Title: Goodbye Post by: NPC on June 30, 2006, 07:26:57 pm I'm leaving you all now. Just for a week as I leave Kansas and trek to Indiana-- tomorrow.
I don't recall exactly which town(I let my parents worry about things like that), but I'm kind of excited. I usually don't leave the state and it's been maybe four, five years since we've had a vacation. So, it's a big deal. The main highlight(so far) is I have about three boxes of chocolate to eat on the way. =] I assume this was offered to me to insure I didn't argue too much about going. I'll see you all later. Who said "Goodbye" today was the Brazilian soccer team. It was defeated by France and now is saying bye bye to World Cup. (>:() Title: Re: Goodbye Post by: KageReneko on July 03, 2006, 05:34:25 pm Have fun there but... Don't you have a connection there??? ?:|
Title: Re: Hi Post by: NPC on July 12, 2006, 05:04:50 pm Me Back!
Wow, so much stuff happened that week... Here's a few off the top of my head: The bus travelled through the night, about a twelve hour drive. I didn't sleep at all due to the fact I had consumed a 52 oz Cherry Coke at dinner. My eyes looked like (O)__(O) My first night at the dorm was interrupted by a fire alarm triggered by a gas leak... I FINALLY got some sleep last Monday... however, I slept right through breakfast... I caught a bit of some dodgeball stuff going on. I didn't join, I was feeling a bit queasy. (Bet it was those weird breadsticks I had. :/) I didn't go sightseeing because we weren't supposed to leave the campus. :/(It was a youth event, in case you were wondering why I was in a dorm.) Moral of the story: "Man cannot live on Cherry Coke alone, but he can do pretty darn well with hamburgers and pizza." It's nice to be home though. ;) |
