Title: Elder Scrolls Post by: Threaux on March 31, 2006, 10:22:02 pm Anyone else a fan of this series. Oblivion (the fourth installment) was just released and it is the most beautiful and addictive RPG I've ever played. I could spend hours just slaying rats and boxing mudcrabs. Check it out for the PC (best) or X-Box.

Morrowind is one of my favorite games of all time though. I don't think I ever completed the main story, I just liked to go around the world as an Argonian Witchhunter rooting out bad guys in the caves and dens. Yes, I love TES games, though I've only played Morrowind and Oblivion (which is the only game I'm currently playing). Want to try and do everything that you can possibly do on one player, like I did with Morrowind.
Oh, and I frequent the ES Forums as well (same username). Title: Re: Elder Scrolls Post by: necron9dee9 on December 05, 2006, 07:10:35 pm I had alot of fun playing around on Morrowind. I think I assassinated half the world after I was done playing it seriously.
I haven't picked up Oblivion yet. I just don't have the time to invest into a game like that now. Title: Re: Elder Scrolls Post by: SteC on December 05, 2006, 07:59:40 pm I know a friend of college who is absolutely bonkers about these games. Before Oblivion, he really loved the Morrowind installment to bits - in fact, he loves them both. I'm sure he's the only person in the whole world who would warp my mind to play the game.
btw, typing in 'whole world who would warp' is the strangest phrase I ever used (5 words beginning with 'w') ?:| Title: Re: Elder Scrolls Post by: Takila on December 06, 2006, 01:05:06 am btw, typing in 'whole world who would warp' is the strangest phrase I ever used (5 words beginning with 'w') ?:| Why would he want your mind warpped?Yeah, I've played it. Fun game: long quests. I eventually made some boots of pwn walking to overcome it, though. (Inside gripe) I hate how the game is biased towards casters. And it needed dual weilding. There are several mods to fix spells and casting any way you want, and there is also a dual weild mod. The game is anything you want, just go into TES Set and mod it or use any of the hundreds of thousands of mods available online. 8) |
