Title: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 11, 2005, 02:52:10 pm I thought of a new game. Unlike the well oraganized "They said What?" game, this one won't have a schedule. I have enough schedules in my life already. Instead, it will be played when I feel like playing it, in true spoiled princess fashion.
Here's how it works. I will up load a picture that is some how related to SPC/KNT. It might be an object from the show, part of a toy. These will be smaller pictures. You have to guess what the item is or where it's from (a certian scene in a certain episode, or a part of this object. Understand? maybe not, but well play anyways. Oh, I may give hits if it seems to be too hard. The prize is...nothing, except the statisfaction that you solved the mystery! Here we go! Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: ApacheMan2K on December 11, 2005, 03:46:04 pm that's the necklace Polly wore the first time she was a Pointless Sister, in the episode "Singing Samurai Sensation".
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 11, 2005, 08:08:45 pm AM2K is correct. But I thought that one might be a little too easy.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: BurkeWorld on December 19, 2005, 01:16:48 pm I was gonna say a cactus that was covered with snow.
Yeah, I rule. Burkey Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 19, 2005, 03:52:26 pm Here's the next Mystery Object: who knows what it is?
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: ApacheMan2K on December 19, 2005, 06:48:56 pm um...is that Empress Fredia's backpack?
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: BurkeWorld on December 19, 2005, 07:46:33 pm um...is that Empress Fredia's backpack? Wrong! Burkey ;) Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 20, 2005, 01:29:52 am um...is that Empress Fredia's backpack? Wrong! Burkey ;) No, that's right, but I see I'm going to have to find something that isn't so easy next time. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: BurkeWorld on December 20, 2005, 10:48:39 am I know, I was kiddin'
AM2k is on fire! Find something tough then. Burkey Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 20, 2005, 11:56:34 am OK, enough of the easy stuff:
Indentify this Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: ApacheMan2K on December 20, 2005, 03:46:33 pm hmm...this reminds me of the Fujiyama Geisha (the giant robot in "Mission in Manhattan").
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 20, 2005, 07:07:46 pm Nope
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: ApacheMan2K on December 21, 2005, 07:23:09 pm ok, um.........i'm stumped. XP
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Methid Man on December 21, 2005, 09:46:29 pm Looks like something on Lucille but I dunno what the picture's trying to show... Is it trying to show that yellow thing, or is it trying to show which body part it is?
Edit: Or is it all part of one big thing? -- Sam the Methid Man Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: KyoZaber on December 21, 2005, 09:48:58 pm I'm thinking it's an earing or part of a head dress.
I want to say it's something from Polly while she was doing a Pointless Sisters routeen, however I'm not sure about that one. Next I want to say it's something off of Princess Vi due to the hint of red at the upper right portion of the picture, however I'm sure that's not the case either. The background looks like something that is from either a LT shop, or a underground base. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Guido64380 on December 21, 2005, 11:08:51 pm It looks more like a chunk off one of the big cheeses robots. I'll guess... the one from the ep where Vi makes her own movie. (sorry, forgot title)
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 21, 2005, 11:42:23 pm Hee hee... Not so easy now, eh? No one has guessed correctly yet. Here's some hints; Everything in the picture is part of one object. It actually shows a large percentage of the object. The view is from the back.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Guido64380 on December 24, 2005, 04:44:12 am C'mon, one little clue?
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 24, 2005, 12:34:47 pm OK, since no one has guessed yet, it's time for another clue:
It belongs to the bad guys. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: ApacheMan2K on December 24, 2005, 01:07:04 pm i've had a hunch on that for some time.
um...would it be one of those parasols used by those two robots from "Singing Samurai Sensation"? Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 24, 2005, 09:50:50 pm Still not right, but you're getting close. Another clue:
It is from an episode with the Pointless Sisters. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: ApacheMan2K on December 25, 2005, 01:58:50 am hmm...that means it's in either Singing Samurai Sensation or No Talent Guido.
perhaps...it is one of the Rude Noise's instruments...? Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Puutarou on December 25, 2005, 05:48:08 pm I know what it is! But I checked out the episode, and that's cheating right? :D
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 25, 2005, 06:05:50 pm I know what it is! But I checked out the episode, and that's cheating right? :D No, you're allowed to research it. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Puutarou on December 26, 2005, 12:31:22 am Well, ok. If you say so...
