Title: Power Levels
Post by: Alistair Erie on May 06, 2006, 04:33:58 am
*Attention Dragon Ball Z fans!
I want to try to guess the power levels of the Pizza Cats. I was wondering if any of you wanted to give some imput.
Things that should be taken into consideration:
-Their PLs with and without the suits
-Their finisher's PLs (Including Bad Bird's)
-Their PLs with the Extra Toppings Armor (Including the armor of Warp)

I'll try to put in my own guesses periodically.
Thanks y'all! ;)

With armor: 2
Extra-toppings: 3

Hmm. Now let me see.

With Armor:
Speedy: 350 (Finsiher: 1,000)
Guido: 300 (Finisher: 750)
Polly: 280 (Finisher: 800)

BadBird: 375 (Finisher: 1,000)

Without Armor:
Speedy: 110 (Finisher: NA)
Guido: 100 (Finisher: NA)
Polly: 100 (Finisher: NA)

BadBird: (Not sure on this one)

Extra Toppings Armor:
Speedy: 500 (Finisher: 1200)
Guido: 480 (Finisher: 1000)
Polly: 400 (Finisher: 1100)

BadBird: 500 (Finisher: 1200)

I hope that's close enough. I was thinking of early into the series of DBZ since I don't they'll be able to get that powerful.

Well I've only came up with the without armor PLs.
Speedy: 45
Polly: 50
Guido: 45

Explanation:
Speedy and Guido are about equal to each other. Speedy once pulled a tree right out of the ground, which is more that a human (even with a shotgun) can do. Guido was also able to bounce right back after being hit with the tree.
Of course, Polly beats up Speedy and Guido on a regular basis.  ;]

Off topic question cause I'm hurry...

Have you notived that the Cat's Eye Slash changes with the Extra Topping Armor?? Normally looks like yellow energy but with the extra-topping armor looks like fire...

Ya! The Extra Toppings Cats Eye Slash is really cool!

I can't really think in a digit for their power cause this is really variable... We know that Polly can smash Speedy and Guido all the time but this doesn't mean that she is stronger than them... (Is the same case in Ranma 1/2 where obviously Ranma is stronger than Akane but this doesn't impede that she kisk his/her ass everyday)

To say who is stronger, if Speedy opr bad Bird also is difficult some times Speddy beats him really easy and sometimes (Like the final episode) Bad Bird beats Speedy... In fact in The Time Travel epísode Bad Bird beats Speedy and Guido together and we even can't see that fight!!!

Ya that makes a lot of sense. Maybe you can't measure their power levels.

Yeah,  SPC isn't :ssj:, after all.

Yeah, for one thing it doesn't take them a whole half hour just to power up.  And Speedy could get off about fifty Cat's Eye Slashes in the amount of time it takes for Goku to form the Spirit Bomb.

Being a BIG fan of both the dragonball series and the spc series i think that the pizza cats would be quit weak and as for the time it takes to power up if you go back to the early episodes of dbz they powered up quite fast because they were weak and didnt have much to power up from.

Good point. The Pizza Cats would definitly be weak by DBZ standards, but I think that it wold be impossible to tell what their power levels would be.
During Dragon Ball, Yamcha cut a sword from a mountain, but he was calculated to be weaker than Hercule in the multitude of power level databases that I've been to. Unless Akira Toriyama tells us, the power levels of the Pizza Cats can only be inacurate guesses.
Oh well! :)

Simply put, each universe is their own. The Pizza Cats seem weak by DBZ standards because they are just that: DBZ standards. I've had this argument with several people who compare one universe to another and say "This guy is sooo much stronger than that guy," or "They'd never match up to so-and-so." If you combine these things, problems arise everywhere. A lot of things seem strong when placed alongside Pizza Cats, because they are wimps to the fifth degree because this is just how things are.

Ok, that was a lame ending, but I think you get my point.

Woah that's some deep stuff :). That point never came up at all in any conversations that I've had with my friends about anime stuff.

The power levels in DBZ haven't sense, each saga's villain is supposed a lot stronger than the last one but his power is the same crap... I loved Dragon Ball but I hate Dragon Ball Z and GT... In Dragon Ball the story, powere levels and fights had logic and its humor was great (A kinda like SPC) but DBZ is bored, trashes the concepts of DB and all the fights are the same... Also forget the coolest characters like Lanch and Oolong and changes the Time Room everytime that Goku visits it...

That's the problemn when a serie becomes too popular...

I have too much time to think about these things. Thats what happens when you have no life. :P

The power levels in DBZ haven't sense, each saga's villain is supposed a lot stronger than the last one but his power is the same crap...

That's cuz after each incredibly powerful villian is defeated, a NEW incredibly powerful villian(s) must enter the scene(and he must be even stronger than the last one). After about five of these, it becomes hard to create something more deadly to earth's survival than the last catastrophic bad dude to hit the scene.

Eventually, the writers come to this conclusion:

"Since we can't make anything more powerful than the last guy we created, let's bring back every single villian we can, have one humongous battle in which the earth is destroyed and everyone dies. That way, we can get rid of this show so our company stops losing money!"

"Whoa, dude, I never thought of that! Great out man!"

"Yeah, we can blame bad ratings on current world issues. That way, it's not our fault that we made people watch this crap! It's someone else's fault!"

(Beer cans are opened)

"Waddaya say, Brent? Wanna call it a day?"

"Yeah, that's all for todays story plotting. Now, let's discuss what spinoff we're gonna make of 'Survivor.'"

All: "WE LOVE THIS JOB!"

(Sorry about that. My hands just wouldn't stop typing. :P)
