I used to think that Samurai Pizza Cats was an American-made cartoon until I saw the game, which was clearly not. My thought was, "Why would there be a Japanese version of this if it wasn't Japanese?" Exactly.

As a matter of fact, you'll be surprised how well it plays on PC since us non-Famicom folk are unfamiliar with the controls in the original console.

Don't dismiss this game as a clone though. This game has very many unique things about itself (unique compared to NG anyways). I even recommend this game to non SPC and non NG fans. It's cute, fun and addicting. There are english versions of the game avialable as well but the cut scenes and dialogue scenes aren't really that essential.