(http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c20/bubba_trex/tadaaa.jpg) As seen, it's a part of the evil mecha/stage from "No Talent Guido". This one sure was hard. Without all the hints I would NEVER have figured it out. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 26, 2005, 02:20:14 am WINNER!
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Puutarou on December 26, 2005, 11:32:06 pm WINNER! Yay! *does happy dance* So what's the prize? Oh right, you said there were no prizes. Ah well. ^_^ EDITTED BY BURKEWORLD: Ok, your overtones are getting tiresome, we get the point, please leave this content for poor Nihonbare, not here. Burkey Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 30, 2005, 01:53:22 am PLUG: Nihonbare is the board for topics that are SPC/KNT related, but not suitable for EE, which is all ages board, or topics that might offend people here. And so, the peace is maintained. PM me for access, or avoid it totally if you don't like those sort of topics.
Anyway, that's not why I'm here. I'm here because it's time for the new Mystery Object! Now, I'm sure some of you will figure out what the object is pretty quickly, but you also have to say what episode it is from. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: ApacheMan2K on December 30, 2005, 03:23:54 am that's a PC Engine, in the episode "Gender Bender Butterflies"...or, perhaps a mimicry of a PC Engine, anyway.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: adam808 on December 30, 2005, 04:52:50 am Or it is a Famicom. Too blurry to tell.
Nah, you're probably right. I took a screencap and looked closer and it does seem closer to a PC Engine. PC Engine came out in 1987 and was 8-bit CPU, 16-bit graphics. It would have been popular enough in 1990 to be used in KNT. Super Famicom wasn't out until November 1991. Sega Mega Drive wasn't even out at the time. It was Famicom vs. PC Engine. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on December 30, 2005, 12:49:20 pm The correct answer is "Video Game Thingie", but I'll accept PC Engine since it does look like one after comparing pictures. And the Episode is Gender Bender Butterflies.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Methid Man on December 30, 2005, 05:37:49 pm I was about to say Dreamcast. :(
-- Sam the Methid Man Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: MM007 on January 01, 2006, 07:10:16 pm It is likely a PC Engine or Famicom, but there were other game systems in Japan at the time. The Sega Master System, Sega Mk-III in Japan, was around as early as 1986...
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: ApacheMan2K on January 01, 2006, 09:43:15 pm i doubt it's a Mark III, considering that was more rectangular, compared to a PC Engine. i think it looks more like a PC Engine than a Famicom, since it seems to have a CD-ROM cover, rather than a cartridge reader on the top.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: MM007 on January 02, 2006, 10:11:06 pm Yeah, it isn't a MK-III, I was just giving an example that Famicom and PC-Engine weren't the only systems around in 1990/91. Also, Megadrive came out in 1989, didn't it?
Also, can any of us post a pic for this, or just Vi? Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Threaux on January 02, 2006, 10:35:59 pm Its a turbografix-16 gt model in white. I think.
That's what looks like it. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: MM007 on January 02, 2006, 10:40:24 pm That has to be it. See? There were other systems it could be.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: adam808 on January 02, 2006, 11:23:16 pm Umm Turbografx16 IS PC Engine, just the export version. Same thing.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on January 03, 2006, 12:37:31 am I TOLD YOU: "VIDEO GAME THINGIE"!!
It was probably drawn without reference, so the exact model isn't important. But I see I need to keep you experts busy, so it's time for a new Mystery Object. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on April 12, 2007, 05:35:33 pm I was thinking of getting this game going again, but I see no one has yet guessed our last Mystery Object. Maybe someone will know it now. Any last guesses before I move on?
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Mechadon on April 12, 2007, 06:20:59 pm I TOLD YOU: "VIDEO GAME THINGIE"!! OH MY GOD!It was probably drawn without reference, so the exact model isn't important. But I see I need to keep you experts busy, so it's time for a new Mystery Object. In 1991, I dropped a crouton on the floor that looked just like that. But I could never find it on the ground. Now I know where it went! So I'm going to say it's my crouton! Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: felineki on April 13, 2007, 12:11:32 am Afraid I have no clue as to what the current object is, but I would like to see this game start up again. It seems fun. I might be able to contribute material too, seeing as I have lots of (read: WAAAAAY too many) screenshots.
