3  Samurai Pizza Cats / Fan Works / Pizza Cats/Sliders Crossover on: February 06, 2009, 04:06:46 pm
Well here's the first bit of a fic I'm currently working on. It's a crossover between Pizza Cats and the Sci-Fi show Sliders. For more info on Sliders check out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sliders

But here's a the basic plot of Sliders: Quinn Mallory is a super genius college student, Professor Arturo is his mentor and Wade Welleis Quinn's friend/love interest. One day Quinn was able to develop the Timer, that opens gateways to other universes. When testing it, Rembrandt Brown, a washed up singer, was accidentally pulled into the gateway with Quinn and company.

Due to a mistake with the Timer, they were unable to return to their own Earth, and now slide from dimension to dimension hoping to find a way back to their own world.

The Sliders will be the focus of the fic for a while. Then the Cats will be introduced into the story.

To Slide a Cat

Quinn examined the Timer as it began to tick down to zero. "Ready to go everyone?"

"I was ready to go before we got here, I can't believe we landed in a world were Americans don't speak English." Rembrandt complained.

"You should all be thankful I knew enough German to get us a room and food. " Professor Arturo pointed out with a smirk.

Wade rolled her eyes at the older man. "Maybe we would be if you got us something other than bratwurst and beer for the last couple of days."

Arturo shrugged. "Simply getting into the spirit of this world."

Quinn chuckled. "I don't know about all of you, but I'm hoping the next world we land on has a pizza place." He pointed the Timer and opened a gateway and jumped in. He was followed by the others.

Quinn landed with a thud on hard cement, followed by Wade, then Arturo, and finally Rembrandt, who was fortunate enough to land on Arturo.

Quinn ached a little as he got up and looked around. "Strange, we usually land in the park." He then helped Wade up. "Guess this place is built differently." He looked around to see they were in an alley.

"Mr. Brown, do you intend to land on me?!" The incredulous Professor Arturo asked Rembrandt.

"Sure beats landing on concrete." Rembrandt replied as he helped the Professor up. He then turned to Quinn. "So, how long we here for?"

Quinn looked over the timer. "Two weeks."

Wade poked her head out the alley and took a step back in shock. "Uh, Quinn, that might be a bit of a problem."

Quinn looked back towards her. "Why?"

"Cause I have a feeling we might stick out here." Wade pointed out of the alley, and the remaining Sliders took a peak and spotted animals with human traits walking the streets.

"I don't think we're in San Fransisco anymore." A nervous Quinn uttered.

"What if you found a portal to a parallel universe? What if you could slide into a thousand different worlds - where it's the same year, and you're the same person, but everything else is different? My friends and I found the gateway. Now, the problem is: finding a way back home."

Arturo and Quinn dug through a near by dumpster as Wade and Rembrandt continued watching the crowd.

"Why aren't there any humans here?" Wade asked.

"Well Miss. Welles, I'd wager this is an Earth were humanity never evolved." Professor Arturo answered. "And in their place, it seems numerous other species evolved to intelligent life forms."

"If on our world we eat animals, I wonder if on this world they eat...You know what, for the next two weeks I'm a vegetarian." Rembrandt told the others, he looked back at Quinn and Arturo. "What are you two doing anyway?"

The two men continued looking through the garbage. "Looking for a way to disguise ourselves, I'd like to get as little attention as possible for the two weeks weeks."  He pulled out a fours large blankets. "Plug your noses and put these on." He tossed the blankets to Wade, Rembrandt and Arturo.

Taking a sniff, Rembrandt gagged. "Your kidding right?"

"No and cover your heads as much as possible. Just until we find a hotel room or at least a better place to hide." Quinn told him, the blankets were thin and he hoped people would assume they were cloaks. "Who knows, maybe they'll think we're monks."

"More likely transients from the smell of these." Arturo grumbled as he put his on.

That's all for now, I might put more up tonight. If not I'll have more up on the weekend.

Best villian, ah the eternal question  Seymour Cheese or  Bad Bird or  Jerry Attrick

Bad Bird is the toughest of the baddies, but he loses points for going good.

Jerry is the most competent, but rarely takes center stage.

And the winner...Big Cheese, his plans fail, his robots are poorly designed, and he's a cross-dresser, but when it comes down to it, style is everything.

Hello all, I'm new to the board. I use to watch the Cats on YTV after school. I use to write Fanfics, but lost them a long while back. Now I'm diving back into the fandom, great to see it's still active.

Hope to join some discussions with you all in the future.
