Came across a couple of items of note on eBay today. The first is a SPC VHS tape (http://cgi.ebay.com/SAMURAI-PIZZA-CATS-VHS-SABAN-EUKV-3007-VHS-SABAN-1991_W0QQitemZ200010811161QQihZ010QQcategoryZ1345QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) being sold out of the UK. The video doesn't appear to be a copy of the "movie", as it's listed as containing four episodes (and assuming no commercials, that jives with the running time of about 70 minutes). The seller claims it's official Saban merchandise, but I'll let you folks judge for yourselves. Next is a set of 10 animation cells (http://cgi.ebay.com/ANIME-Animation-CEL-Samurai-Pizza-Cats-Lot-of-10-BKG_W0QQitemZ170010831698QQihZ007QQcategoryZ1345QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). The seller wants $45 for them, so if you have money to burn, feel free. There's also that "complete series" set of DVDs, but seeing as how Vi has already debunked it, I thought it would be better left alone. Just thought I'd mention it. ;) Excelsior! In North America, we only had the "Movie" released on tape, but the in the UK they released 2 tapes of episodes. You need a PAL system to watch it though. The price on the cels really isn't so bad, that's $4.50 per cel. I have a lot of cels already, so I'm rather picky about which ones I'll buy anymore, but this would be a good start for someone who doesn't have many/any yet.

The auction ends in about fifteen hours, and there are currently no bids.