Rgearding the discussion of video game consoles of the era, in one episode (I forget which), you can see what's clearly a Famicom controller (or at least something based on one). Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Takila on April 13, 2007, 01:56:54 am Whatever it is, it's spherical. It looks like a pauldron off of one of crows/monsters, or a part of a hairdoo.
Hints? Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on April 13, 2007, 05:32:49 am No, it's not the missing crouton.
Yes, I guess a hint is overdue. This is something you'll usually find in the palace. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Guido64380 on April 15, 2007, 04:26:27 pm Is it part of emperor Freds clothing?
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on April 15, 2007, 08:21:31 pm Is it part of emperor Freds clothing? Not clothing, but you're very close. It's his headlight/hair. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on April 15, 2007, 09:15:54 pm Time for a new Mystery Object. This one shouldn't be too hard. Bonus if you know where it's from.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Mechadon on April 15, 2007, 10:09:58 pm Looks like a propeller at first glance. But after careful inspection, I see that it's a ninja crow. And he's getting hit by one of Omitsu's missiles. It's from the back covers of that KNT Anniversary Memorial doujinshi set.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on April 16, 2007, 12:01:17 am Looks like a propeller at first glance. But after careful inspection, I see that it's a ninja crow. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: felineki on April 16, 2007, 12:17:02 am Aw, I should've checked the topic earlier. ;) But good eye, Mechadon. Fred's hair-light was a tough one!
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Romero Anchovy on May 18, 2009, 08:36:22 pm This seems challenging, Hey Vi you should start this one up again.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on May 19, 2009, 04:56:04 am This seems challenging, Hey Vi you should start this one up again. OK, if you think you can handle it- What is this? Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Mechadon on May 19, 2009, 08:01:36 am I'd go with someone's shoe. Haven't got a clue whose it is.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Romero Anchovy on May 19, 2009, 04:30:13 pm I think that it's the shoe of that one robot from Princess Vi's Hippy-Dippy Mom.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: sjonnoh on May 19, 2009, 05:59:24 pm I actually don't think it's a shoe but I aslo can't tell what else it is...
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: felineki on May 19, 2009, 06:18:41 pm It's Big Cheese's shoe from a scene early in "Gone with the Ginzu".
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on May 20, 2009, 04:01:59 pm It's Big Cheese's shoe from a scene early in "Gone with the Ginzu". Winner! Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on May 20, 2009, 04:26:44 pm It seems I've under estimated you hard core SPC fans, so I'm going to have to make this next one a bit harder. Of course, if no one can figure it out in a few days, I'll start giving clues.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: sjonnoh on May 20, 2009, 05:11:37 pm It's pretty small but I think it's some kinda part from francine
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Tigriss on May 23, 2009, 05:38:47 am These have been tough so far, but I know this one! It's the spool of thread from when Francine was knitting in "Pizza Cat Performance Review".
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on May 23, 2009, 04:30:55 pm These have been tough so far, but I know this one! Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on May 23, 2009, 04:46:44 pm I'm impressed that someone always seems to know what the mystery object is. Try this one:
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: felineki on May 23, 2009, 05:06:34 pm I thought that looked like Fran's tail, but I couldn't place the spool. Anyway, the new one is Empress Freda's backpack.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on May 24, 2009, 04:05:42 am I thought that looked like Fran's tail, but I couldn't place the spool. Anyway, the new one is Empress Freda's backpack. ...you people are too good at this, I'm going to have to find something harder. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Tigriss on May 24, 2009, 04:24:07 am The only reason I knew that right off the top of my head was because I thought it was so random for Francine to be knitting in that episode. ^^;
Some of these other ones have been harder for me to figure out (though I would have gotten the last one if felineki hadn't beat me to it). Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on May 24, 2009, 04:32:28 am OK, this one should be a challenge.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: felineki on May 25, 2009, 01:02:51 am The texture makes me think it was scanned from a printed material of some sort. In the upper-right is what appears to be the hand of Bad Bird or a Ninja Crow. But those observations aside, I'm drawing a blank.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on May 25, 2009, 04:11:04 pm The texture makes me think it was scanned from a printed material of some sort. In the upper-right is what appears to be the hand of Bad Bird or a Ninja Crow. But those observations aside, I'm drawing a blank. This one's not so easy, is it? =tee-hee= But don't worry, that's why the next step is that I start giving clues. And the first clue I'll give you is to confirm what Felineki suspects; this is from a comic, not from the anime, and Bad Bird is using it. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: sjonnoh on May 25, 2009, 05:08:32 pm I already thought bad bird had to do something with it and that he was planning on using this, since you see his fingers :D
I say it's some grenade Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Romero Anchovy on May 25, 2009, 06:30:52 pm Bad Bird looks like he's about to push a button of somesort...
