In my role-playing experience, I've stuck mainly to chat rooms and messengers between friends. Forums sometimes move too quickly for me (just try to RP on Gaia Online, Yeesh!).
I like RP's that aren't heavily combat influenced.

Yeah...  When you RP on Gaia, you gotta find a quiet place, like a private guild or something.  =_=;;

I've bought all three of the original Tenchi movies on DVD, and I also have the complete Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-okhi! series on DVD.  I'm hoping to collect the COMPLETE collection someday.  ^_^

I prefer to do online forum RPs, as opposed to AIM ones...  I tend to get detailed and long-winded in my replies, and I don't like to keep the other person waiting.  ^_^;;

As for RP type, I stuck with one that I started for a loooooong time...  The whole thing lasted about a year and a half, with two completed portions, and two that started, but ultimately ended uncomplete, as people either lost internet connections, or just couldn't make the time.

The story had room for both humans and furries, which everyone seemed to enjoy...  The furries had gone through illegal experimentation at Calvary Labs, after being abducted from an adoption agency.  One of the "adoptees" was not experimented on, however, and he basically lead the uprising against the organization.  My character was hired by this guy, not knowing that he was Calvary's "favorite son", someone that my character had grown up with.

Long story short, it rocked.

Two guys, a girl, and a pizza place.  'Nuff said.

Well Andy, I know it's strange, but I heard this disappointing news as well...  Everyone, even the universe as we know it, is beating down on the little guy . 

*grumbles*

First name of the Bishoujo Senshi's normal firm, first name of the alter ego. You can tell at this point that I know a fair amount of (and still despise) Sailor Moon, hence I choose to regularly run away from people who endorse it.

Well, you'll be happy to know that I was a much bigger fan of Sailor Moon back in 9th grade, when I got my first personal email account...  The name just kinda stuck around.  I rarely watch it any more, and I'm not nearly as big of a fanatic as I once was.  So get yer butt back over here and talk to me.

   I was wondering when someone was going to ask that question...  Since about 1999, everyone's called me Usagi, whether from my Sailor Moon fandom at the time, or the fact that I was constantly on the move, even when sitting down.  *I have a wierd leg twitch thing...  nervous habit, runs in the family, lol*

So, I carried on that nickname into my internet persona, and have used it for almost all of my RPing characters...  Even a fox-girl.  So yeah...  That's why I'd name a fox Usagi.

And yeah...  .gif's can get really high up there, really easily.  I was making a simple forum signature one day, and it took me FOREVER to get it below 40kb >.<  And now it looks really bad.     But at least it still gets the point across.

^_^  So this is my kistune (fox) form SPC hero.  I would name her Usagi (as is the name of my foxgirl RP character), but I'm betting the majority of the Princess Vi fans here would ring my neck.

I believe it was the summer before my 8th grade year...  My little sister and I were channel surfing, and I suddenly stumbled across some sort of anime on Fox Kids.  (Oh, the good old days when TV lineup names made sense.)  After the first five minutes of SPC, I couldn't stop laughing, and my little sister (only about 3 or 4 at the time) loved watching it as well.  And my gawd, who knew a middle schooler would cry at the final episodes.   

So now I'm 22, and have a little girl of my own, just over a year and a half.  My husband thinks I'm crazy for watching it, but heck...  I think HeMan is more "dumbed down" for kids than SPC.   

As for favorite characters...  I'm a BadBird fangirl at heart. 

I suppose I'll try this on for size, as my first post...
