1  Samurai Pizza Cats / Game Projects / Re: Guess I should put this here. Remember the Famicom game? on: April 17, 2007, 08:29:24 am
This game plays like a very simple "pick up and play" Ninja Gaiden. Don't dismiss this game as a clone though. This game has very many unique things about itself (unique compared to NG anyways). I even recommend this game to non SPC and non NG fans. It's cute, fun and addicting. There are english versions of the game avialable as well but the cut scenes and dialogue scenes aren't really that essential.

"ARE YOU KIDDING! ? ITS VERY ESSENTIAL! ITS THE SAMURAI PIZZA CATS!"

Ok, ok, It is. Check out the english translation.
2  General Discussion / Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Elitism on the Internet on: April 17, 2007, 08:23:08 am
Even though I'm not Elite, a hater, a troll or a flamer, I still have way more problems with Hyper Sensitive, Easily Offended Cry Babies on other forums than I do with people questioning my integrity due to lack of posting or joining in later than other folks have.

Believe it or not, people have had problems with me making a bunch of topics when I first join a forum. Now, I'm sure anyone with experience posting in forums can see how something like that can be annoying but I did not do this in an annoying fashion. They were all elaborate topics that had very much to do with the forum's site or the forums sub-catergory.

This forum, although intimidating at first, is one of the most warm and welcome forums I've been on.

I'm also the kind of person that thrives on being pissed off. I get a strange joy out being furious about something, especially if it's over something general and hard to support being pissed off about. Haha. Makes me feel alive and makes me feel like I really know how I am. So with that said anything advice that I could ever have for you, may not be right for you.

No, these people are not right. Especially if they belong to a bigger forum where there are a lot of MVP's in the "I'm more of a Regular than you Are" game. The same BS happens in real life and in chat rooms and no matter where it happens it all pisses me off the same. An even worse example of this is when you're an entertainer or a blogger (video, text, audio, any), because not only might you get guff from Entertainers and Bloggers who have been around longer, you will also get guff from people that admire those other entertainers and bloggers. It's really disgusting. Luckily, most of the attacked Entertainers have unified against those other Entertainers and those who admire the other entertainers enough that echo or speak for them. Now these folks are just shrugged off as haters and don't really affect anyone's activity, though it may not seem that way pre-unification. If only it were like this on some of the other forums I've posted on.

Here's a way to look at it. Folks who have nothing but discontent for your online presence are actually acting out of fear. Posters who have the potential to rise friendships with others on the forum can attract bad attention to themselves when haters are present. You can do one of either two things. (speaking with experience here)

1) Play like a Professional in Customer Service
Don't necessarily be polite, but be professional. Someone wants to have an attitude or use foul language with you and attack you perosnally or is just being a big time douche nozzle. Let them be that way. Let them continue to act like asses. Meanwhile you act like someone that wants nothing but cooperative discussion. Ways you can do this can vary. Ignoring them just encourages them to harass you more and be louder about it. The threads that they come bother you in, just continue to defend yourself, but professionally. If these people take it up to the next level, by fallowing your posts and attacking each and everything you write outside of the topic which you and the user have a dispute, you can stop all together and ignore them. His posts will be out of topic and singled out against you and other posters may not respect that. If they do respect it. then I suggest you do this
2) Confront them once and only once
If they continue and you get no support from anyone else in the forum and you're getting much more harassment than praise for your comments. Just up and leave that garbage.

People who boast about their seniority can go fly a kite and pound sand. If it's not Manners, Religion and Tradition, it's Senoirity.

Jerks.

Haha, Sorry if this comment was uninteresting, uninspiring and just a plain bore-a-thon of nothing interesting. I tend to ramble but only when I speak as myself and not as a character and not as a "professional".

4  General Discussion / Anime & Cartoons / Re: MST3K on: April 17, 2007, 07:32:03 am
My only problem with MST3K..

The series had many more episodes featuring Mike than they did Joel.
I like Joel over Mike because Joel actually has that deranged stranded in space behavior down to a T.

This guy always looks tired, and whenever the bosses give him any guff, instead of getting angry, he just takes it and responds like a poor kid on anti-depressents and mood stabilizers. Like a true lonely guy in space who actually would go mad if it weren't for his robot friends. Mike kind of kills this in my opinion. Still a great show. I enjoy the B-Movies even by themselves, but MST3K commentary will forever be welcome.