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on May 26, 2009, 03:44:31 am And the first clue I'll give you is to confirm what Felineki suspects; this is from a comic, not from the anime, and Bad Bird is using it. Nobody has it yet. "A button of some sort" isn't good enough. The next clue is that in my first clue I said "Bad Bird" and not "Karamaru". Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: sjonnoh on May 26, 2009, 02:52:37 pm that makes a lot more clear.......
unless you mean it's a bad bird......... and not bad bird.......... Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: KageReneko on May 26, 2009, 03:54:50 pm I remember an american comic that was released a lot of time ago, I saw the scansin some web lots of years ago so I'm not sure but I think the pic comes from there... Anyway I never have read the comic so I don't know what is that thing that Bad Bird is about to push/use/whatever...
The only Image I have about the comic is this one (http://www.geocities.com/megayattaro/OOPS.JPG) Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: sjonnoh on May 26, 2009, 04:07:11 pm that looks... apart, guido that throws those hearts that polly always throws?
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: felineki on May 26, 2009, 04:41:05 pm If you look closely, it actually is Polly (triangular helmet lens, hearts on forearms), just colored with Guido's colors by mistake.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: sjonnoh on May 26, 2009, 04:47:58 pm You're right, now I see, only ...it... has guidos shoulders, really strange
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on May 27, 2009, 12:28:03 am You're on the right track, it is from an American comic. But let's see if any of you have as many SPC files on your computer as I do and can find it (or the actual books, which I also have).
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Romero Anchovy on May 27, 2009, 02:01:23 am hmm...well I now I don't have it, but when it's finally reveled could you maybe scan the book so that others could see it, Vi?
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Violet on June 03, 2009, 01:20:14 am I guess no one else has this, what kind of SPC fans are you? Saban Powerhouse comics were one of the very few SPC items the average fan with no Japanese sources could easily get (you can probably still find them on eBay). Unfortunately, there were only 2 issues with SPC. Even more unfortunately, one of them is an awful comic done by someone who probably never watched SPC before someone told him to draw it (The other comic is actually pretty good).
Anyway, the mystery object is from the bad comic, it's Bad Bird's very simple one-button remote control for his giant robot. I'll upload both comics for you later, for now I'll just show you this. Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Tigriss on June 03, 2009, 05:47:14 am I have this, I was just too lazy to get it out. The drawing/coloring in this thing is terrible... :O
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Expresso on June 03, 2009, 10:49:27 am Ahaha, I had that. It's back in America so that's my excuse =)
I didn't know there was another, though. Looking forward to seeing the "good one"! Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Romero Anchovy on June 03, 2009, 01:40:00 pm wow, that Bad Bird looks...scarier than the normal one...

Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Teyandee on November 23, 2009, 05:01:44 pm Ok the first clue: They belong to the good guy. They used in pair but they are not showed very often in the cartoon. Actually, if i not mistaken, they shown only once.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: blind2d on November 24, 2009, 12:43:12 am I want to say some sort of shuriken, but that's too general... I'm sorry, I just don't know.
Title: Re: Pizza Cats Mystery Object Post by: Teyandee on November 24, 2009, 06:26:19 am No, those are not shurikens. They look like small wood planks:
