Just wanted to share a bit of "fan mail" I got today.

I was just going to ignore it, but I decided to go ahead and reply:
     As a matter of fact, we've been quite successful.  We're getting episodes encoded and released as digital files.  We're getting the Japanese episodes translated and subtitled.  Slayers is a good show, but there are already plenty of Slayers web pages.  I prefer not to do what everyone else is already doing.  I'm sure you're only capable of running with the crowd and doing what everyone else is doing.
 
     It's ironic that you find my web pages childish and choose to send me an email like some sort of school yard taunt.  But I'm sure you're doing it because you've made much better web pages, right?  So where's your's?  And your poor punctuation must just be some sort of joke, right?  Certainly someone calling me childish must be able to do better than that.

Poor stupid fan... I've had a lkot of commentaries like that in ghe anime groups where I've been but I never let this bug me... We know that Teyandee is a really unique anime that mixes a lot of things that other animes just have separately... I love the Pizza Cats and the people that don't do it is just causedon't know them or just are close-minded...

I used to get in arguments all the time with anyone who dared say anything bad about SPC/KNT.  But, eventually I learned the fact that internet arguing is pointless and never leads to any positive outcome.  So, normally I'd just ignore stuff like this now days.  But this one was just too ironic to pass up.

It's not worth fighting with someone like that.  Some people just don't get it, if they are trying to a pick fight over the internet they have already lost.

But what really makes them mad is when you send a nice, un-emotional e-mail back that says something like; "Thank you for your thoughts, I will take them into consideration.  I am trying to make my website a better internet experience for everyone."  Then they think that no one even read their silly hate mail and realize it was a waste of time.

The mails aren't stupid; otherwise, there are stupid persons who send mails.  =]
If liking SPC is childish, I shall be joyfully a child. Better than pretending to be an adult. OK, I'm a 39 years old child. :gurulou:
