Title: Military Service. Post by: BurkeWorld on July 31, 2006, 01:41:04 am Aside from my application to become an OPP Officer, I have also just applied to the Canadian Armed Forces as an Infantry Soldier.
If I don't have to make it into the OPP, I shall begin my Military career, probably going to Afgahnistan or Iraq for tours once I become a fully qualified Solider. I'm nervous as sin, but also rather excited as this is rather life changing and one HELL of an adventure. I've always wanted to see the world, and if I can fire some weapons, protect some people and kick some ass; count me in. BurkeWorld Title: Re: Military Service. While I don't support the war or the politics behind it, I do support the men and women in the hotspots of the world, regardless of political activity. The cause may be tainted, but they are still my brothers and sisters trying to make a living. Good luck with your applications. Ontario Provincial Police sounds good (and probably safer ;)) Title: Re: Military Service.