I recommend MST3K to anyone. Download a few Higher Quality MST3K Movies, get a bowl of popcorn, a 2 liter of Ginger Ale. Sit back in a chair. And feel at peace with the world as you watch a guy and two robots talk smack about the movie you and them are watching.

I hate it when people put silly loud music over the original audio. Like it's suppose to impress us.

9  Samurai Pizza Cats / General SPC Discussion / Samurai Pizza Cats Sighting - Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Pilote on: April 04, 2006, 04:05:58 pm
As we all know, The Samurai Pizza Cats as well as the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are both Haim Saban reproductions of Original Japanese Footage Westernized for Younger Kids. Here is a Samurai Pizza Cats Sighting on the Pilote Episode for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

I don't think anyone cares about this yeah-so-what trivia, but here it is. SPC on MMPR.

14  General Discussion / Anime & Cartoons / Re: There are two kinds of kids.. on: September 27, 2005, 04:39:03 am
Ones that like the Animaniacs, and ones that DON'T like the Animaniacs.

Personally I thought the Animaniacs kicked ass, Especially when Wacko did his belching symphony in what appeared to be the Hollywood Bowl.

Interesting... i encoded 97 of 99 episodes of that... including the 2 singalongs and movie, plus "the star warners" star wars spoof.

but no-one was interested so they've been locked away for a long long time... sheesh must be nigh on 10 years

Neko

Here's Yakko's world as a little treat. Speedy Wink

then you've seen the power rangers spoof then? Man.. they totally hit the nail on the head on that one. Especially with the momment where the Warners are dressed up in lab coats and discover politically correct (and fictional) alternatives to things.
15  General Discussion / Anime & Cartoons / Re: There are two kinds of kids.. on: September 13, 2005, 04:12:43 pm
Freakazoid was a true american cartoon that im proud of...unlike anime rip offs...we've had our shares of those... and you can usually tell if there american cause of the experesions and mainly the BACKGROUND! anime have awsome background...we dont... usually.. o and Animaniacs was one of the best cartoons i watch! "We've got baloni (i cant spell!!) in our slacks!"

Here's the problem. You got all of these manga parasites that get inspired by Sailor Moon and Final Fantasy to sit down and draw and what comes out on paper? Teenage looking "badasses" that are the masters of everything even though they are no older than 19 years old (atleast phsyically) that just happen to have hair made out of rubber, and eyes so big. Do these artists from all over the world ever develope their own style? Perhaps, but I don't think Avatar and Totally Spies and Teen Titans and the New Batman Comic Books and other japanese knock offs of japanese knock offs do it because they want to take on the market by being what everyone seems to love. I just think the certian generation of fungus that loved Annie-May has grown up into tall poisonous mushrooms that actually did end up becoming comic book artists and animators. Their lack of creativity only interests the television networks that "produce" Yu Gi Oh and Inu Yasha to sell their shows to various stations across the nation. Oh well, good for them I guess. Originality isn't "Cool", it's a competition of the most extreme Verses the most "OMG WTF PWN LOL NOOB!!!!111oneonebecauseithinki'mfunnyforsomereasonwhenidothat LMAO @ DA BBQ! SO L33T EVEN THOUGH I CAN'T REPLACE EVERY LETTER WITH A NUMBER! </sarcasim> <3 \m/ myspace.com jew!"

18  General Discussion / Anime & Cartoons / Re: Uh~ oh~... There's that Rabbit again~! on: September 08, 2005, 06:04:40 am
There she is!! Uberalles. I always loved this one. It's a good break from that teen made violence, stick figure crap and 8bit nonsense. Ah well, I'm sure there are other fine cartoons out there, its just that everyone finds it funny when Mario Dances and its that kind of stuff that gets on the frontpage/e-mails. Oh well. Newgrounds had a target market years ago of all the wrong people and that is why it is what it is today.
19  General Discussion / Tech & Video Gaming / Re: Awful, Terrible, Terrible Games. on: September 08, 2005, 06:00:23 am
paper boy reminded me of those damn Tiger games. Any hand held tiger game is a piece of crap. I wont even call it a video game.

i have a reasonably slow PC when it comes to graphics and video. It took me too damn long to encode a life with louie episode. I gave up on it until I get faster and better stuff.
