about to be 33. But before I consider going forward, I'm curious: did the show ever re-air on television for anyone here? It never re-aired for me. Title: Re: Did SPC Re-Air? And it was sad, because in my country not so much people heard of this anime and i felt like one and only fan of SPC in Poland xd It was so unrealistic experience when much, much later I rewatch series on my PC. Earlier SPC was just in my memory and one article from anime/manga magazine. It's funny that something I just watch once have so much impact on me. Title: Re: Did SPC Re-Air? They had it on over the summer holidays in 1995 and I remember recording it.

Post by: KageReneko on October 27, 2023, 01:34:34 pm I am Colombian but I first watched the show in a Peruvian channel back in 1992. a couple of years later I found it was being broadcasted in a Colombian channel every sunday morning, I watched 3 episodes and then they just put another show... Colombian television always has sucked big time...
I really thank Peru for allowing me to watch two of my three favorite Japanimation shows ever, CatNinDen Teyandee and Saint Seiya (Although I knew them as Samurai Pizza Cats and Knights of the Zodiac) Title: Re: Did SPC Re-Air? SPC is a show that didn't get much love on broadcast TV, and I think that's sad. But it is nice that we're able to own the DVDs and watch the show on Youtube and Tubi TV. Title: Re: Did SPC Re-Air? LOL, I loved recording the show early in the morning while I was asleep and then watch it later after I woke up. Title: Re: Did SPC Re-Air? Lol, thank goodness for alternative ways to catch these shows, huh? |
