Quite honestly, Pit is looking like the most interesting player to me. I have developed a mean Samus in Melee, so Pit is looking to be a little better suited for my style. Long range attack with the bow, yet seperates into a quick melee attack. Also, they guy has wings, which will mix my style of attack with Samus with my love to float with Jigglypuff.
Speaking of which, is another thing I'm looking foward to. With this new feature of incredible powerhouse moves, I can't wait for Jigglypuff's. Rest is easily one of the most dangerous moves in the hands of someone who can perfect it, yet the drawback of being unable to block or move for a couple seconds. To find a Jigglypuff with an even more powerful move would be extremely interesting.

General Discussion / Tech & Video Gaming / Re: question for Super Smash Bros. fans

I think the whole Super Smash Brothers theme is definitly to make dream matches between Nintendo characters so fans can see who they think once and for all is the best Nintendo character.
Pokemon seems to be a big idea with Nintendo, as 3 characters got added in the last one. We might be seeing more playable Pokemon in the next one. I haven't been around them for years, so I might need to dig up some names, but one great choice would be Meowth. Mewtwo, Pikachu, and Jigglypuff all had key roles in the storyline. (And of course, Pichu is the lower form of the most popular one...) Meowth also had a key role, and is also bipedal with upper and lower appendages. We should look out for him.
Mario characters are a big part of the game, and there are so many to choose from. People like Birdo, Wario, Waluigi, Toad, Toadette, Daisy, Wart, Koopa Kids, and many more are all free game. However, I think we might see more of Mario's counter parts. Such as, Baby Mario. Or even the possibility of Shadow Mario from Sunshine. Also, with the Game and Watch trend, we might need to look out for Paper Mario. Overall, there are just too many characters to look out for in the Mario area. (Although, I forgot to mention my favorite pick, from Mario Party 7: Dry Bones. ^_^)
Kirby seems lonely. MetaKnight and DeDeDe might make an appearance. And even if they don't I am looking foward to the new forms Kirby will be able to take on.
Link and his crew seem to be set. You have all three parts of the Triforce there, along with Young Link and Sheik. I seriously doubt there will be anyone else playable from the Legend of Zelda series.
Donkey Kong is also lonely. Diddy and/or Dixie making their debutes is highly possible. We might even see K. Rool or a Kremling or two.
Star Fox does have its possible's and maybe's. Definitly not Peppy or Slippy though. Peppy seems a little too old to be roughing it with his team mates, and Slippy, well, is Slippy, let's face it.
One of the big time mysteries is if they will put in an old school character nobody will think of again. There are so many games that were made in the past that no one is really sure of what may come from that era, if any character.
Ness might see some company, but then again, maybe not.
Samus didn't really have any other characters that seemed likely to be playable, until Hunters came out. Now, there are quite a few choices to pick from that could be seen in the next game.
Well, that's all my rambling for now. ^_^;;;

Hmmmmmm... To put 15 years of gaming into 5 slots is a hard choice...
5. Chrono Trigger - Probably the longest RPG I have continuously played, since the extra mode allows you to keep going and keep leveling up. Awesome storyline and plot. And the graphic design was excellent for its platform.
4. Super Smash Brothers: Melee - An extremely huge and neverending game. So many different people with so many different styles, you may never encounter the same experience twice.
3. Dance Dance Revolution - I've been playing for about 2 and a half years, and it doesn't get old. As long as another "Extreme" or "DDR: Mario Mix"doesn't come out, this game series should stay strong with fans.
2. Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door - Amazing sound and intreging plot. A great culmination of all past Mario RPG's. Also, quite challenging to use your head with.
1. Silent Hill - Forget the upcoming movie. This was the original horror for gamers. Probably the best known first game in a horror series, it had incredible gameplay with a great story to match.

Bwahahaha, my turn to torture peoples with my style of music.
I like good music. That's as easy as I can describe it. I enjoy a wide variety of music, from techno/trance to classical and from depressing and dark music to happy and cheerful anime songs. My biggest "genre" would have to be DDR music, although I own several anime soundtracks. Video game soudtracks and background musics rank second amongst my collection.
Music has a sort of ring to it in my ears; either it sounds good, or it just doesn't click. In the former case, I like it. In the later, I usually don't care for it. So, my definition of good or bad music is really based on the music itself rather than the artist, genre, style, wording, instruments, or anything else.

Samurai Pizza Cats / General SPC Discussion / Re: Introductions / Your First SPC Experience
|
on: April 13, 2006, 01:44:41 pm

To start, an introduction: My name is Miles, and I was a religious fan of Samurai Pizza Cats back when it was shown on FOX around 4 PM on weekdays in the mid 90's. Over the past year or so, I have been looking back into my old school obsession, and have gladly come across quite a few sites such as this. Spurring on my renewed interest was when I purchased the DVD produced and distributed by Jade Entertainment. My interests to seek further communities of SPC fans were also pushed along when I was admited as a leader of the Samurai Pizza Cats clan of www.kingdomofloathing.com and started to rally members for events. Among one of our current ideas is that of offering our help towards episode uploading and/or helping with the making of or making a permanent SPC site with consistent episode downlaodability. Overall, I am looking to be a helpful member in any fashion possible to the extent of mine or my fellow clan members' abilities, and it appears this site is an excellent place to look for such an ideal.
