Updated graphics to something like Gundam 00 but still retaining the comical look would be amazing, If they were to remake this or whatever. At most I would like a 30Min OVA or a movie of some sort, a true one not just two episodes mashed together.

I think the big cheese was also in a movie called Lucky Seven. They sure as hell sound alike.   

Thanks for the clip. To me it actually sounds about the same as the OP on Youtube, but that's just an initial impression. As for subtitles, Discotek's release is going to have them, so we'll just have to be patient.

The Japanese audio is Mono at source which is common in old anime (e.g. Dragonball). But once you start watching it you won't notice the audio being mono, plus the audio isn't muffled or distorted at any point. So you get this clear image (Image being waaay better than the French version which has ghosting images due to unproper frame-rate changes they did.) with clean audio.
I have the first volume so I can vouch for ANE.

I paid $51.65 for this box set alone! Now that's commitment! I believe the reason why it cost so much is because "supposedly" Part 2 is hard to find. (Pretty much rare)
I'm looking into buying Part 1 of the collection and when I do, I'll start making my own Encodes.
The quality on the DVD's are just amazing! Tsuneko knew what he was doing! haha

The French DVD release consists of 2 box sets, one for the first half of the show, and another for the second half. I don't think they ever released a combined pack, you'll have to buy both boxes separately. I don't know of any places off hand where you could buy them, unfortunately.

I did a little more detailed search after what you said you and you are correct.
The thing that makes me mad is that the part 2. is unavailable anywhere. Part 1. can be found anywhere I searched but when it comes to part 2. It is nowhere to be found or ether it's unavailable and don't know when it will be restocked.

I've found a site that has a part one DVD box-set with 5 DVD's. I don't know how many episodes are contained in the box-set but I guessing 18 Episode (At Most) Of course this is a French Box-set.
I've been searching all over and found only that bootleg version that is on Ebay and also the Jade version.

i know you are all impatient Tongue well it has been some time since i've upped an episode. but give it a bit longer. we will have some more done soon.

My server that had the episodes on has had some technical failiures, so i'm still waiting for the drives to be recovered. (was firey, flames and smoke) so you'll just need to be patient. The drives are fine however, but of course i need to check them before returning them to another machine. on a positive note, i will be having a new machine shortly, so MAY do a bulk re-encode of the earlier episodes to match them all up to 175MB now i have the better encoding algorithm.

I will also do 1 and ONLY 1 HD episode of SPC. so i will leave one of you to make a thread and do a vote on the best episode. (if it is a two parter, i will do both) SO CHOOSE WISELY

The deadline for this will be june 2010. so i can leave the computer doing the upscaling.
